Once again, Dr. Rosengarten has proven himself to be the most honest and caring specialist around. I was wowed by him last year when I had a root canal. This time, I needed to bring my ailing mother who had an infection and most likely needed an extraction(as per her dentist). Dr. Rosengarten and Susan tended to her with kid gloves and put her at ease(she has dementia). Unfortunately, he confirmed her dentists’ evaluation. As last year, Dr. Rosengarten cares about his patients and along with his assistant Susan treat you right and not out to hustle you. If I could enter 6 stars I would.

I highly recommend this Dentist. He saved me the pain and money of getting a root canal on a tooth that a root canal would never of worked on. He was more interested in referring me to an Oral Surgeon to do the right thing, then just doing a procedure to make money on a root canal procedure that would of never worked. He may not be the most sophisticated or with the most advanced tooled technology but I rather have honest, skilled, and experienced then Television Screens and a new office and chair to sit on.

I have been a patient of Dr. Rosengarten’s since 2005. He is now working on my 4th root canal. I have had only good experiences with him on all my visits. He is very professional, keeps me informed as the procedure goes on and answers all my questions and concerns that I have. I would certainly go back if(unfortunately) I have more root canal work in the future. I can’t understand why anybody else would have had any problems with him. Seems almost like a fable — with many misspelled words. I have no hesitation«putting my mouth in his hands» and highly recommend him.

DONOTGOTODR. ROSENGARTEN. HEISRUDEANDCOLDANDFROMTHEDARKAGES! I came to Dr. Rosengarten for an emergency root canal because he accepts my insurance and because family members had good experiences. I had a bad impression from the start. The office looked like it hadn’t been updated in decades, he had a single staff member who doubled as receptionist and assistant and kept running around(clearly he can’t keep his staff). The Dr. gave no introduction, no explanation of the procedure despite my questioning. This was bad because I had extreme anxiety and hate not knowing what to expect. He was rough with my mouth(rather than gently asking me to open, tilt, etc) and rude to me(saying I was too old to be scared of a root canal.). He tried numbing me, then started drilling, and after a few moments I felt every painful sting. He said I needed more shots, and when he gave me the second shots, I FELT the second shots, which has never happened to me before– clearly the first shots were completely ineffective. Despite the second shots and waiting for 5 minutes, I told him I still felt the gums around the tooth, but he wanted to try anyway, and consequently sent me through the roof another 50 times with that horrible drill. At one point of my moaning he said, «That doesn’t hurt, I’m not even touching you.» which I thought was extremely cold and dismissive, since my tooth was throbbing by that point after such incessant, relentless drilling. He finally let me go, saying we’ll have to try again tomorrow. I was sobbing by this point. He told my mother after I had left to the bathroom that it was purely psychological and emotional and that I was«worked up» from the start. That he gives root canals to kids all the time, that I was just being a child. RIDICULOUS! Yes, I was anxious, yes, I was scared, but the pain is what’s going to prevent me from going back to this guy. It was very real and now seared into my memory. Needless to say I canceled my appointment today. I have never had such a traumatic experience with any dentist or doctor before. Usually just a gentle demeanor or a nice assistant is enough to calm me, but this guy clearly was deaf to my moans and horrific pain. Do not go to Dr. Rosengarten if you care about yourself at all.
