The dealership said my transmission was destroyed and said I needed a new one. It was only 6k lol so I called Aamco and they could rebuild it for 3k so I took it to them. Within an hour they called back and said my transmission was fine. They went through and replaced a few maintenance items and my Blown radiator which was the source of the tranny issues. All in all I saved well over $ 4,000 by using Aamco. Thanks guys.

Went in for a transmission problem. Good news is was not transmission but the differential. However they could not diagnose the problem after keeping the car 3 days. I had to pay them for their lack of knowledge and went to dealership which found and fixed the issue in a few hours for about half the cost of Aamcos fee. Would never recommend Aamco on State Street.

My transmission was leaking and slipping because of a water to tranny oil leak in my radiator. These guys rebuilt my transmission and within a day I noticed that the transmission was leaking. Over the next four months they replaced multiple pan gaskets but the leak persisted. Finally their diagnosis was the case was leaking… and it was a 2500 $ fix. basically the same price I paid for the initial rebuild. Didnt I just pay them to fix this thing??? They said this type of leak was not covered under the waranty. Never understood why I would have to pay 2x because they didnt diagnose the problem fully.
