If you want to go to Mack and Charlies, I hope you have plenty of Ed Hardy apparel and a flat-​billed Yankees hat with stickers on it (or any other fair-​weather team). In short, this place sucks. But I’m going to give them two stars because they have cheap beer. Then again, everywhere in Boise has that.

Wow, this bar was great. Surly, but welcoming barstaff, great service. Music was in and out, but Voodoo Lady by Ween came on at some point, and I was sated. Beer is entirely too cheap, a buck for a PBR, and it wasn’t even happy hour. The crowd seemed cool, with even a coupla attractive ladies. Had a great experience.

We went here on a Monday night hitting up some bars. It was pretty quiet but we still had fun. Stopping here, we enjoyed some free wings and $ 1 draft domestics during Monday night football. Good wings though they took a while to cook them up. The place was pretty empty but it looked like a fun bar to visit when busy. Also a couple of pool tables and a shuffleboard, which the shuffleboard was a plus. We’ll be visiting every now and then.
