I was requested from one of my friends. The place is really outstanding and awesome for us. The location is easy and decorated. The location is so close to my staying. But for long time I did not come here. This is great place and full of delicious food items. I will be back to the place again.

I come here for the lamb burgers and they are the best! It’s fresh lamb hand made patty with basic topping for lettuce, tomatoes, onions and your favorite condiments. It’s pretty big and comes on a nice big roll. Customer service is fast and friendly. The owner(I assume) is super nice and offers a free(generous) sample of ice cream to his customers(I’ve notice he’ll ask the ladies first for a taste test :) What a nice gentlemen! The pizza is also very good too. It has a nice crust and stands on it’s own. I would recommend giving this place a shot and definitely get a lamb burger, french fries(extra .75 cents) and water… all for under $ 10. Worth a shot!

Good prices. Wife loved the pancakes. I ordered a burger but question if it was even beef. It was so seasoned my mouth is still burning 10 after my last bite. I did not finish the burger which never happens. Grilled cheese was awesome my 6yo son says(it’s not on the menu). Another party complaining about the questionable burger as I write this. 8yo says great pizza. Fries were decent.

Eh. Nothing special. Grabbed the falafel roll-up for $ 7. I walked in 10 minutes before closing time. The wait staff decided to clean up their work stations and close up the registers before endeavoring to make my sandwich. I overheard one staffer remind the other to make my sandwich. Sandwich was fine, albeit a bit mushy. It contained two rather large falafel balls(yay!) but the lettuce was wilted and the hummus tasted bland.(BOO!) I wish they told me before they handed over the sandwich that it came toasted. I would have objected. Pressing the sandwich made the veggies mushy and flavorless. Overall, nothing special, and nothing too awful happened. It appears to be a bit of a tourist trap. I was also overwhelmed by the menu presentation: some things were on the chalk board, other items were advertised by a hanging bulletin board, and others were on another black board, partially obstructed.

Working in the government center area, there is no shortage of lunch options, so I like to try new places when I can. Noticed Big Guy’s when I was having Subway one afternoon so I went back to try it. Menu-wise, there is definitely something to be said for that«house of pizza» type of menu when so many things around here are chains. Sometimes you just want a sub or a slice of pizza. Unfortunately, I did not see subs on the giant chalkboard wall that is the BG menu. Fortunately, I did see wraps, pizza, and paninis(my autocorrect is informing me that the plural of panini is panini… but I like to live on the edge). As a fiend for fresh melty mozzarella, I was sold on the chicken pesto panini. Quick service from friendly employees and a bathroom for patrons add points; OVEREIGHTDOLLARSFOR A PANINIWITHNOCHIPS, DRINK, or even an APPLE included, the cleanliness of the bathroom, and the extreme lack of mozz on my panini detract. Flavor was decent, seasoned chicken a tad dry but still good, great pesto and great bread, fresh tomato, but seriously if they put any less cheese on there just wouldn’t be any. That was a disappointment for me, especially at close to $ 10 for a single sandwich from a subshop/pizza place/grill. Might come back for a slice but that’s probably it.

The specials posted on the board outside was not what they tried to charge me inside. A burger with fries was $ 6.90, they tried to charge me over $ 9 inside. You can not point that out to them inside because they pretend they do not understand you. I went there to try them out and will not go back again. There are plenty of other good options in the area.

So, after another Friday of making the mistake of buying cold, overprice food at Quincy Market, I was walking along and decided I wanted to get some falafel to try and salvage lunch. I saw the sign at Big Guy’s specifically advertising it, and figured it must be at least decent to try and make it a selling point. Getting inside, I notice they have a huge board of all their offerings, but didn’t see anything that mentioned individual pieces or even a side order. Taking my chances, I asked the woman behind the counter directly if I could buy individual pieces. She tells me that can be done and that she’ll toss in some tahini on the side for no charge. I only bought three but she gave me four and was immensely pleasant the whole time. At $ 2.25($ 0.75/e) I was by no means a profitable customer, but she still gave me excellent service and went out of her way to speak with me while I waited for the order to be ready and to invite me to come back to try their other offerings. I can’t speak much to the overall food quality(the falafel and tahini were good though), but that level of friendliness and service is not something you see often, particularly in the tourist areas of Boston.

I got the BG Wrap, was not impressed with the wrap or any the service. It was lunch time, not busy, and there were plenty of people there to help but I was just pushed along as fast as they could move. The wrap wasn’t great, ingredient wise and fell apart when I got half way done.

I went in for lunch today only because I left my wallet at home and I saw that they accepted LevelUp(after spending most of my lunch hour searching for a place that did). I ordered a beef burger and fries, and I was pretty disappointed. The beef burger had a very eggy taste, like maybe they hadn’t cleaned the grill off thoroughly after cooking breakfast. The fries were OK, but I could probably find the same thing in any cafeteria. If I ever go back(doubtful), I will most likely get something that doesn’t have to be grilled. I gave it two stars because they did accept LevelUp and they were very friendly, and a third star because I saved $ 2 from using LevelUp there for the first time.

I had a very delicious and quite large greek wrap with chicken. I have eaten in here a couple of times but I was particularly impressed today. It is worth checking this place out for a quick bite for lunch.

I always walk by this place and today I did it as I decided to just go eat at Subway. but this time I thought of checking out the menu and walked on it. and then I got really excited because it seemed like a great find — and it was! I teach Zumba classes all around Boston and travel from place to place. I often look for inexpensive but healthy good meals to keep me going. Today I had the omelette that came with everything in it that I could ever want, home fries, and wheat toast. for $ 5. It was really refreshing to be able to have breakfast for dinner and it was made to order and came out so hot, fresh, and tasty. I told them I would surely be coming back for me — I will have to try the other stuff. I’m interested in the mediterranean wraps which also sounded great so maybe I’ll have to try that next. :)

Got a lamb and beef wrap. Lamb was chewy, and had a bunch of trimmings, with the lettuce and dressing it was just gross. And you want $ 8 for it? My second and last time coming here.

Meh. There is definitely something missing in the food here. Salt maybe? This is near my office and it always calls to me when the food truck lines are long. However, they take a long time with the wraps, and it’s just not tasty enough to wait. People have recommended the pizza, but I haven’t tried it.

I walk by this place every day on my way to work but never thought much of it. Unfortunately it seems I was correct in my initial judgment. I hopped in today because there was a free lunch special, but I was underwhelmed even having payed nothing for my food. The sandwiches and pizza may be phenomenal– I wouldn’t know. It’s Passover so I was only able to get a Greek salad and«fresh fruit» to complement my bagged lunch. The salad was literally made from sandwich toppings(finely shredded iceberg lettuce does not a salad make) and was on the small side. The«fresh fruit» came in a small plastic drinking cup and consisted only of under-ripe cantaloupe and honeydew chunks. Those 2 items together would have run over $ 10 without the promotion. The poor guy running the joint seemed to have his hand in everything, frantically trying to keep everyone happy. The whole operation seemed slow and disorganized. In sum, «A» for effort, but I anticipate a new business will take its place soon.

My salad was good. The grilled chicken was done perfectly. I would ask for my dressing on the side next time but my sister and her husband love the pizza here. Worth trying!

This place used to be a pizza and sub shop but it went out of business. Now it’s reopened with a new owner and an expanded repertoire of food and drink. I’ve developed a very unexpected but exciting crush on this latest incarnation. They are aiming to please and so far, they’re doing a wonderful job of serving good food quickly and affordably with pleasant and attentive service. Smack dab in Government Center in the Sears’ Crescent Building, this place has a pretty convenient downtown Boston location. For anyone working in or just passing through this busy area, it’s a great choice for morning or afternoon fare. Although a bit non-descript from the outside, once you walk through the doors it feels bright and welcoming. There are colorful chalkboard menus with a variety of breakfast and lunch options listed. l do love a nicely executed chalkboard menu, by the way. While many of the choices involve meat which I don’t eat, there are several things I’ve been able to order which have been quite tasty. There are a few tables at which to sit(free Wifi too) but it seems a lot of the business is take-out. They sell a variety of coffees and teas including chai latte, café au lait, cappuccino, and macchiato. The coffee they use is locally roasted and it’s really delicious. This wins big points with me. The coffee is so good that this is now a regular morning stop for me for a cup to go. They don’t have a soy milk option right now but I’m thinking I should just ask them about it, because they seem so accommodating, they just might start to offer it for those of us who prefer to put that in our coffee. I’ve had a couple of their breakfast sandwiches which I’ve enjoyed. Most recently I got egg, roasted vegies and feta on a sesame bagel. Yummy, although next time I’ll ask for the bagel to be toasted. But there are other breakfast choices including omelets, pancakes and baked goods all of which I look forward to trying. Some of the lunch items I’ve tried include the tomato, basil and mozzarella panini… onto which they add not just fresh basil leaves but they also slather on some delicious pesto, the falafel. also very good, and roasted veggies in pita… fab. All of these items are made to order and have been flavorful and fresh. They’re trying hard here and as far as I’m concerned it’s paying off. I like this place and really hope they do well. Yes, I’m a fan.
