Avoid this place– the machines are unclean. The washing machines have left serious lint/​dirt/​whatever marks on my clothes a few times now.
The customer service is horrific. When I’ve asked the woman for my money back ($ 2.75, not asking for much here), she was extremely cold and unhelpful… She claimed she «doesn’t work here» (what??) and had no solution for me. She wouldn’t even get up from behind the counter to go look at a possibly broken washer, and was just rude and unprofessional. Needless to say, you won’t get your money back.
Sorry you hate your «maybe» job, lady… But that’s no excuse to be mean to anyone.

This place is a solid laundromat that I used to go to when I lived in the area. A few machines were broken, but there were always enough open machines for my stuff, even when doing 2 loads at a time. I think the prices are comparable for the neighborhood, and there’s a quarter machine that converts your bills for free. The owners were always really nice whenever I dropped my stuff off for fold-​and dry service. Watch out for the dryer temperature settings — I shrunk my clothing once on med-​high heat.

Came here today and used the machines. I don’t know about anyone else’s experience, but it was easy and everything worked well. Fast and nice, what more can I say?

I lugged my embarrassingly large and pastel comforter there today after realizing that the shared machine in the building could never handle the job. I found that the attendant was very pleasant. I saw him interact with several customers, and he was attentive and helpful. As for the washers and dryers, they worked well, everything was clearly labeled, and you can’t beat the location if you live in Back Bay/​Beacon Hill. Happy laundering!

This is a fine laundromat if you don’t need anything from the employees. I received horrible service on two separate occasions and the most recent makes me weary of returning. I put my clothes and money in two separate dryers that would not start. I asked the staff for help, as I thought perhaps I was using the machine incorrectly, and he literally rolled his eyes at me and continued to sit at his desk. I repeated, «Can you help me start this dryer?» and he told me to put more money in it. I told him I was weary of losing more money in the dryer and he stormed off, grabbed a few quarters and rudely handed them to me. I asked him what I should do now and he said, «Well, take the clothes out» and walked away before I could respond. I think it’s worth mentioning that about half of the dryers were marked out of order. I am very disappointed because I love the location of this laundromat but I feel like I’m annoying them every time I go in.

Awful place! The lady there either yells at you or ignores you if you ask something, like do you have change because your machine is out of order? Once I went to drop clothes off for the wash and fold service and the lady screamed at me to do it myself pointing at the machines! I really have to find another laundromat!

Expect to receive customer service that borders on hostility. The change machine is frequently out of service. Washing machines are often broken. The owner’s wife will literally shoo you away if you ask for help. Honestly, this place needs new owners.

This place isn’t so bad. Isn’t so expensive either. Not at all a glamorous place, especially considering everything surrounding it, but that’s the laundromat life. Be cognizant of signs in and around the machine indicating anything that may be wrong with it, and try to look for machines that were just used by someone because it’s a good sign they work! I think the last load is at 7:30. Good luck!

love their wash, dry & fold service! can’t comment on the machines, but i received great service from dropping off to picking up to the quality of the laundering… and it was $ 1.25/lb which is actually not that bad for boston! also– one of my pet peeves with laundromats is when they dry your clothes on medium to high, shrinking everything and they don’t do that at all here :)

Will never give this laundromat my business again! I went in today, to use one of their oversize machines, specifically to clean an item that needed hot water. During the cycle, I noticed the machine felt cold and thought I must be crazy. Then I heard another customer approach the help about the same thing! She didn’t think her hot water wash was hot at all. She was treated rudely, as was I when I had asked another question. Their customer service and accountability are just terrible. Imagine not having your clothes washed in hot water, when you are paying $ 4.25 for a large load. I cannot fathom how a place like this is still open for business.

I would have put negative 5 stars if possible. The machines are horrible, and the customer service is even worse. First issue: My roommate and I put our laundry in the dryer and came back at 8:40, 20 minutes before they said they closed, only to find our laundry locked in over night. The next morning, our laundry was still wet because they turned off the machines before our time had actually run out.
Second issue: we just went again at 8:30 (this time we went early to make sure they didn’t close before we got our clothes) and saw them opening the dryers that were still running. So I figured they were closing. I asked the lady what time they close, 8:30 or 9:00. She said 8:30 if there aren’t any customers (umm…what were we then?). So I simply said, «oh well your sign says 9:00, so maybe you should change it so people know to come early.» She snapped back at me, so I told her what happened to us last time. Then the guy came over and said «are you done? then get out.»
NEVER GO HERE. Make the hike up the hill to one of the other laundromats. This place is not worth your time or your money (they WAY over charge you as well, particularly since they shut off your machines before they’ve run out on the time you’ve paid for!)

I need to find a new laundromat!
First of all, the owners are extremely rude. Snippy, unhelpful replies to any question, accompanied by snively facial expressions and a biting tone. More importantly, a third of the machines are guaranteed to be out of order, and the dryers that *do* work are not very effective at drying clothes – and they DEFINITELY eat your quarters! When I complained about this once to the owners, I got a totally unintelligible, cold reply, after which they reluctantly refunded my two dollars.
Another time, the male owner was standing over my shoulder as I loaded quarters into a dryer. (One quarter buys 7 minutes.) After I entered 6, he barked, «THAT’S ENOUGH!” – funny, because the last time I’d been, a full hour in the machine on max heat left much of my stuff still damp.
So, yeah: Ineffective machines plus customer service that’s not only unhelpful but almost degrading is sending me elsewhere. This place has to have been under other management in the past – I have no idea how it can stay in business in this location.
