Club Monaco

I’ve never seen a ruder sales staff than at the Club Monaco in the Prudential Center. The clothes are cute, but it is not worth shopping at this location because of the awful staff. I did not see or hear the staff acknowledge or help any customers, even when people were searching for sizes that were not on display. The only time I saw the sales staff interact with customers was when they were begging to get commission at the cash register– extremely tacky. I will never go to this location again, which is unfortunate because it is so convenient.

Very high end and high quality clothing set in a cozy atmosphere. I mean like $ 200-​$ 1000 for a sweater. The employees make me feel like all the Abercrombie & Fitch employees graduated and became adults and now work here (hint hint everybody is beautiful). While I personally don’t have the money to burn to shop here on the regular I can definitely see the attraction. The styles are very modern and meant for adults. Honestly even if you can’t afford it, Club Monaco is worth checking out. If you find that their sense of style matches your own, you’ll feel like a kid in a candy store.

The clothes are beautiful in here but the staff is unwelcoming and rude. When you come in the store none of the associates say hello to you as you come in or browsing the store. I was just in the store 3 days ago and a rude sales guy came running and squeezing between me and the table in the back with out saying excuse me. I walked right out the store.

I like Club Monaco but not this location due to the sales associates. They give student discount with student ID but somehow never works with items that I wanted. Place is well organized and divided into male and female shop. Overpriced basic outfit if buy new arrivals but do find the sale rack useful for the decent work clothes.

Yes, yes, YES! Who do we not have one of these in Providence? WHY???
This location is absolutely the best I’ve been to. They layout is fabulous, the selection incredible and the staff superb. Had it not been for the attention of the two gents who helped me during my visit, I may not be the thrilled new owner of two of my most favorite sweaters. Truth be told, they’re gorgeous — tasteful and understated while having a cool and slight edgy quality to them, they’re perfectly suited to moi at this moment.
The space is fantastic — it’s sort of broken down into a multi-​room boutique, each with a different flavor. They’re all immaculate and well-​attended, the displays are tidy and everything is super easy to find. As I mentioned, the staff is excellent — I was greeted by a graceful and quick dude who continuously whisked away my items to a fitting room, appeared back with a suggestion for a sweater and never forgot my name once. Back in the fitting room, the sweetest guy ever helped me decide which items work and will continue to work with my ever-​expanding frame (now that I am very obviously pregnant), and we had fun while doing it.
It was such a pleasant experience, I will continue to come to this location as often as I can when I need to. I love CM clothing, and finding a store and staff to match the quality and design of their line is like hitting the jackpot in my book.

The customer service here is horrible. The staff up front are very rude and don’t give a f*ck.
I was there while a customer (who didn’t speak english all that well) was waiting for someone and pretty much everyone ignored her. Why wouldn’t you try to help and be a good person?
I don’t know what the managers are teaching their employees, but it’s pretty sad.
The only employee I could say was decent was an asian woman named Jo or Jho…
Other than that, I’d rather shop online than go here.
Hopefully the managers read this and teach their staff some manners.

Due to the lack of customer service and rudeness by one of the stylist (Brittany Hull or Uhull) I will no longer purchase from Club Monaco.
I am a loyal customer of Club Monaco designs, but since I was treated very rudely and unfairly I will no longer purchase anything at this location.
A message to the store manager Matthew Kowitz train Brittany Hull or Uhull in customer service, communication skills, and to be more friendly with guest. (Loose the attitude bi*ch) If she doesn’t love her job let her go.
I do not come to this location to be treated unfairly or to receive a bad experience.

Good for stylish business clothes. pretty pricey, and the employees are not very helpful– every time I’m there, I feel intimidated. Very pretty business clothes, though!

I want to start this by stating that I really like the clothing that the store offers. I also have had a handful of pleasant experiences at the store, especially while in the men’s section.
Unfortunately I have had more disappointing experiences than not. There are a handful of floor help and managers that are clearly confused as to what customer service means and it shows in the attitude they have when helping customers. Unless you’re buying half the store they could completely disregard the fact that you are shopping there. Not personally pleased with this location, fortunately there are online stores available.

This is a pathetic, disgusting excuse for a store. I have never encountered more unprofessional people at any other place. I witnessed a male manager yelling at a worker. Such an uncomfortable environment and it’s clear the managers don’t respect workers. I would rather shop at a place with a better environment! Not for me.

I’ve always loved Club Monaco’s clothing, and they have decent sales too!
I came here with my friend last night, and she was looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. She didn’t have the details about the time and venue of the wedding, so we were searching for something versatile. The workers here were really helpful with suggestions of dresses and accessories, and they even chatted with and kept me company while I was sitting by the dressing rooms as she was trying on her dresses.
Result: Walked out of there with a cute, pretty dress and accessories that’re perfect for her and the occasion.

I love their clothes, but sadly they’re pretty pricey so I stick to the sales mainly. If you’re a student, they give a 20% discount on full price items. Once in a while, I see a coat I’ve got to have, so I end up paying full price on it because my size is never in the sale section for coats. The one problem with their coats is that they’re not very warm, but I guess you look damn good while freezing your tookus off.

I absolutely love this store! I’m a huge fan of neutrals, and I want every piece they offer here for my closet. If only my wallet would agree… sigh. Luckily they have sales often, with lots of stock and big discounts! I strictly stick to sales and have gotten most of my clothes for 60% off or more here (with the 20% student discount). Quality is also amazing — a lot of silks, cashmeres, wool blends, etc.
I especially like this location for their service — the staff is so friendly! Every time I come, even on their busiest days, I’ve been offered help. The staff is always there to provide style advice, set up a fitting room, or suggest other pieces I might like in the store. They seem genuinely happy to help out, and I always leave feeling pampered!
I recently went on a shopping spree, and got a hand written thank you card in the mail a week later. No other store I frequent has done this before, and it definitely made my day :)

Going to make this quick and simple. LOVE their clothes. Great quality and colors. Let’s just say if Club Monaco was my closet then I will be the happiest girl in all of Boston Land. Bought two coats from there so far. The fit is not perfect but its close enough for my small frame. The customer service there is phenomenal, when you try anything on they will stand by your side just incase you need their help. I met a college student who was working there and somehow we connected. She was down to earth and was curious about my school and hobbies. Above and beyond.

I’m a fan of any store that possesses dress pants with a waist of 28 and does free alterations on length.
Bought 2 pants: gray and black.
Bottom line: America’s too fat for me.

Entering the «real world» made it absolutely necessary for me to go work-​clothes shopping. Okay, fine, I’ll take any excuse to go shopping.
I’ve always ignored Club Monaco when I’m at the mall, thinking it was too expensive and simple. But ever since my recent purchase (friend convinced me), I’m slowly becoming a fan. True, you can easily get similar trendy-​for-​work style at Express or Zara, but there’s a HUGE difference in quality… and price for that matter. Clothes and leather gloves are ultra soft. I usually go straight to the sales racks. The accessories are super-​cute but way overpriced for things made in China. Btw, NO EARRINGS — learned this from my friend the other day.

In terms of service, the sales girls are friendly, good at dishing compliments and checking other CM’s for items in your size.

The service is just HORRIBLE. Salesgirl smacked her gum at me and had never heard of french cuffs.
They took forever to wrap up my dress, as one girl swiped the card while another did up all the tiny buttons in a zen-​like trance. Sexy dress, though.

I have a new crush and it is Club Monaco. Keri Russell recommended this place to me. Well ok, not to me personally but I learned about this contemporary store from one of her interviews in which she gushed about the fabulous timeless style of CM.
Now for the lowdown… Club Monaco’s selection is rather limited and for the most part they carry a lot of whites and blacks with the occasional floral print or splash of color. They offer a 20% discount to those with valid Student IDs. As far as prices go, I say they are mid-​high range (sorry that probably makes no sense at all) For example a dress may set you back $ 150 – 200 and skirts are in the $ 99 to $ 129 range. But before you start screaming that those prices are too high… I must tell you two things:
1. The clothes will make you look fab, will flatter your figure and last you a long time
2. You might just find a bargain on the sale rack, so don’t give up hope.
I just found a bargain there and nearly scared the salesgirl with my gleeful screaming. I found a wool blend suiting skirt in a almost black navy color, just the right length. barely grazing the knee. I could tell immediately that it was a timeless and well crafted piece that I can wear for years… and it only cost $ 29 (original price $ 129). And did I mention it has pockets… you know the cool type that you slide your hands in when you’re acting cool. SCORE! Their pencil skirts are to die for and will look amazing either dressed up with a blazer or worn more caz with a flowly tank and oversized chain neclace.
The wonderful thing about this place is how easy it is to mix and match pieces within the store or even incorporate them into your existing wardrobe.
As far as the Men’s side goes it is a little bit more limited. However, again the clothes look sharp and are worth a look. Personally if I had all the money in the world I would prefer to buy my work clothes from here versus Banana.
I had always walked past this store in the Pru thinking it to boring or overpriced… so thank you Keri for giving me that little push into this brightly lit store. I’ll be back to snag some rockin pencil skirts soon!

Granted my new found freedom, I decided to go shopping at the Pru.
This is nice store. Well organized and clean. The merchandise they carry is a little «boring», but you can find a few timeless practical pieces there. The quality is pretty good their stuff will not fall apart after the first wash. The clothes are mostly, black, white and a slash a color here and there.
The prices are a little too high for my budged, but they do have a nice sale rack and I did get a new skirt for $ 39, original price $ 149. Not bad, but I’ve had a better bargain.
The staff is a little stuck up, unfriendly and snotty. But most of the sales persons usually look down on me, maybe you’ll have better luck.

I love Club Monaco even more than Zara, Gap, Jcrew, Express and Banana. Their clothes are really cut to fit the size that they say, unlike Zara where an XL is really a XS. Damn European cuts.
The staff in the Pru location are not very friendly however. I get better customer service at the one in Natick. They know me and even call me about sales, or when new things come in.

The one thing that irks me about Club Monaco is their mannequin selection: they typically have three mannequins in the front window: one dressed one way, and the other two DRESSED EXACTLY THE SAME. That very oddity is what brought me into their store to check ‘em out the first time. I figured that if they were that weird to dress twin mannequins, something is either really wrong, or really right.
What I found was a store that has really great clothes, although sometimes wayyyyy too expensive for me to even browse. I love their hip preppy stuff, and I have a lot of fun drooling over their large handbags and la-​la-​lovely accessories.
The items I have purchased from Club Monaco fit beautifully and have lasted very long. And a trip with my mother once uncovered the little secret that Club Monaco may not want to boast: they do free alterations! Can’t beat that. But they won’t advertise it — so make sure you ask!
A little out of my price range, yes… but there are some hidden gems in there and for that, and the fact that their mannequin etiquette is so bad it’s good, I’m a fan for life.

I’ve never really spent the time in this store to write a quality review. After a trip this Saturday night, I feel I’m ready.
I really like the style of clothing here even if some of the items are smaller in fit than the sizes I’m used to (I’m big boned, I’ll get over it. Wait, No I won’t. But oh well). If you search enough, you can find something that will fit you suitably, and if price is your concern, there are always a lot of items on sale. I can smell discounts like I can smell baked goods.
The staff here is also friendly. Brad, I believe was his name, assisted me when it was time to try on clothes and inevitably helped me make a final selection. I change my mind on things as often as some Eastern European countries change governments, so reassurance is a must! Plus I believe Brad was gay (a male working retail in Boston, SHOCKER) so I took his opinion as an honest one. Even one of my friends was happy with my purchase and commented that I «wasn’t dressed like a lesbian tonight.»
Right in the shops at the Prudential Center which is a close proximity to my apartment, I’m going to stop in here more often and check out the sale items.
Fashion? Yes. Full price? No!
