Quiznos

I have a usual way of working my way through the Boise airport. This time, my flight was later than normal, my normal bar stool was taken at the «regular» place and i wasn’t super hungry nor super thirsty.
I wandered the food court, mcD’s line too long, pizza, nah, taco place — already learned my lesson there… I saw the quiznos sign and was pondering the idea, i’m not really a quiznos fan till i saw a different sign — salad and wraps. For reals? Sweet!
So i ordered the cob, not sure what to expect. The little fellas on duty were super sweet and very very nice and welcoming –who’da thunk, at a quiznos, in the airport, in idaho — but they were!
The bowl was rather good size, the hand chop everything, including the chicken, bacon, and tomato!
I got my little bucket and headed off to my gate! Yuym! i was oooing and awing through my whole bowl, even boarded late to finish every last tidbit!
Definitely a new option for me in the boise terminal!

The Boise airport is NOT chalked full of food options. Once you get past TSA you will happen across the food court — 4 food options.
This Quiznos was no better, yet no worse than any other Quiznos. I enjoyed my 8″ Black Angus Steak Sub — it had a tad too much sauce, but it was goooood. Plenty of meat, mushrooms, cheese, and perfectly toasted wheat bread, good sub.
Another benefit is the free wireless service you can utilize while you sit and eat.
Ps. There is a little roped off area that serves as a bar, so an adult beverage can be had.
