Exotic Nails

My daughter my neice and I had a girls day out we chose exotic nails on ORCHARD HUGE MISTAKE. Out dated equipment, over priced and down right dirty joint! Even the nail polishes were out dated! Oils risen to the top 2 days later nails were popping off! Mr Tom you need to be retrained or close those doors!!!

A previous reviewer stated that she was overcharged for the services she received. That review lacked any information to back up her statement. What kind of service? Also, I want to know– was the reviewer from Boise? Or an import from somewhere where pricing is different? Those thoughts aside, here is my take on Exoctic Nails:
This little ‘hole in the wall’ can easily be passed by if you are cruising along Orchard. My friend Nancy has been going to Exotic Nails for about a year for pedicures, and this time I decided to lose my ‘pedicure virginity’ and go along. My regret is that I did not get the name of the owner, who was also the technician doing out pedicures. He is friendly and does a great job. The pedicure I got for a mere $ 27 was indeed a full service event. I went in with my callus encrusted Hobbit hooves and came out with smooth, soft and pampered feet. After you choose the base color for your toenails, you climb into an amazing chair. Big enough to handle my 250lb frame with no problem, with built in massage. ahhh. My feet, stripped of shoes and socks, dip into warm bubbling water to soften the nails. This is how it begins.
Various maintenance services are performed, the complete scrubbing and scaling (not sure it that’s the right word. but it’s what I called the amazing scrubbing that my feet received. if you’re ticklish be warned!)of my feet was indeed a joyful thing. The technician managed to make some form of sense out of my tragically ‘home butchered’ toenails. I also believe he removed a couple of calluses the size of a small child. The the massage. ahh the feet and up the legs almost to my knees. (Next time I promise I’ll shave those legs, but hey when you’re sorta blonde it’s easy to get away with a couple of weeks growth!).
I chose a polish the very color of my Smart Car. I even sprung for a couple of small decals for my big toes. Hello Kitty of course!
I was able to pass the time chatting with my friend Nancy, who was in the chair next to me. There was also a flat screen television.
For the experience I had, and the services I received, I do NOT feel that $ 27 was a huge charge. I felt that for this indulgence it was more than fair, and I could see treating my feet once a month or so– especially in the spring and summer, when I walk a lot of 5k events.
So if your tootsies could use some TLC, stop by at Exotic Nails for some pampering you won’t soon forget.

This is a small shop and the gentleman who did my nails was very friendly but I was overcharged for the service I had done.
They charged a fee to have my acrylics long! I’ve never heard of this and was very displeased. They didnt even last! ICk! dont go!
