Beautifully designed library at the center of the HBS campus. This is one of the few big landmarks for tourists visiting the business school as well as a quiet study place for students. Contrary to its name, the Baker Library is not commonly used as a library. Many students prefer to hold group meetings here because the library does not enforce its quiet policy very strictly.

As of August 23, 2011 — My Unilocal profile has been viewed 40814 times. Now if I had a nickel for each time my profile has been viewed I would have a million dollars. It’s obvious my math skills are extremely sharp and since I am so smart I should hang with others just as brilliant as me. I head off to the Harvard Business School to hang out with my fellow Mensa peers and spend an entire afternoon in the library. For five hours I sat in here on a hot, humid and rainy day in July of 2009. This was the perfect escape from my boring hotel room down the road and the prime spot to get my blood flowing and drill through spreadsheets and crumpled faxes and get some serious work done. I don’t know what it is, but the wifi here seems just a bit faster than most. For a library, it is well lit and plenty of hidden nooks to sit in complete privacy and pretend you are in your final semester of your Ivy League MBA education. I may not be a graduate of Harvard, but our school colors are close. They being crimson and we being cardinal, but in the end isn’t it just red?
