It sounds kinda dirty, but one of the kniftiest things you can do in Boone is Howard’s/Howard Knob. Just getting up there is like a roller coaster’s ascent and not for the weak stomached. It’s a free little park where you can picnic, hang out, and take in the amazing views of Boone down below. REcomended!
