Staff is disorganized to get people a table. Young waiters who doesn’t pay attention to the empty tables. Poor management and poor customer service. Don’t eat here… you’ll be dissappointed.

This restaurant is like a smaller version of Wild Berries. Food quality is great and excellent customer service.

Been there a bunch of times, the food is good and service is friendly. I recommend as always very early when they just open or late when the big crowds are gone otherwise you’ll stand there for a while. The torpedo burger one of my favorites. Sometimes the fries that come with it are a bit cold apart from that no complaints at all.

Every restaurant has their off days but this place is disgusting. Seriously, you are better off going to McDonalds or Wendy’s. Our server was really good and no issues –it’s the only reason this place is getting a 1 star, because of the server. The food was terrible and instantly made me sick… I specifically asked for no butter to be cooked in with my skillet(I watched the server write this) but obviously the careless«chefs» in the back decided otherwise. I’m not much of complainer but when I ask for something to not be put into my food I kind of expect it since this restaurant is claiming to not be like a fast food joint… Clearly dropped the ball on that one considering they were too lazy to whip up some extra hash browns and veggies without it. I also asked for avocado and got guac… Again, laziness… Bathrooms were horrendous– it was like stepping into a port-a-John :/ugh, so gross… Made me want to take my chances on squatting in a bush outside. Also, $ 40 for two skillets, cup of coffee and small glass of oj? You are out of your mind … We are not in Chicago(where I would actually get quality service and way more bang for my buck @ that price). It’s a bit unfortunate to actually see this place starting to suck since my husbands family is pretty close to the owners… Oh well, good luck on running the place– I will most def not be back or recommend anyone here.

Where do I begin with this one? I am not a frequent Unilocal reviewer, but my first and last visit to this breakfast spot forced me to write. If you read the reviews, which I did prior to visiting, you see mostly poor reviews or great ones, which seemed odd. My daughter wanted to try this restaurant, though I mentioned reading reviews that were less than favorable. We had a coupon, though when I showed it to the hostess; she said we could not use it on the weekend, though there is no mention of it on the coupon. When asked why, she just said«that’s what the manager tells us to say». We waited more than 10 minutes for coffee. I finally got up and asked group of women at hostess station if someone could get me a cup. They were busy applying lotion, so I figured they had more time than our waitress(who was friendly). Once we ordered, it seemed to take longer than most breakfast places for our food to arrive. My top pancake was crispy. Eggs(spinach/feta omelette) fine. Though we didn’t have enough silverware. We had no ketchup, syrup or hot sauce. Food continued to cool until we had these«extras». We noticed a few fruit flies, odd because it was freezing cold and snowing outside. I think what bothered me most is that while we waited for everything, we noticed so many people standing around doing nothing except talking, or watching, TV. I thought for a moment that maybe the restaurant was closing soon. I had the feeling that people were waiting for the few diners there to leave so they could swing into action. But no, they were going to be open a few more hours. I know this is a harsh review, but I’ve been a server. I’ve been a manager. The crew here needs training in efficiency and customer service. Anyone of the many staff members standing around could have walked through the room offering coffee. The manager could have checked in on guests to see if anything was needed. Instead, I saw a lot of people wasting time while we sat and waited… the one thing I did like, the forks. Once we all had one, I notice the heft and design of the silverware, which I did enjoy. I mentioned to my daughter that businesses need to care more about first impressions. Ours was poor and we won’t be back.

We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch for close to 2 years. It has always been fantastic food and mostly service except for today. I substituted cheese on my skillet for feta cheese and when we got the bill my skillet was $ 4 more! It would be great if our server told us about this up-charge before we placed our orders, knowing it, I would have made another choice. She took the bill and talked to the owner and he didn’t do anything! All she said is ‘my fault, sorry about that’. We’re very disappointed on how we were treated and I’m not sure if we’ll be back.

The food is good and there are a lot of wonderful options on the menu, but the customer service is horrible. I brought my mother for her birthday and had a terrible experience. Not only did the server mess up our order and forget to bring silverware, but he couldn’t even tell whose omelette was whose when he was asked. I have a zucchini allergy and I was given the wrong plate. We waited about 50 minutes for our meal to arrive. After we received the bill, we noticed we were charged for several items without notice. He failed to explain the hidden up-charges in the menu. He charged us for pancakes that were not labeled in the menu as specialty pancakes. He never explained that the substituted turkey sausages were more expensive. And the food mix up and pricing issue wasn’t the primary problem. When we calmly and respectfully inquired about the pricing discrepancy, I was told that it was common sense and I should have known. Then, when I asked to speak to the manager, he told me that his server had been with him for a year and a half, that he knows the server would have explained it, and that he trusts his guy. Not only did the server and the manager fail to validate my legitimate complaint, but the manager chose to support his employee and minimize his customers concerns. I’ve been here once before and had a positive experience previously. After today, I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning. Visit at your own risk.

Food is just meh to be this pricey. Been here 3x since it has opened, staff is more interested in socializing. Manager walks around and talks to customers but never our table/booth. Pass on this place and drive further to Tasty Waffle.

Solid breakfast place. Ordered the eggs with a side of gyro($ 5 for a not so plentiful portion of gyro) and was not disappointed. The soup(beef barley) was quite good. The others in my party chose various omelettes that they seemed to enjoy. The portions were quite generous with the hashbrowns and the pancake side was also nice. It was not too busy the day I went, so we were there like 40 minutes total which is how I like it.

This breakfast/lunch place is crowed and a popular. Even though there were many people waiting for a seat on a Sunday morning, the wait went quickly. That’s a positive. Our server Nicole was friendly and checked on us frequently. Another positive. My complaint and low rating is because it took over 30 minutes to get my egg white omelette and side of bacon, as well as my husband’s breakfast. It wasn’t our server’s fault. She said the kitchen mixed up the tix. I could have made that same breakfast quicker at home. The low rating was for the long wait for our food and the lack of a manager presence when I wanted to bring this to his attention. He was there when we arrived and disappeared, no checking on tables and customers. I don’t think I’ll be back with other more efficient breakfast places near my home.

This is my favorite breakfast place in the Romeoville/Bolingbrook area. The portions are huge and the food is delicious. Coffee is good and plentiful. They really know how to cook eggs and they always come out the way you order them. Pancakes and skillets are both excellent as well. Delicious.

This is a great breakfast place with great service. I had the Mediterranean omelette and it was perfect. Hash browns were really good as well. I didn’t care too much for the chunky monkey pancakes, but the chocolate chip pancakes were pretty good. Coffee is great and fresh here as well! Will be trying the Naperville location next to see if its as good as this location.

I will say that on my first trip here, I just ordered the wrong thing. I put this place to the«Great Steak and Egg Challenge» and let me say, it is the best to be found in the area! My strip steak came lightly seasoned, and a perfect rare. Over easy eggs done just right, and a pile of thinly shredded hash browns rounded out the meal. Not a complaint to be had. I am very happy to put this place on my rotation of breakfast favorites.

Run of the mill type of breakfast place. Nice that it’s not a huge franchise, but still only slightly better than something like an IHOP. The menu options and layout are extensive, lots of choice. From skillets to pancakes to omelets, they cover it. However, the food quality isn’t as high as it could be. Ingredients are cheaper and the plates tastes are safely conservative like a plain egg that avoids all dietary complication possibilities. A highlight is the service. Everyone is very friendly. For a Saturday morning the last thing you want to run into is a grumpy cat. None here! Smiley, courteous, and patient. Lovely folks.
