Not a big fan of the club atmosphere but this place had more of a bar/pub feel to it. Great cover band on Friday and would definitely recommend checking out.

Ok this review must be taken with a grain of salt because I was drunkity-drunk-drunk, but I had one of the best nights ever here. Now let me also say that I am not usually one for dance clubs filled with sweaty creeps, BUT the key here is to go with lots of friends and preferably a boy you like or are dating. I did not even notice who was around, just that my friends were nears and we were loving it. Tequila shots were a flowin’ and I had so much fun. Many hilarious recounts of that night have occured and we always talk about how we’ve never had more fun. Go here with buddies, be prepared to spend some cash for a night that will be worth it.

I’ve been here four times since moving to Boston about two years ago. I always havea good time, but I’m a live music junkie and I enjoy rocking out to cover bands every now and again… My trick with Parris is to get into town really early, get in and get your hand stamped. Then I go and eat something tasty to eat in the market. I would recommend pregaming if at all possible, the drinks are kinda outrageously priced, but it’s Boston, it’s downtown, it’s touristy and people want to drink so they get away with it… BUT, I can say the bartender I went to poured me a SERIOUS vodka and club. It was more like a martini in a plastic cup then a vodka/club, so props to him for that… The crowd here is pretty young, I’m 27 and felt«old» last night… I also felt really tall, where did all the tall men go? Overall, I have a good time here, when my friends come in from out of town and want to get the«Boston» experience I drag them into Fanueil and say pick a line… All the bars in that area offer one thing, a good time with good friends… Parris at least offers live music too… Oh one last note, come here with a group of people, the place is huge…

This place has sticky, wooden floors, sticky, wooden furniture, no place to sit down, and bad acoustics. The crowd tends to be younger, around the 21 – 25 year old range. The line that forms after 10 o’clock is absolutely ridiculous and does not merit waiting. In fact, sometimes you wait outside for an hour only to be let inside and be forced to wait INSIDE for another half hour before being allowed upstairs where all the action is. This is AFTER paying your $ 10 cover. Not worth it.

I used to call this place«Ned Divine’s» until I realized that they were two separate places. Ned Divine’s is a bar/lounge. Parris is next door where you dance though the two are connected. I’ve been on Saturday’s and Friday’s and it’s $ 5 cover before 9:00pm and $ 10 cover after 9:00pm. There is no cover on Thursday. What’s good: Live music. This can also be bad depending on the band. I’ve had totally decent experiences with the bands that play here. They do mostly cover songs of both stuff from the past and the top 40s. In between sets the DJ spins your usual top 40 hits. It’s fun to dance to and there are usual a lot of drunk people out on the dance floor past 11. What’s bad: Price of drinks. I was PISSED when my redbull vodka cost me $ 10. They used the crap vodka too. That sucked. I would just get beers. They serve Bud Lights in plastic bottles for like $ 3 or something. The clientele: It’s an assortment of young 20s and college kids and the occasional bachelorette party. I once saw a pregnant girl there. That was bizarre. I wouldn’t say it’s high class or anything, just the standard drunk young crowd. If you are a girl you might get felt up but usually everyone here is polite and it’s not an overly grind-up-against-you kind of place. Overall nothing special. I liked it a lot in college but now it’s kinda eh because it’s out of my way and you’re not going to meet anyone interesting there(or at least in my opinion). You can get a similar experience at Tequila Rain for only $ 5(though no live band).
