Legal Sea Foods located at the Logan International Airport is not the usual quick lunch spot at the airport. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The service was also impeccable with attention to detail and very knowledgeable about the food and drink offerings. Their burger was succulent and very flavourful. The meat was extremely fresh, the bun was perfect and the overall flavour was superb. I highly recommend Legal Sea Foods’ airport location. Enjoy!

Lousy breakfast. Dry, overcooked potatoes and eggs. Way overpriced too. Service was good though.

Seriously, my favorite thing about flying Jet Blue is this Legal’s in the terminal. I love love some Legal before a flight.

You ever get one of those waiters who you know obviously hates their job and would rather be anywhere else but here at this restaurant serving you? Well we had her and my star rating is based alot on the experience I had with this waitress. We took off from terminal B, so this restaurant was one of the only«sit down» option besides the food court. The area was very small and they definitely squeezed everyone together into a very small area. I literally was a part of the table next to me’s conversation. If we were any closer, I would probably be in the person’s lap. We weren’t super hungry and were just looking for a quick bite before getting on the plane. We ordered the chicken wings and split a caesar salad. The caesar salad was mediocre and the wings were A-OK. The waiter paid no attention, didn’t really come by, and we sat there for quite a while staring at empty plates and empty cup glasses. I’m hoping she was just having an off-day.

Great service and great food. Our seafood dishes were wonderfully prepared. The wine selection was excellent as well. Good spot to eat and drink while you wait for your flight.

My visit to Boston a few months back was a whirlwind. Visiting family in the area didn’t leave me much time to explore the city on my own. I didn’t get a chance to try any of the famed seafood eateries there in town. Thus, I made it a point to visit Legal Sea Foods for dinner prior to my flight back to Seattle. At least then I would be able to enjoy some fresh seafood along with some local beer. Legal Sea Foods has several locations at Logan Airport in all terminals(Terminal A, B and C) except the International Terminal(Terminal E). Since I was flying on JetBlue, I visited the location at Terminal C. The restaurant is located post-security and the first restaurant you encounter after getting through. This location has a bar in front with table seating on your right. The menu is full of New England seafood offerings in several forms. You will find appetizers, chowders, entrees, fried seafood, raw shellfish and sandwiches on it. For drinks, it was nice to see that they have a decent selection of about a half dozen craft draft beers here to choose from. The food prices here are not actually too bad. If you look at the menus for Legal’s locations in town, they are comparable. The beers were also pretty reasonably priced. They didn’t seem too heavily marked up and comparable to what I would expect to pay at a city restaurant. While the lobster roll is the popular choice to get here, I decided to opt for the crab & avocado salad($ 16.95) instead along with Legal’s famous New England chowder($ 6.95) which is served in a mug with oyster crackers. Also ordered a pint of Foolproof(Pawtucket, RI) Raincloud Robust Porter($ 6.75). Got the beer first and it tasted like I expected. It is a porter so it has a bold flavor that is coffee-esque due to the inclusion of chocolate and crystal malts. Next was the New England chowder and I have to say it is pretty good. It is rich and creamy. I wouldn’t call the clam chowder here the best I have had. That honor would go to Pike Place Chowder in Seattle, but the version here does come close. Finally, there is the crab & avocado salad which I would say was my favorite offering. The crab was incredibly fresh and rich tasting. The salad was pretty simple as it had just a handful of ingredients including avocado, cucumber, hard boiled egg and tomato with a light oil dressing on top. But that why I liked it so much. The cucumber and tomato in particular counteracted the richness of the crab. It was a perfectly balanced meal and a better choice than ordering a heavy seafood dish. If you are looking for a dish that fills you up before your flight but won’t give you food coma, this salad is a good choice. Service here was great. Friendly and expedient. I came here a couple hours before my flight expecting to wait a bit for my meal. But the wait for my meal was quicker than I expected. So by the time I finished my meal here, I still had plenty of time to burn at my gate before my flight. It seems like they have got a good hold on getting traveling customers in and out. Enjoyed my meal at Legal Sea Foods immensely. I would go so far as to say that this may be the best meal that I have had at an airport thus far. If you are at the airport and looking for your last opportunity to enjoy New England seafood and craft beer, dining at Legal is the way to go.

Had the creek side burger with fries and onion straws, it was good but I would recommend the tuna burger over the creek side burger. The server was courteous and on top of things. I was in and out quick before a flight, which worked out perfectly. This is the only sit down restaurant in the B terminal where you can get a decent meal.

Small location inside Terminal C of Logan International. Mainly bar seats seating with a bout 6 small tables — definitely not a place to go in groups larger than 4. Service was attentive and the food was excellent despite the higher prices expected at airports. Remember to put you name on the waiting list, as there most likely will be a wait, but the wait isn’t long. Got seated after a 10 – 15 minute wait.

After our lackluster dining options in the International terminal at Logan we were excited to see Legal Sea Foods in terminal C on our flight home. The food wasn’t cheap, but the service was fast and friendly and it was wonderful to have a place to sit. I ordered a lobster roll and a beer. Was it a great lobster roll? No. But it was a perfectly acceptable lobster roll. The lobster roll was a nice size and contained large hunks of sweet, flaky lobster. The fries that accompanied my lobster roll were really good. Maybe I was just grateful to not have to eat another prepackaged airline meal of overcooked pasta and stale dinner rolls? My dinner at Legal Sea Foods was pretty good after my long flight from Ireland.

Had a few hours before boarding so I decided to eat somewhere nice. The aroma from this restaurant was overwhelming. I always ask the servers recommendation; so I started with the Clam Chowder, it was so good never had any chowder better than this. Then I had the Crab Cake Sandwich, taste like they just caught the carb and made it. I still had time to have desert so while in Boston mine as well have the Boston Cream Pie, off my diet but hey you only live once; I must have died and went to heaven. Thank you Kim who recommended everything. It was fantastic. Oh this was in Terminal B

Since I didn’t get a chance to roam around Boston, I was so delighted I got to eat my favorite Boston dishes at the airport!!! Walking into Terminal C, you see Legal sea foods right beside the TSA area. Service is really efficient, and the menu indicates which foods are ready quickly so customers don’t need to worry about their flights. I sat at the bar, and was greeted by the bartender quickly. I got my favorite lobster roll, which came with fries. The lobster roll was served in two half pieces of paper, that forms a wonderful holder for the delicious roll. The bread was nicely toasted and buttered, the lobster chunks were giant and sweet. The only complaint I had was that the lobster salad sauce needed a little more kick, maybe some salt or something. The fries were fat and nicely fried. Delicious! I was craving for more, so I got the clam chowder after seeing how tiny the cup was. It was deceivingly tiny in size but fills you up really quickly. The soup was very flavorful and thick, but not too creamy. the clams were chewy and sweet! yummy. So happy that legal sea foods is in the airport! Would definitely be back for more if I’m passing by. Don’t be surprised by the bill, you are paying for your worth!

Always can count on Legal Seafood for the best Chowda. It’s da bomb. I wasn’t starved so I had the iceberg salad with blue cheese and bacon after. B Also wonderful. Service is fast and friendly. Nice to find such good food in an airport where sometimes dining options can be limited. Check it out!

While not up to snuff compared to their non-airport restaurants, this is good food in terminal C, which is a big plus. Note that even if you’re going to the other part of terminal C(where Alaska Airlines has some flights), TSA will still let you go in here with your boarding pass. I had the swordfish and shrimp combo — the shrimp were fine, the swordfish a disappointment(OK, but a little overcooked). The squash that accompanied it was quite good, the rice pre-cooked and not that good. They seat you efficiently(and manage the queue of folks waiting to get in), as well as being aware of your available time before your flight. Just realize that this isn’t comparable to Legal Sea Foods outside the airport.

If you know what to order, you’ll enjoy it more! Thanks to a Unilocaler’s review, I took the advice to skip the Lobster Roll(which to me was overpriced anyway) and ordered the Crabmeat Avocado Salad and a cup of New England Clam Chowder while waiting for a connecting flight. I also ordered a chicken finger kid’s meal for my daughter. The Crabmeat salad blew my expectations through the roof! Just imagine a giant lump of delicious, fresh crabmeat sitting atop a freshly sliced avocado. Surrounding this edible beauty was sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and a boiled egg. The entirety was drizzled with some olive oil and a whole-grain mustard dressing. It was refreshing, light but filling, and entirely satisfactory for both my mind and stomach. I HIGHLY recommend this if you have some time to spare at the airport. I will be looking for connecting flights to Logan Airport if only to be able to have this for lunch again some day! The service was fairly attentive for being a busy airport and our table was was ready just a few minutes after we arrived. No complaints there. The New England clam chowder was up to par but nothing more than what I’m accustomed to and my daughter enjoyed her chicken fingers that came with fries and grapes. TLDR: ORDERTHECRABMEATSALAD! Legal’s staff starts off each meal with a question that I think EVERY airport eatery should ask: «How soon is your flight?» Key. I hate when you try to grab a quick meal and a beer and the service is slooooow. Not so at Legal Sea Foods. Service was awesome! Meals were quickly prepared, promptly delivered, and tasted very good. I had the wedge salad(fine) and the«world famous» clam chowder(very good). Both were priced decently as well. Also, if you are in need of another carry-on, Legal will sell you a live lobster to take with you on the plane. No joke. You can take a now-pet, soon-to-be-dinner home in a box. I would personally have trouble throwing my travelling companion in a pot of steaming water once I got home, but fresh East-coast seafood can be tough to find in the Midwest. Overall, very pleased!

I admit it — I’m a dingleberry! I was totally ok with departing from my sweet family and friends early so I could grab some chowder and fried clams at Logan. I was fine with smashing through crowds of people and babies back and forth through Terminal C to go through security checkpoints 3 freaking times, just so I got my only fix of NE crustaceans. WORTHITTHO. After the debacle that is getting anywhere in Logan Airport, I arrived at Legal Seafoods. I saw a crowd of people waiting and was devastated, but I put my name down. The line moved very fast — they seated me in about 5mins! I asked the host how long service usually is, and he said most people are in and out in 20−30mins. But since airport anxiety is THEWORST, I cut corners and ordered immediately as I was seated — mug o’ chowda and fried clams app, stat! My water and NE clam chowder came out fast. Thank god I had a distraction from the couple that debated about every menu item next to me, ugh. Legal Seafoods has amazing chowder — packed with clams and savory and creamy. I added fresh cracked black pepper that was on the table. But then other people who were seated after me started to get their meals before me, and I got nervous. My clams app came after 30mins of ordering, so I asked for my check upon their arrival too. The clams were whole, big bellied, and sweet on the inside and crispy on the outside. Just heaven. I paid my bill of $ 26(sans tip!) and bolted like a madwoman to my flight that ended up being delayed anyway.

It’s nice that chains like these are taking a shot at opening up in airport terminals. A hot cup of chowder hear is a great way to end a weekend in New England. The rest of my meal was just okay, and a tad high priced for what I got. The shrimp just wasn’t large or really flavorful other than salt. The fries were a bit skimped on. But… I’m really just not a fan of legal sea food in general(other than the clam chowder — that is usually great)…

Ok, maybe 5 stars is a slight stretch but it’s 5 stars for airport food. Service was quick, friendly and attentive. Food was not the usual Legal’s. In fact, I really think these should go on some of their regular menus. FOOD: Raw bar sampler — what a great idea and it came with 2 huge cocktail shrimp, 2 oysters and 3 clams for $ 10.95. Say what??! Yes I know. What a value and it was great. Crab and Avocado — crab was fresh, meat slightly sweet but just a smidge tangy from the Dijon plopped on top of an avocado. Excellent combo of ingredients and hit the spot for a delicious yet light alternative dinner option. Kids grilled cheese — generous portion and I loved the fact that it includes grapes and butternut squash for a balanced meal. Awesome spot to sit back and relax before takeoff each time I fly out from Terminal C. Will be back here again in January I’m sure!

Pretty solid place to grab a bite if you have time to spare at the Boston airport. The clam chowder was great, surprisingly plentiful of clams and chowder was not too thick(nor was it watered down). The crab roll was delicious! At $ 17 a roll with fries and coleslaw, it may be better than the lobster roll! A must get! Overall I had a satisfied meal here and service was great.

I routinely fly out of Terminal C, and this Legal Sea Foods is a great place to grab a final lobster roll on my way back to Raleigh. On my last stop, I had plenty of time so I had a large Harpoon IPA, a half-dozen oysters, and a lobster roll. My waiter was awesome. He asked right away if I was in a rush(a necessity for airport restaurants), and took my beer order. He was knowledgeable about the oysters, and very attentive. For post-security in Terminal C, this is probably the best you can get.
