California German Shorthaired Pointer Rescue

It has been almost two years since we rescued our first GSP (German Short Haired Pointer)…
Everyday I’m so glad I found this rescue… when I see my boy…
I have never safeguarded a dog before…
This is a thorough rescue… located in the country off a country road in Bonsall… Complete with phone interviews… interview questionnaires, meetings at the rescue to see if you or the dog will be a compatible match… they even request you bring your other dog/​dogs to see if the dogs will be compatible… They have a short training seminar onsite the day you come out to meet your future family member and friend.
Whether you need to relinquish ownership of your pointer, due to unforeseen reasons., like for example, our dog’s owner died… or you are looking to help a four legged friend…
Our pointer gives us so much more than what we could ever give him. Regardless, to the fact we gave him a new great second half of his life…
This rescue is amazing… they maintained and accommodated us pertaining to a few snags we had during the adjustment of our newest family member… Initially we had immersion concerns that we encountered with our other dogs…
The rescue gave us training tips that worked miracles… in the end… everything worked out fine… and can’t imagine our lives without our boy… Our other dogs even have a new brother…
I love this rescue… and I love our GSP
I am so thankful for the work that they do and will support them whenever I can…

Here is some cost information from the GSP website… regarding adoption donations…
$ 400: Puppies (under 1 year old)
$ 300: Adults age 1 – 10 years
$ 250: Seniors age 10+ years
All dogs are altered, vaccinated, micro-​chipped, and come with a warranty contract which provides lifetime training and support.
They also took a picture of us all at the rescue with our newest family member… It was a very special day for us all… A day I will remember forever…
