Regina is the real deal. Have been a Faking It! faithful for over two years now, both as a regular client and as a bride.
Regina is a great stylist & make up artist! She is my go-​to for cuts, color and extensions. Would highly recommend her! I even had a bridesmaid book her as her day-​of stylist after our wedding was such a success.

Randomly found this salon on google one day cuz its close to my work and went for the first time last nite for lashes. I am now officially obsessed! I’ve gone to the same place I’m dedham for two years but my lash girl has been on leave so was scared to find someone new. Im a pyscho when it comes to how they look so for me to actually write a review about how great they look right now should tell u a lot. Salon is super cute and Regina was wicked cool! I have been a client of Regina for the past 9 years. Regina also does my mother, sister and daughters hair. Regina is hands down the best hairstylist that I have ever gone to. She always gives great suggestions and always takes the time to explain what exactly she is doing. In my opinion she is color and cut genius. Regina also does amazing jobs for wedding. She did hair and makeup for my sisters wedding and did a fabulous job. I highly suggest giving Regina a try she will not disappoint.

I went to Regina for a correction to previously done eyelash extensions (that didn’t work out) and she did such a great job. I LOVED my lashes! They looked beautiful and natural and just fabulous. Regina had great customer service skills and really just wanted to make sure I was happy and I really appreciated that. If you check out Faking It and go to Regina you will not regret it!

Whether you’re looking for a color correction, a purple Mohawk, or beautiful extensions that look (and feel) like your own hair, you’re in good hands with Regina. She genuinely loves what she does; nothing makes her happier than making her clients’ «hair dreams» come true. I got a hair color that I felt was too dark for my natural dark brown hair.
Hair cut was pretty much a trim although I asked for their opinion on what to get done. I expected the stylist to consult with me and feel my hair, ask what my hair was like and what I wanted to achieve. Then I expected them to advise me what would look good on me.
And when I walked in there wasn’t much room for me to sit anywhere bc someone was sitting there and had her bags up too.
I was disappointed and let the owner know. She did offer to redo the service which was nice but since I already had a negative experience I declined.
My hair was not cut or colored by the owner.

This place is awesome and Regina is spectacular at EVERYTHING she does. She is a beast at color, cut, extensions, and eyelashes. They have very convenient hours and you can book with her via email, text, IM, and every other imaginable way. Can you say convenient?! I like my hair to be red, a complex multi-​tonal red to be exact. Regina is always able to get me there!

Avoid this place. I think the name sums it all up. Faking it, thinking they’re a high end Boston salon. They didn’t do a bad job, but they’re no better than a super cuts. The prices are outrageous. You can seriously get the same quality cut and color anywhere else for about a third of the price.

Regina has done my hair and makeup a number of times at photoshoots and she never fails to amaze me each time. A few weeks ago at a shoot I was telling her how I have been wanting to go lighter (almost white) for a long time but my current hair stylist was afraid to do it to my hair. Regina said she would do it so I booked an appointment with her that day. I live in RI, it is an hour drive to Faking It salon for me but it was absolutely worth the drive! My hair is FINALLY the color I have been wanting! I have never been so satisfied with a hair color! She is truly an artist!

I am so happy with my experience with Regina at Faking it! Salon. She worked with me and my crazy schedule to make sure I could get my hair done before a big event. She was able to soften the highlights I never wanted (but got from a different salon) in my brunette hair. She also evened out my haircut that was somehow completely uneven (also from another salon). This was my first visit, but definitely won’t be my last! Thank you, Regina!

I could go into a long description of how truly amazing this salon is but you might then glaze over it… straight to the point: Regina and Kathi, these girls CAN DO SOME GOOD HAIR! The only person you are cheating by not going in is yourself!

I have had the pleasure to work with Daniel Garnett. He is always a joy to speak to and one that really cares about his customers. He is a business owner I have the utmost faith in and someone I highly recommend placing your business with.

Regina is truly an artist and takes a tremendous amount of pride in her work. She was at my hotel room on my wedding day exactly at the time she said she was going to be. She set the room up, opening the windows, putting us in the best light, ordering a bar stool from downstairs (yes really). She’s so pleasant and was so kind to all of my girls. She executed all of their hair and makeup exactly as we had discussed. My hair and makeup — phenominal. I didn’t love the curls that were in my trial — no problem, out they went! There is a level of confidence Regina exudes when she is working that puts everyone (including a nervous bride) at ease. Her assistant, Erica, was as equally talented. I would highly recommend Regina and anyone on her staff!

From basic to fabulous in less than no time. The gals here have many a trick here up their sleeves to make your hair dreams become a reality. They are fun, professional, and are experts at what they do. Support local business. This place is a hidden gem!

Watch out tell the truth and Regina and several others contact to threaten you with sob stories and threats of the police!!! I’m not the deleting my truthful review! Stay away from this horrible place!!! She harasses negative reviewers from several accounts this place is horrible and Regina is a horrible person con artist tried to get my boyfriend to pay twice and then say we never did when he showed me the bank statement I wrote a negative review! Got harassed by her husband and others from numerous account that uses a post positive reviews on here note that when a negative review goes up a bunch of phony ones go right up of positive things! By the way I talk to the West Roxbury police department anyone getting a bad haircut should do sell it is illegal the prices she charges in the service that she provides are night and day!!!

The place to go to if you want beautiful hair extensions, excellent color and natural eye lashes. I have been going to this salon for about two years now and have been nothing but happy with all of their services. Regina is certainly a master of her work, always willing to listen and meet all of her clients needs. I’ve left the salon feeling beautiful every time without fail. You won’t be disappointed !! Highly recommend !

I was in desperate need of a new lash technician. It had been a month since I had them refilled and was not wanting to go back to Fall River. I researched for weeks and came up on Faking It Salon. I wasn’t sure if they would see me, but after a few email exchanges, Regina (salon owner) scheduled me in. She’s fast, efficient and awesome to talk to and get to know. It’s been a few weeks now and I’m absolutely in love with how they look. The salon is nice too! Very clean. They do hair extensions, color treatments and waxing. Definitely a one-​stop you don’t want to miss.

I was encouraged by the great reviews everyone had about this salon, but I have unfortunately had the worst luck with making appointments with them! I purchased a living social deal for lashes and here’s my experience:
Day one: Called for an appointment. No one answers, the message says to hang up and email Regina or Kathi. I emailed Regina for an appointment.
2 or 3 days later: No response. I called again, no answer. I get the same message to email. I email Regina and Kathi.
2 more days later: No responses in my inbox or junk. Hm, ok, its the start of bridal season and I’m just trying to use my coupon, maybe they are busy. I called and someone answered! Christine made an appointment for later in the week with Regina.
Day of appointment: Christine calls 3 hours before the appointment and cancels for Regina. When would I like to rebook? Well unfortunately I work, so evenings or weekends are best. We make an appointment for 14 days later after work.
Day of rebooked appointment: I’m a little worried because I didn’t get a confirmation email like I did for the first appointment, so I call to make sure the appointment is still on. No answer. I call 2 – 3 more times through out the day. No answer, same message that says to email Regina or Kathi.
I get to the appointment, and my worries are confirmed, the salon is shuttered with no one working. The door is locked.
Sigh! I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Its just too hard to make an appointment!

Just had my extensions put in by Regina and I am still on cloud 9! It was just the boost I needed. My hair feels and looks so natural… everything that was promised. I must say too that we had the salon to ourselves and had some good conversation. Thank you Regina! You may have yourself an addict now!
