Came into this location to get a sandwich and chips. Normally I go to the one in Nampa Idaho so figure it would be the same. To my surprise it was not, I know that this is Boise but to charge an extra 2 $ on sandwiches does not show me any consistency. I asked the lady why the difference in price and she said«we have better meat» not sure what I was eating then in Nampa, either way I leave very disappointed

This Fred Meyer is pretty reliable. It’s a quick stop for the basics. Nothing too obscure but also not low quality items that you might find elsewhere. The truly organic options are limited, so plan your stops around that. The check out lines are generally quick moving and professional.

I love Fred Myers but their meat department is terrible. My husband asked when the stuffed pork loins were prepared and the guy behind the counter said, «I don’t know but they look pretty fresh.» My husband said, «Well that’s a good answer.» Sarcastically. I told him that the last time I had gotten salmon there it was bad and that’s why we were asking. His response… «Well that’s a low blow.» Unfortunately, the employees working with the MEAT that they’re selling, have no connection to it and no desire to ask a manager when it was prepared.
