Great addition to Newbury St. They have a good variety of dresses and clothes– you can find an outfit for just about any occasion!!! The dresses are adorable. Don’t miss the jewelry in the back– from delicate earrings to statement pieces, they have it all.

I wandered into Lure in early July of 2014, before they had a Unilocal profile. I had been frantically searching for a dress to wear to a wedding with my boyfriend’s intrinsically stylish family. After stopping in a host of other stores along Newbury Street, ones that I was familiar with and had high hopes for, I was still without the dress – until I found Lure.
I walked in and was immediately impressed by their selection. They had dresses in every length, fabric, color, and cut I could want. The young woman who was working set me up with a dressing room and, without being pushy, offered to help me find whatever I needed. Once I had narrowed down my choices she helped me accessorize and offered honest feedback whenever I asked.
The navy chiffon dress with a chunky, textured hem combined with the gold/​ivory belt I purchased at Lure have made it through two weddings so far. I receive compliments on the dress when I am wearing it and even from friends going through my closet looking for something to borrow.
I am definitely going back here next time I have an semi/​formal event to attend, and I highly recommend that others do the same.

This is the sister store to Liptstick (see my other review) and almost across the street from Lipstick on Newbury Street. This store is fairly new and sells women’s wear that’s more dressy, higher quality and higher priced than Lipstick. The clothes here are beautiful with some being a bit more daring and unique. Great place to find a great party dress for an event or splurge on a really nice dress just ’cause. The price range for most of the dresses averaged around $ 120 but honestly, the qualify of the fabric is commensurate with the price. The dresses I bought were lined and had a good weight to them. Most were also European brands and like the sister store, the sizes do run a tad smaller and there isn’t much for larger sizes.
This boutique is more spacious and decorated like a proper boutique. Staff interchange between Lipstick and Lure so you get the same wonderful and knowledgable staff at both stores. I loved this place and will definitely come back!!!

This boutique has only been open for a few months but it’s already one of my favorite places to stop by on Newbury Street. Really cute dresses from brands I haven’t seen at other places, running mostly $ 70 and up. The perfect spot to find dresses for more formal occasions, and the workers are very attentive and helpful in showing you styles you might not have otherwise tried yourself.
