Sandwiches are awesome, pizza is solid/​good. Salad bar is very good. Handy for lunch, price is on the high end of reasonable.

The real deal! Very good pizza, prices are reasonable. Crust done to perfection. I had a veggie pizza and it was very good. I’m in Chicago a lot and this is as good as anything they have there. Treat your family right get them a pizza from here. These guys are great!

There are two 1 star reviews I would like to point out some their BS.
The first is the pizza with the cheese on the side of the box. Everyone knows that pizza hit the floor of the car on your way home. Its happened to me. You should have paid for another pizza.
The other reviews Dev is clearly a negative person. here best review is a 3 star. whining about every little thing. Grow up.

Amazing pizza. The gluten free pizza was excellent. Great outdoor patio. Our waiter Dominic was as hot as the pizza!

Until recently, I lived just around the block from this location. Until a few months ago, I had not known the marvelous wonders of Chicago Connection. Thanks to my boyfriend though, I was introduced and it became a (sort of) regular thing for us. Because I lived close, it was always easier to get take-​out rather than to dine-​in. We usually went delivery.
I don’t recall ever having Chicago style pizza before this, which is a damn shame because cheese is like my #1 most favorite food! Whether it is classic pepperoni or a combination choice, Chicago Connection always comes through.
The crust is sturdy, but still soft and chewy. Very doughy. The toppings are plentiful and fresh, and they use just the right amount of a slightly sweet sauce. And the cheese… OHHHH the cheese. Piled high over the toppings to seal everything in perfectly. Of course we always order it cut, because I like to save myself the work. But always so good!
Maybe I’m being slightly biased because I’m craving a pie from here currently. But I will always recommend Chicago Connection!

Great Chicago style «crust forward» pizza. Sauce and toppings were perfect. The salad bar has an amazing amount of options. Great beer selection… Also perfect with Pizza.
Servers were very friendly and attentive.
All this in a bright downtown Boise location. Great place. Must visit.

We come to ChiConn after bagpipe band practice every week during the summer, because it’s nearby. But, we’ve kept coming because the service is terrific… at least this year. I am not sure who the young guy is, but he remembers what we like, seamlessly filling orders with efficiency and humor. In the past the service has been good but not like it is now. Beers on tap are great. Prices are a little high and I think the pizza is pretty much average, but again I would continue to go because of the service and location.

Great place to eat. My and the family are in Boise for the weekend and we learned about this place on Unilocal.The food was great and very affordable. The people there are very friendly. Definitely will eat here again.

I ordered the deep dish lasagna. You can pick your ingredients. I chose mushroom, olives and bell pepper. I am just staying for the weekend so have never been here before. It was very good, well seasoned and a generous portion. I probably wouldn’t order this too often as it has lasagna noodles inside the crust. Great if you’re preparing for a marathon though. My daughter had the wings which she liked. They tasted like they were char-​grilled vs. deep fried. A must try place to eat for sure.

One of my favorite local pizza chains in the world. You must, must, must try the Lasagna Pie. A carboholic’s ultimate treat, you just can’t do any better than a tasting, zesty Italian lasagna layered into a deep dish Chicago style pizza!

Purchased a Chicken Caesar salad — size large. The price was $ 8.50. TOTALLY not worth it. You get perhaps 3 cups chopped romaine, 8 croutons, and one ounce of chicken, plus Caesar dressing. The chicken tasted just like deli meat. You can get the almost the same size salad at Wendy’s for $ 1.00. This is not a large salad it is barely a side salad.
