Unfortunately, Bustonian did not live up to it’s overall rating. We hired Bustonian for a wedding and the air conditioning broke. In sweltering 90+ degree weather and humidity, this poses a serious issue, given that the bridesmaids were also in make-up and the groomsmen were in suits. As a result of the broken AC, their resolution was to open the windows. You’d think that they would get another bus to come immediately, especially given the high cost and the importance of the date. On a positive note, the bus driver was a kind guy and courteous. I’d highly recommend seeking another service, especially if it’s as important as a wedding. No compensation was offered. Instead, they requested additional costs.

HORRENDOUS. My sister rented a party bus for her wedding, possibly the most important day of her life! She confirmed to make sure that they had air conditioning, since her big day was in mid-August. She told them this was very important. On Saturday, it was sweltering. The central air at my parents’ house broke, so our only solace was getting on this bus to cool off. When the bus arrived, the driver said the AC was broken! SOUNACCEPTABLE. The groomsmen were picked up first, and they arrived to the church drenched in sweat on a very uncomfortable bus. When it came back to pick us up for round 2, the driver said the AC started working, but very minimally. It was absolutely disgusting on the bus, and the heat made us nauseous. RUINED my sister’s wedding day. They also tried to cheat us as they told my sister it was a rate of $ 650 for the bus, but then the driver said she owed them $ 200 more… ridiculous.

This is my first time Unilocaling because I have to voice how satisfied I am with the services the Bustonian provided. I’ve never planned a party bus so I didn’t know what to expect but from the first day I called to set it up, Matt, who I believe is the owner, was extremely helpful. Matt and our driver Tom took care of everything including skipping a line and not paying a cover at multiple bars. The bus was extremely clean and picking up and dropping off was wicked easy. This is a great company run by great people and if your planning a party bus in Boston, look no further than the Bustonian. Can’t wait to book another bus in the near future.

This company is so unprofessional. We got to our 2nd destination and 2 out of 28 people weren’t allowed in so we all got back on the bus to go somewhere else. The driver decided to be extremely rude and tell us we were done and didn’t let us keep our reservation until 2am even though we paid until then. We will NEVER book with this company again!

We planned a scavenger hunt with the help of the owner Matt from the Bustonian. It was a huge success! We had the Miss and our other friends had the 80’s bus. The bus drivers were very professional and made sure we got to all the hot spots on our list. They were on time and both buses were very clean. I would highly recommend this company.

This is an amazing service! The bus that we had was cool — everyone in our party said — Whoa this is a lot nicer than we expected(not sure what they were expecting — a school bus maybe?). Sound system was kickin’ and the sparkly ceiling was a nice touch too. Everything was totally perfect for our event. John did a great job as a driver with our rowdy crowd. He was a complete professional and really looked out for us. I can’t wait until my next birthday so I can use these guys again…

Funny how Unilocal filters out all the negative reviews for this company. Then when you get through the«captcha» you find out that the descriptive details regarding the negative reviews have been removed. Very deceptive.

It was 6pm on a Friday night and my friends and I were ready to forget the work week. However, it was a damn chilly night and we were dreading the typical 2am cab hunt of walking around the city for an hour in painful heals, freezing our nips off, and sobering up in the worst way possible. Our solution: Party bus! After doing some research and calling around, we came across the Bustonian. We gave them a call and within 10 minutes we had scheduled a pick up, some bars to stop at, and had all the details figured out, all with very competitive pricing. We were picked up right on schedule and the 15 of us had an AMAZING time. Our bus driver, Jimmy, was awesome. He was so accommodating, had ideas of where we should go, called around to see if we could skip lines/bypass covers, and magically showed up out of nowhere the second we called him. The music was bumpin’, the stripper poll was in use, and from what we can recall it was an all-around glorious night. On top of it all, we received a text the next day from the bus driver, following up on how everything went and an email from the owner a few days later to make sure everything was as planned. We will 100% be hitting up the Bustonian again soon.

Was planning a bachelorette for one of my best friends in Boston, we had a group of 18 girls and needed to figure out a way to get around, the Bustonian it was! It was just this past weekend and I cannot say enough great things about it. The bus showed up and was in new condition(which I was a bit nervous about, you never know with some of these companies). We opted for the pink bus, it fit our group and the occasion perfectly. Has an ipod dock and great sound system. Cooler to fit all your adult beverages and a dance floor. Our driver was Don, he was both professional and helpful. You can pick spots on and off their recommended list, each driver has connections to door managers and promoters to help get in. As one spot we wanted to go to was way to packed, Don routed us to another place. Each time we were ready to leave, I would just text Don and he would be pulled up within about two minutes. The best part about the bus is that you skip all lines and have cover charges already covered(included in bus fee). You truly feel VIP traveling this way! I definitely recommend this for a unique travel experience around Boston!

Hosted a bachelor party on the Mr. Bustonian, it was a total success and everyone had a blast! Our driver Tom was great and he took care of us and it was a great time. I recommend the company and Tom as a driver to anyone!

IFYOUARETHINKINGOFDOING A PARTYBUS, GOWITHTHEBUSTONIAN I used the Bustonian for a birthday party with 30 friends and we could not have been more happy with our experience. Before the event the owner was very great about communicating via phone and email to set up the event. He was very reasonable about pricing and was able to give us a good deal. On the day of the event, the driver called me several hours before to verify our pickup time and location and itinerary. The driver was on time, and very professional. He was flexible and was able to deal with our indecisive friends and itinerary and had no problems with us changing plans on the spot. He had no trouble getting to any place we wanted to go. The bus itself was fantastic. We went with the Mr. Bustonian, and it was It clean, great quality sound and lights, and really top notch. The driver laid out his basic ground rules(don’t stick anything out the window, don’t puke) but encouraged us to party, and we certainly did. The next morning, the owner called me, drove to my apartment, and dropped off all the extra alcohol and jackets and stuff that were left behind on the bus from the night before. I thought this was an amazingly professional extra gesture and only put a great final cap to an already fantastic experience. Multiple friends told me that it was the ‘BESTNIGHTEVER!!”, and honestly, I definitely agree. Go with Bustonian!

Wow! Where do I begin? From the moment I spoke to Chad to compare party bus quotes and flexibility I was sold. Chad explained to me detail by detail what made Bustonian’s reputation and reliability worth every penny! He was patient and had a good sense of humor. When I joked that I would only take the bus if he agreed to be my driver for my 21st birthday celebration, he made it happen! One week later, Chad arrived early at the front of my place. He was very easy going and made all of my guests on the bus feel good. A note on party buses, TENTIMESBETTER than LIMOS! I had gone on a limo the week before for a friends birthdate(we were crammed and uncomfortable) and the moment I stepped on the party bus I knew I made the right choice. We all felt comfortable and could dance the whole way there! Chad was patient with waiting for all of us to get out and was a great bus driver! All of my friends were already planning the next time they would need a party bus and undoubtedly said they needed a CHAD to be their bus driver too! Great company! The party bus looked very classy(leather seats, lights, and loud music). I would recommend my driver in heart beat!

30 friends… beer(lots of it)…music…BUS? STRIPPERPOLE? Yeah, basically amazing. I did the party bus for my 21st birthday last december, aaaaaand I’m probably going to do it again this year. We had so much fun, being on the bus was better than hittin up the bars. We left a friend at south station(blame it on the alcohol) and we were already half way home by the time we noticed, but the bus driver turned around no problem! I would DEF. reccommend this… it will be a night you WONT forget… or you just might not even remember any of it at all by the time you wake up in the morning. DOIT!!!

I have to admit… all those years living in Boston and seeing the party bus, I thought it was the most obnoxious thing in the world. Those people think they are so cool. Well, don’t knock it ’til you try it. Reluctantly, I did, and whoa… that’s a lot of fun. A bunch of your friends dancing to the music you like on an unstable dance(bus) floor. WHYNOT???

«Ohhhh you ain’t see nothin’ yet…» The Bustonian is the ONLY way to party around Boston. While it was during the day and we were partying our way down to the beach, it’s always a good time on the Bustonian — party bus! Chris — our driver — is superb. He makes sure the whole bus is clean upon arrival and even does another wipe down while waiting for the party-goers to arrive. They have several buses and might I suggest that you try each one out. I really dig the leather seats and the pole. Music blaring down the street, you can’t miss the bus. Be sure to say hi to the passer-by-ers out the window and the tourists on the trolleys & duck boats.

The Bustonian is one of the best ways to party when you’re going out on the town. If you go to the website(which they just re-launched and looks great) you’ll notice that they will help you go to a plethora of Boston venues. This is an awesome perk but you almost don’t need to get off the bus. The party is always on the bus. You could take the Bustonian and drive around for the night and still have an excellent time! In the past two years I’ve been on the bus quite a bit — possibly 10 or so times and not once have I had a bad time.

«Shawty had them Apple Bottom Jeans(Jeans!) Boots with the fur(fur!) The whole club was lookin at her”* When was the last time you stood up and danced on a bus with neon lights, speakers with rims, a thumping bass, and sweet Melicious swinging on a stripper pole? ‘Twas my first time too. Yowza! I was dancing, booty shakin’ as it were, with the wind whipping my hair and dress into a frenzy. When we took a turn however, I accidentally fell right on top of Mel. tee hee ;) The Bustonian is quite an experience and a pretty sweet way to ride in the city and out. The people on the street were not sure what to make of a bus full of sandy beach travels getting low low low while cruising down Boylston with music blasting. Yo, snap, all my rides around town now need to be in tricked out school busses with Michael Jackson videos playing on a flat screen and a bass so thumpy you feel it pumping your heart. solid. *Flo Rida«Low». I gives credit.

Work it! I need a glass of Wa-Tah! I hurt my left foot today while attempting to work it today. Work it, in reference to the pole. Oh, the mighty stripper pole on the Bustonian. Boston’s exquisite party bus. I’m not a big partier, but I could not stop smiling and laughing today and the Bustonian is the one I can thank. Fun music, cool lights, seats, oh and the stripper pole. This makes for an interesting/fun and interactive part of your day. I will need to take one again soon!
