We had a very pleasant experience here. The waitstaff was very friendly and the owner was very hospitable/attentive. They seem to be that way with everyone there. We had a few lobster dishes. The spicier one was amazing! Very authentic Chinese food. My parents said some dishes were a tad too salty but overall they seemed to have a good time.

I was here on Christmas night for dinner, the place was not too busy. It is much cleaner than peach farm restaurant in China town and the waiters are very attentive. The hot and sour soup was very good, I am not used to very hot dishes so it was too hot for me but I still liked it. We shared shrimp with lobster sauce(which was my favorite, it had bits of ginger in it that made it quite tasty), general Gau’s chicken(crispy chicken in a sweet sauce with broccoli), satay beef in vermicelli in hot pot(this had bits of pine apple and it was temperature wise very hot when it arrived– not any spice in it though) and boneless spareribs(a bit dry, it comes with a pink sauce which tastes like apple vinegar). Over all it is an average restaurant.

Open late night which is always a plus! Started off with the hot & sour soup. It is one of the better soups I’ve had but could be a little more sour. As a group, we split the beef pan fried noodles(which was my favorite), mussels in black bean sauce, Kung pao chicken and a whole fried fish.

Nasty nasty nasty dirty place. Last time I was there, there was blood, pee, feces, you name it, in the bathroom. I should have taking a picture. I would never step foot into this place!

This restaurant is terrible!!! especially the service! One is the man who’s white short hair and the other one is the woman with short hair. Their attitude are really really bad! When we have some concern about the dishes, they were like that they don’t even want to response. They just answered one or two words which are really vague and unclear. I absolutely will never ever have dinner in this restaurant!

Just got delivery and ordered lobster with ginger and scallions which was really good, stir fried watercress was tasty but last dish of shrimp Kung pao was disgusting! It had a spoiled placer and I threw it out! I’ve eaten here before but this was worst Kung pao ever and I am an authority

Solid. Came for lobster, asked the waiter what he thought the best prep was. He said to go spicy fried, so I did. Not bad at all, but ginger and garlic might have been better. Also had the spicy crispy chicken wings which were very good. Good service. One person out the door for $ 37.

If you can stand sweating while you eat there on a hot summer day, then go. Food was middle of the road. Good portion size, but the quality lacked on a few dishes. Lemon chicken was weirdly sweet and tangy, but edible. Scallops in the spicy Scezuan triple delight was great! Spicy lamb was good, but would not order again. Duck was good, especially with the mushrooms. Order to share the dishes, as portion size is very generous.

A year ago sometime in June, we went here for a family dinner. The only thing I remember was having fans blow into my face as I tried to eat. I have short hair(profile pic is old, bite me) and it was a pain trying to eat like that for the entire meal with my hair in my face. Apparently, their AC wasn’t working well that day. Okay, forgiven. This is a one time thing after all, right? A year later, I walk in on a July Sunday evening for another family dinner. The restaurant is crowded but we are seated because we have reservations. The six of us stuff ourselves into seats near the huge painting of Hong Kong’s skyline at night. We order and the food comes, and we’re eating, right? Next thing I know, I’m fanning myself with a makeshift fan made out of a packet of oil blotting papers. We sat directly under the vent but the lack of circulation was just horrific. And how horrific? My 80-something-year-old grandmother sat across from me and ate while sweat dripped down her forehead, poor woman. Her top of her nose was glistening while I reminded her to wipe it. I am sorry, Nana, that we ever took you here for your birthday dinner. I’m sure your idea of having a decent meal did not include not having to sweat it out just by sitting in your seat. This place is always crowded and I suspect it has to do with the lobsters. The food is decent, I will admit, but clearly they don’t think their patrons need to breathe.

Amazing, real Chinese food. If you aren’t Chinese the servers might seem rude when they hand you forks, get over it, you’re probably the only white people in the place and that’s because it’s THAT. Good.

Our family association had a four table dinner outing here on a Monday night: Here is the menu: Blackened chicken soup Spicy lamb chops Peking duck Pea shoots in garlic Fried Chicken Twin Lobsters Fish Beef and asparagus Noodles Fried rice Orange wedges Sweet tapioca soup My wife preferred the similar outing we had at Ga Ga seafood, which had more seafood dishes, and more adventurous variety. Obviously Peking duck is a high priced item unusual on such a dinner. I was not privy to the selection process or the price. I did need a lot of hot water/tea with the spicy lamb. I liked the pea shoots dish. The fried rice portion I took had a lot of egg white. The tapioca soup hit the spot at the end of the meal.

We quite enjoy this no frills restaurant in Chinatown. The service is not the best sometimes but the food has always been great for us. Some of our faves are the eggplant and salted fish hot pot and the salt and pepper beef short ribs. :)

just finished my ginger and scallion lobsters(2), peapod leaves, salty fish fried rice, and sweet and sour pork. the food was fantastic, but what was even better was the service. although the waiters and waitresses never cracked a smile, they worked as a team. they changed my plate full of lobster shells, not once, not twice, but three times. giving me a fresh clean plate each time. when you first walk in you see tanks full of fresh lobsters, fishes, shrimp, crabs, and even eels. definitely a place to go for fresh seafood and authentic Chinese food. crowded, but you do get seated fairly quickly. a must if you like good Chinese food. I felt right at home with Cantonese speaking Chinese.

I was guessing this restaurant might not be a good choice for lunch but it was a truth. Staff service, tasty and circumstance etc. All of them is evaluated one star.

Good food once in a while. Not consistent. The waiters are obviously very rude screaming at you. I felt like each time I come here I would get ripped off. When the bill came, I didn’t get my card or cash out yet to pay. Was still eating the orange and one after the other the waiters and waitress came to get the bill. There’s nothing there. They’re waiting impatiently. It’s just like the Malaysian Penang restaurant that kept looking at your bill to see if you are paying or how much you will tip them. They’re so annoying! I ordered 3 dishes that would costs around $ 33 but then with tax and a pot of rice wouldn’t add up to $ 46 in total. Then tips would be extra $ 7. Make sure you check your bill before you pay. No more next time!

So WRONG!!! «Best of Boston 2007»? As I wait for a table for 5, I’ve been by-passed a couple of times by the attendants. We talked to them about the situation and they would say«Next one». Must be one of their famous lines in that establishment. Needless to say, it’s now over an hour — 8pm. Finally decided to BAG this place and head out to the New Golden Gate on Beach St. Their food is excellent and the people are courteous and friendly. Now, they deserve the«Best of Boston 2015». –NYC

Not my first time here. Jumbo has great seafood dishes but tonight I decided to get a rice plate for $ 6.00 and I think I made a poor choice. I ordered the hot chili pork on white rice and although the pork was quite tasty, the plate was loaded with very spicy chili pepper slices and not enough pork. And those peppers were so freakin hot I couldn’t even eat one of them so the dish was kind of a total waste. I ended up picking out the few pieces of pork and chased it with the rice. Oh well. Live and learn. This particular visit gets only 3 stars.

Ghetto, dirty, rag down, horrible customers(maybe its chinese custom to be loud and obnoxious when they eat together), & some of the BESTFOOD ever! I came for a very late night bit of food and was very judgemental because of how dirty their floors are. Also because the place looked like a Chinese food take out restaurant. The waitress came and i ordered just about everything I could. Food was great and service was fantastic. I guess you cannot judge a place by it’s look… rookie mistake. so why 3 stars? I hate all the other obnoxious customers!

The restaurant is located in Chinatown. When you walk in you will see at least 10 aquariums filled with giant lobsters, giant shrimp, eel, fish. We ordered salty fish chicken fried rice– really good, duck with taro– it was dry, fried lobster– the reason why I’m giving it 4 stars — really good!!! We also ordered the chicken tenders with watered down sauce. Service was good. Food came out in 5 mins… especially the duck. It must have been cooked already. Family friendly and clean.
