I try not to judge a restaurant based on employee attire etc. This one was very difficult though. This particular employee took our order today at around 3pm. It was jaw dropping that any employee can get away with wearing this? I can say that despite the taste of the food, I don’t want to subject my teenage daughter to viewing this, nor do I want her thinking that is acceptable for any girl, or woman for that matter, to wear. I honestly hope the owner will see this and make some changes to employee attire policies.

Too bad the wait staff is rude and pushy… Went there this morning for a Mother’s Day treat with my in laws. The woman who took our order was very rude, not helpful and acted like she just wanted to push us along. Zero tip for her. Plus an older gentleman brought my mocha out when I was getting my baby a blanket and gave attitude to my husband and In laws. If you like pretty good crepes with a side of attitude this is your place. Unfortunately, I can’t stand rude service so we will not be back! Also cramped and small. Not impressed.

U can never go wrong with ordering one of thier sweet dessert crepes– chocolate lovers, nutella banana and strawberry Crepes are my favorite. However, the last time I ordered LA Provence the sun-dried tomatoes were burnt(isn’t it already sun-dried ?) and so was the chicken. Another time, I felt that the Thai crêpe stuffing was kinda dried up(wasn’t Saucy). Right now I am just sticking with ordering dessert crepes to-go. Hopefully next time I will have a better experience.

We love this place! We usually order the same everytime spicy salmon & something sweet the tres delish. I actually don’t like that they serve it on a paper plate but I guess it’s good coz its a like a serve yourself laid back setting. The food is great but a lil bit expensive for a crêpe! We still come back though!

I wish i could rate this place with zero… Extremely rude waiter he is so aggressive and while we were drinking our coffee and talking he started to yell that this is not a place that you can seat and talk! He is absolutely a weird guy… Dont go there folks …

It is the worse place I have ever been in Boise so far. The waiter was extremely rude. He kicked one lady out while she was drinking her coffee. You would probably prefer a place to relax on a nice sunny weekend day, not to get stressed while having your coffee ! It is highly not recommended

This place is awesome. Gluten free crepes and off all the savory options(about 20), the meatball crêpe was the only one I couldn’t have. I had the Thai crêpe and my friend had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and both were fabulous. Their plain drip coffee us absolutely wonderful. Not too bitter but very smooth and flavorful. We will be going back to try more of the savory crepes and will definitely try one of the sweet crepes. The décor is wonderful as well. Well done!

Great place to eat or wait around for your movie to start. Outstanding service. Restaurant owners actually work here and serve their customers! Chris(one of the owners) noticed I didn’t purchase a drink and after I got my amazing crêpe came up to me with a courtesy cup of water. The food The food is great and the employees are ready and eager to help. I usually eat he crepes here but they offer more than crepes and for those warm summer days they also offer ice cream. The establishment Always clean. Employees take pride in their work environment and keep it tidy and clean. Plenty of room for friends and family to side with each other for a decent period of time before a movie begins.

I’ve really enjoyed this place… The crepes here have been great… Simple yet very satisfying, HOWEVER, today I ordered two Argentines«to go» and was sadly disappointed… I was planning on sharing the two Argentines with my wife after my 4 hour drive home from Boise as part of celebrating her first week on a new job… The Argentine is supposed to have«Brazilian dulce de leche» on the outside and inside, but neither Argentine crêpe had any dulce de leche inside. It was such a huge let down! My Brazilian wife was incredibly disappointed and I was embarrassed… Both crepes were thrown in the trash… What good is crêpe that is supposed to have dulce de leche when there wasn’t a single drop of dulce de leche inside? If I wasn’t 260 miles away, I’d take them back and ask for a refund… Thanks for nothing!

The food was really good but I am a celiac. when I asked if he had gluten free he said yes everything except for two items was gluten free and I asked about the pans that the crêpe is cooked on he said he cleans it and said something about. because it’s so hot that it burns off any gluten on it. I never heard that before. I never seen the pan before so I tried it and it made me sick. I went back to tell him that I was sick because of cross-contamination I’m sure. .he’s very kind but said that he had never had said anything to him… that doesn’t mean that nobody else got sick so please if you’re celiac it’s probably not a good thing to eat there those that choose just to be gluten-free would have no problem eating there. Lesson learned for me.

Absolutely delicious! Perhaps the best I have ever had. Mediterranean was AMAZING as was the banana/Nutella dessert crêpe that we had to try.

Can’t really speak for the brick and mortar location but their booth at the Saturday market is pretty great. Lines and wait times can get pretty long but there’s lots to do and see to bide your time between ordering and getting your crêpe. I typically get the turkey artichoke which is delicious. I tried the salmon today and that was equally yummy.

I love this place. I have tried a different crêpe every time I come here and have yet to be disappointed. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars was that it can take a little while to get your crêpe. But it has been worth the wait so far every time

Loved this place since it first opened. The crepes are delicious and well priced, the employees are nice and work as fast as they can(it is usually really busy so it can be a little of a wait). But since I first came here there have been a few changes… Sort of recently they switched to paper plates and plastic forks. I don’t mind them, they just make it a little less classy and«Frenchy» than it once was. But the plastic forks are a huge problem for me. I’ve never finished a crêpe with my fork still in once piece, they break way too easily! The booths are made for 1.5 normal sized people(or maybe 2 children) each side and there’s almost no room to expand the table for a group larger than 4. There are plugs right on the table so if you want to hangout a while you’ll never run out of power! I love seeing the art for sale, all of it’s really good(if a little overpriced). The movie trailer people inside and outside the shop are extremely annoying. Being asked before I come in AND after I come in, if I want to watch movie trailers for money is 2 too many times to be asked. From what I’ve heard of the movie trailer scheme is that it is a waste of time/a scam. No matter how many times you ask I will always say no. All the new stuff aside, at the heart of The Creperie is great employees and yummy food. I will always go back and recommend this place.

I got the chicken Ma Province crêpe and it was really good. The pesto was too much and it tasted just like Costcos pesto, but that’s neither here nor there. The best part is whatever they cook the chicken in before putting it in the crêpe. That really took it over the top. My friend got a strawberry Nutella crêpe. I mean, it is a strawberry Nutella crêpe. Could have used more strawberries but it was still good. The service was awkward. Kinda stood there awhile not knowing what to do because no one seemed to care that I was ready to order. And they use paper plates and plastic utensils. That’s just a waste, a literal waste. I would come back here for savory crepes but probably skip on sweet.

Stopped in for a snack before going to a movie. They have a good selection of crepes. We ordered a Strawberry Blintz Crêpe. It had a cheesecake flavored sauce that was quite good but just average crêpe over all. Only 3 stars because the place is cluttered. I don’t mind eclectic but is it necessary to have 100+ Nutella jars everywhere and a mish-mash of all décor. And, the cashier was nice but he was eating on the line as he prepped. That’s a big no-no in my food service experience.

I took my mother and daughter here on Easter Sunday for a pre-movie treat. We’d never tried this place before, but we’re glad it was open on a holiday and could provide a quick snack prior to the show. COULD is the operative word. Granted, when we entered we were assaulted with a mishmash of random things to purchase(including art on the walls, candy bars, and cheaply made trilby hats — which I don’t even pretend to understand), in addition to a rather large menu. In my opinion, too large. I asked a simple question as to whether their Citron crêpe(lemon sauce, powdered sugar, & crêpe) was overtly sweet, or more a balance of sweet and tart. The woman behind the counter must have been newer, because she wasn’t sure and kept having to ask her co-worker –an incredibly terse man named Courtney– about the lemon sauce. She, the woman(her name tag read«Chef»), did attempt to try to give me a small sample spoon of the lemon sauce to try, but Courtney just looked at me and said, «It’s sweet. But not too sweet.» I asked Chef what her favorites were and she recommended a Nutella strawberry crêpe and a strawberry cheesecake crêpe. I chose the Cheesecake Strawberry crêpe, my daughter the S’more, and my mother inexplicably chose a Stroganoff Meatball crêpe. One plus: they offer Gluten-Free crepes. My mom has a legitimate gluten allergy, so we didn’t mind the $ 2 upcharge. Minor gripe: I paid for an xl soda(they have 4 or 5 sizes & prices of Bev cups displayed by the register), but Chef have me a small and said they only have 1 size and it’s refillable. Ok, then take the somewhat mangled looking cup display down, and charge me for the right item. But, I let it slide. It didn’t seem worth the frustration(as she was clearly trying her best to be helpful, and I don’t need the 50 cent –or whatever it is-difference that badly). What I minded was Courtney’s attitude. I understand that it was a holiday, and they were open, and it was slow; all things that can make someone in the service industry grumpy. But, it’s the service industry: don’t take it out on your customer. My major complaint: Courtney walked over to the crêpe griddles(which are on display so you can watch them made –a bonus in my kid’s eyes) to start preparing them, but then walked into the back prep area. I assumed it was to get items needed for our crepes. Ok, no biggie. A couple who had entered after us were trying to order, and Chef kept needing Courtney to clarify things for her. So, he’d walk away from the griddle again and again. Ok, she’s new, needs help, I get it. That’s ok. But, a good five minutes pass before he even touches the griddle or Crêpe batter. Now, we’d entered with 30 minutes to spare before the movie starts. We now had 15, and nothing had been started. I politely asked how long it took to prepare the crepes we’d chosen. Courtney’s response, in a nasty tone, was that they took time to prepare. «This isn’t fast food.(Note: I didn’t imply it was.). I have to clean the griddles.(Note: Why wouldn’t you clean them after you’d cooked the last ones?).» I politely stated that we needed to catch a movie in 15 minutes, and if that was an issue. Courtney’s response, in an even more gruff tone, «Well, there’s 20 minutes of previews, so I don’t know why you’re worried.» I may be wrong(I don’t think so), but if you have a small crêpe shop, supported by the patron traffic of a movie complex, you’d expect that people may want their items in less than 20 minutes. All of the items in our crepes were pre-prepped, there was nothing overly time-consuming, and it was really just this guys crap attitude and general malaise that slowed things down. There is a crêpe stand operated at local Farmer’s Markets(I believe by a different company, can’t recall the name), that creates gourmet level crepes, with fresh fillings, in less than 2 or 3 minutes each(and that’s with 2 people in a little booth getting slammed). I don’t see how this guy couldn’t do it in less than 15. To be fair, the crepes were pretty good. The Kid felt like her Nuttella S’mores crêpe needed more chocolate, but it was actually well-balanced and had great texture variation. My Strawberry Cheesecake crêpe wasn’t overly sweet. It had fresh berries sliced and placed intently throughout. It would have benefitted from a touch of citrus, but I can’t complain about it much. I didn’t touch Mom’s stroganoff crêpe because, well, yeah… Just no. But, she liked it, and the GF batter didn’t seem to make a large difference in the texture or integrity of the crêpe itself. Honestly, for $ 22& change(with the soda & tip) for 3 people it wasn’t a bad deal. If I were able to order ahead, or knew there were non-surly apathetic people working at a specific time I would consider visiting here again if I got a sweet tooth pang. However, I was put off by the décor and the persistent«meh» attitude of Courtney, so it sort of soured the whole thing for me.
