So my girlfriend and I stopped here on a Saturday around 11 am. She was going to run in and grab a few items to go so we could take our kid to the park and have a picnic. So we looked at some pics of menus and when she got there they didn’t have the same menu, so there went the yummy sounding pizza. To bad cause it sounded good. So she asked about a few other items and the cook said they didn’t have the things to make them. Why even have a menu if you don’t have the items to make something on the menu. Finally she got tired of looking for something to order so she decided on eggrolls and taquitos. Something easy to make just so she could get out of there. As someone who has worked in the food industry I can tell you it doesnt take long to make these. So every 15 minutes she would ask about the food and the cook would tell her it was almost done. This went on for 45 minutes. Finally the owner showed up and was not very happy and told the cook to hurry up. After all is said and done it took an hour to get eggrolls and taquitos and we were shorted a few eggrolls. In the end its pretty sad because I really wanted to like this place. The pictures of there food on Unilocal looks great and I really wish my experience was trying that same food. This place has so much potential and could be a great place to go, if they get there problems worked out. I would only give them one star because of what we had to deal with, but since the owner showed up and talked to my girlfriend I will give them a two star. Maybe I just came on a bad day, who knows?

We are from Ontario, Oregon and decided to take a spontaneous drive to Boise for breakfast. We discovered this little gem on our adventure. As we walked in, the chef greeted us instantaneously. We ordered a Denver omelette and biscuits and gravy, also a hot chocolate and a mocha. While we waited the chef brought us the remote and allowed us to play whatever we wanted on the TV. Food was delivered to our table in about 10 minutes and Sam(the chef) sang a song we had chosen on YouTube as he carried our plates to the table. Extremely friendly service and he made us laugh. I really enjoyed the setting, the meal, and like I mentioned above, the service was top notch. We will definitely be returning to this location. It’s well worth the drive also.

Seriously the best mocha in Boise. A little hard to find, but so well worth it. And the smells — oh so wonderful!

I haven’t been here for a full breakfast, but one look at the menu tells me I need to change that asap! I have, however, been here on several occasions for coffee. The service is above and beyond fabulous. I was greeted upon arrival(even though there was a bit of a line) and assured that they would be with me shorty. You order at the counter and then can either wait, and take your order to-go or, after paying, have a seat and they’ll bring you your coffee. They serve Caffe D’Arte coffee(yum) and make a mean mocha. Also? Wifi is lightning fast. If you are someone who likes to get a little work done over a cuppa in a café– This. Is. Your. Place! It’s located inside the Boise TechMall(2nd floor) so they have all the technology you can wish for. No need to rely on your quickly fading battery – they have outlets absolutely everywhere. No crawling under tables and over feet in the hopes of plugging in – the plugs are counter height and totally convenient. You can even charge your phone while you’re at it. Seriously, the only place I’ve ever been that compares to the convenience of Boise TechMall for getting work done while you sip is in San Francisco. To get to the TechCafe, simply park in the Boise TechMall parking lot, enter the front doors and take the elevator(straight ahead from the front doors) to the 2nd floor. Get to it!

Chef Reit is one of the best gourmet chefs I have had the pleasure of encountering. He takes great pride in every meal he makes, and the taste is superb.
