Would never go back to this place ever. Went in for a blowout(Wash & Blow-Dry) and not only did it take almost two hours but it took so long because the woman I had would not stop TALKING. She was talking about the most unprofessional topics and it was mainly to her coworkers the entire time. She would stop doing my hair to turn and talk to a co-worker. I just wanted my hair done, I have long hair but not excessively long and I knew it would take close to an hour but there’s no reason for the crazy amount of time she spent doing other things. I don’t care about you sleeping around or what you do in your spare time and I certainly don’t want to hear it coming out of my hair dresser’s mouth! When the agonizing time was finally over and I went up to the register she told me it was $ 42… AREYOUKIDDINGME. $ 42 for a blow-out, no hair cut. Next time I will be sure to spend my money somewhere else that will be more professional, a lot less time, and not overpriced. I didn’t go to a high class salon for a reason because I didn’t want to spend a lot of money– looks like I did anyways!

Although I received a decent haircut, I had to endure listening to the hairdresser talk about everything from her daughters breast size and the fact that she received them from HER side of the family, something about her friend telling her she drinks too much but her response to her friend was«I’m not alone in this, why would there be a liquor store on every corner of the state» to me telling her I was going to TX and she interrupted me to say«Bring me home a cowboy, he can leave his boots under my bed any time»…SERIOUSLY, this was her PROFESSIONAL conversation with someone she has never met before… me. To top it off, I had an appt at 3pm, I was early and waited for her arrival as her shift started at 3. She mosey’d in at 3pm… found out I was waiting for her but she decided to rummage thru her purse, read sticky notes she had in it, tend to her cell phone, RESPOND to texts and THEN disappeared to the back room to eat a banana. The girl at the front desk yelled back to her«You know this client is waiting for you, right?»…she said«Yes, but I have to eat something first»…WOW. By the end of the appointment when it was time to pay, she messed up something on the computer and two other gals came to help her and then one of the gals said«$ 40.00» to me… I was taken back at the price only because the sign read a #3 is 28.00 and up… a number #3 is a wash, cut and blow dry(a number 2, just a wash and cut… no blow dry, I believe was $ 21.00)…so I was charged an additional 19 dollars to walk out with DRYHAIR? Its SUPERCUTS for gods sake. When I asked why it was $ 40.00, the gal that did not do my hair but threw the price at me said«Because your hair goes past your shoulders and thats what we charge»…the look on the other stylists faces was OBVIOUS mild shock… both of them would NOT have charged me $ 40.00. But I gladly paid it and gave the gal a 10.00 tip which was certainly more than she deserved if I took into account her lack of professionalism despite the haircut. Will I go there again? No. For an additional 10 to 20 dollars I can go to a more professional, non chain and upscale salon. But like I said, and for what its worth, she did give me a decent haircut.

I made an appointment for 3pm last Sunday. When I got there I was told there was one person a head of me. I live only a few minutes away and arrived on time. I waited for the person in the chair to get done and then two more people went until it was my turn. What is the point of making an appointment if your not going to honor it. I asked what happened and why I had to wait so long and was told; he had no idea what I was talking about. So I guess he couldn’t count either. To Wait 45 minutes when I had an appointment is unacceptable. I will never go back.

So these places are always hit or miss, the good thing is that they’re typically open when other barbers /salon’s aren’t open. I actually got a really good haircut by Jenn so I’d certainly go back, the problem is whenever you go to return the good people are normally onto their next salon. For $ 14 you at least get a clean facility even if the haircuts can be a gamble.
