I drove out there with me mum last weekend. We enjoyed this place with its quiet, wooded setting. It was easy to find. They are on the north side of Church Rd. and are just across the road kitty-corner from Frank Ave. Look for a white blueberry sign, then you drive down a long gravel driveway and cross a wooden bridge over a picturesque creek and pull into a fenced parking area. Unfortunately, parking is limited and we had to wait for a space to open up before we could park but that is not always the case. We’ve been there several times. The blueberry bushes were loaded and we picked 25 lbs. in less than 2 hours but this was early picking in mid July and the berries vary with the time of season. They don’t furnish buckets to pick in so you will have to bring your own. A large coffee can or small bucket attached to a rope or belt you can tie around your waist frees up both hands to pick with and works well. They had a porta potty in the corner of the field, something most places don’t have. The folks there were friendly and helpful. The gentleman even helped me carry the blueberries to the car so my mom didn’t have to. They charged 25 cents per lb. less than Orient Nursery on Haley Rd. where we always used to go. We also u-picked peaches there, mainly Suncrest I think. They have several varieties in the orchard. Trees are low and easy to pick.
