Red Nails

I had a horrible experience here. As soon as I walked in I noticed the strong nauseating smell, I should have left right then. I wanted a fill with gel nail polish and had 2 nails to repair… This cost me $ 40. Not only was it expensive (compared to everywhere else I have been to) but the 2 nails that she repaired were cut extremely short compared to my other nails. A large portion of my nail beds were left showing on almost every nail. I left here completely unsatisfied and will NOT be returning.

I had no choice but to give this place 1 star after having a terrible experience here. Hannah the owner is nothing but nasty and did not try to redeem herself in anyway. She gives terrible customer service and I would not recommend anyone to go here.

Wish I could give zero rating. The employees and owner are very rude speaking their own language in front of you. The nail technician did not even look up at me once or ask my name, he just spoke his language and laughed with the other employees. There was another time where a lady came to take off my nail polish and she wore dirty gloves and chewed her gum loudly. These people have less than desired characters and the salon is filthy. I will not be going back.

They say they open at 9 but don’t count on it… the doors may be open but there is only one girl there and the rest don’t come before 9:30. I’m over at a different salon getting my nails done because when they say 9 they mean it.

This is my go to place– I have been to several overpriced places in Boca and this place is priced well and I actually am satisfied EVERYTIME! My tech is Nancy and she does a great job
Very satisfied customer. Been going there 7months now :-)

Nancy left. I have tried THREE other techs and every one is worse than the last. I REALLY tried to give these folks the benefit of the doubt, and I know mistakes happen (sometimes)
I keep going cause it’s less than a mile away, but not anymore.
I stopped going a month ago and have been to BOCA NAIL BAR ever since.
My daughter just went and got a full set at red because she remembered that is where I go and tbh, a blind person could have done better. She got NexGen and a full set of tips and some tips were actually crooked! The nails were all thick and uneven. What a fail! The worst part is that if you complain, they give you attitude and tell you «I fix it» but they half ass fix it and are pissy about it

I wish I could give 0 stars. This was terrible unorganized place. It was disgusting and run down. Everyone was rude and it closed 75 $ for a mani and pedi. Which lasted only 2 days until they chipped.

My mom, friend, and I all got pedicures here today (in town from San Francisco). The experience was very good, nothing spectacular or extra luxurious, but good. Everything was clean and nice. The pedicurist was friendly and gave me a really great calf massage. He also did a good job on my toe polish. The price was also good, at $ 20 for a pedicure. I would go back if I’m in the area again.

Not clean at all, the lady didnt clean the pedicure bath, and she tried to use a dirty blue foot scrub on my feet, I asked her if I can have a new one because it was obviously dirty you could see other peoples dead skin on it and she said that I could buy one in the kit that cost $ 27 which is more then the pedicure. Ridiculous! I will never go back there!!!

Got my 4 her old (please don’t judge me!) her first ever salon manicure (actually a polish change) for 5 bux. We wlaked in at about 5:15 on a Thursday and they were mobbed so we came back just around closing time and they gave her a very quick polish with a pale pink OPI shade. She also got silver «sparklies» on each thumb for no additional charge.
The fumes were hideous and a well ventilated nail salon should NOT reek of polish, but the asian staff was very nice.

After walking around for days with my hands in my pockets to hide my hideous broken nails Red Nails came to my rescue! They were able to fit me in immediately on this Friday morning and Kevin, the nail technician, was super fast! He was such a pro that I’ve figured he’s been working for Red Nails forever so I was surprised to hear he’s only been there a week… Red Nails is lucky to have him!
And I was lucky to find Red Nails, especially because of their prices! $ 15 for fills! Pretty exciting since I usually spend over $ 30 in Chicago. I didn’t have time for a pedicure, but their red chairs looked awfully comfortable so I“ll be back the next time I’m in town! Thanks to Red Nail and Kevin for making my hands looks presentable!
