Stopped in on Saturday while we were walking through the North End. Guy gave me the best haircut of my life. I hope to use him from now on even though we live an hour away!

Wonderful shop. Guy is a perfectionist. Never disappoints.

I’ve been here a few times over the past year and have always had a pleasant experience. Quick haircut and a shave, expensive but what isn’t in the North End.

Stopped in for a trim on the way to work — it was great that was open early-​ish (9) and I was able to get the haircut right away. He was very attentive to my requests and went back to trim some areas multiple times until we were both happy. An old-​school establishment, no doubt, but it’s a good location that produces good results.

Stopped by on a recent business trip to Boston. Despite the location directly on Hanover Street, I managed to slip in between two appointments right away. I loved the experience, it doesn’t get much more old-​school, right down to the back issues of playboy in the waiting area.
One of the best cuts I’ve had in several years (… just don’t tell my barber back home).

I stopped by and got a haircut and my 2 yo son’s haircut. Everyone there was fantastic. I called ahead an made an appointment and got to watch him take his time with the customer before me. He takes serious pride in his job and his customers really benefit.
He trimmed up my son’s hair just perfect and kept my son from fussing while he got his hair cut.
I had a clippers only to shorten things back up and he did a fantastic job fading it. Follow up with a straight razor cleanup of the back of my neck. I’m very happy.
Cash only. At first I thought the prices were kind of high, but after seeing the quality and treatment of customers I think its a great deal.
Definitely a men’s barber shop, gentleman’s periodicals are available in a magazine rack on the wall, but not offensive or overt.

This dude tore up my face, then had the nerve to charge me full price. $ 50 for a shave and cut? Absurd.

If your looking for a straight razor shave this is the place to go! Guy’s deft handeling of the razor glides over your face with nary a drag or slop producing a smooth clean shave. He also gives a great haircut paying attention to every detail, you’ll feel great when you walk out!
