Royal Palm Place

This review is for the Taste of Royal Palm Place
I didn’t think I was going to like The Taste of Royal Palm Place. I had been trying for almost a week to get details about this event. I called the Junior League, which put on this event, several times. I got some information but not much. Nobody seemed to know the exact number of restaurants that would be participating or what they would be serving. Nobody even seemed to know if it would be inside or outside. I decided to go at the last minute.
Of all the restaurants in Royal Palm Place only the following six participated: The food was beautifully presented and each restaurant was attractive.
1. Piattini — assorted canapés. Drink– red wine.
2. Another Broken Egg Café — shrimp and grits. Drink– white wine.
3. Biergarten — pretzel with dipping sauces and strudel. Drink– beer
4. Casimir Bistro– beef bourguignon and mashed potato. No drink.
5. Sapphire Indian Cuisine– cauliflower appetizer, chicken tikka masala, white rice. Drink– small serving of Bombay Sapphire.
6. Ichyami Buffet & Sushi — assorted sushi. No drink.
I was very impressed by how welcoming everyone was. It was a nice event. I’m looking forward to going to each of the six restaurants.
