Small place on Salem st that rivals if not beats Reginas. Has a small bar and a handful of tables. Pizza is incredible. Reminds me of what Papa Gino’s pizza used to taste like when they opened back in the 60’s.

I’ve come here twice and can say that this place has the best calzones I’ve ever had. Ever. Both times we were promptly seated and taken care of. No one yelled at us. Also, the calzones.

I am obsessed. The pizza is thin and cheesy. And a good deal. My favorite pizza in the North End!

Rudest owner/manager I’ve ever encountered. He just stands around rolling his eyes at customers. Not worth eating at ever again.

I have eaten at Pushcart twice and both times have had great experiences! The most recent visit was with a group of 7. We were quickly seated and drink orders taken. The pizzas came piping hot and so tasty! The North End pizza(basically a meat lovers) was a little salty but delicious! We all loved the white margarita pizza. I will definitely visit Pushcart again the next time I’m in the North End!

Great place for a bite, sadly… the atmosphere is tense due to the stealy gaze of the large owner. That said, great pizza, great prize, good service.

Rude staff. Bad food. Went here for dinner on Friday night. The prices weren’t bad but my pizza was among the LEAST enjoyable I’ve ever had. The pizza was burnt and flavorless(outside of the burnt bottom). Also, I ordered ranch for my side salad and was told that they only had Italian dressing. That would be fine except the people beside me had ranch on their pizza so they had ranch. When the check came, they handed me a check with my food, my girlfriends plus the couple that was sitting beside us. I knew them but we were at different bar tops and didn’t share anything in our order. I told them I wanted just my girlfriend’s food and mine on a check and they told me to pay for everyone’s food on the check and to sort it out later with the couple beside me. Since the food was bad and the service prior to this was awful it didn’t sit well with me. It wasn’t until I told them that if they wouldn’t split the check, I wasn’t paying for any of it that they finally split the checks 2 and 2 as they should’ve from the beginning.

Delicious pizza! Owner, Angelo, made excellent recommendations and we watched the Celtics, Bruins, and World Series! Great busy small restaurant atmosphere, reasonably priced, great service. Terrific find after Boston by Foot’s Dark Side walking tour with Kurt. Happy circumstance.

Always great pizza. Always make a point to stop here when I’m in the North End. The garlic dipping oil for the crust is amazing.

The pizza I ordered here was good. Although the service was questionable. The man behind the bar spoke about his state of mind at the time and it was not pleasant. My partner also had ordered a beer which should have cost no more than 7 dollars at most, it was on draft, but it cost us significantly more. The liquor selection was also a bit odd, it could’ve been that they had run out of a lot, but there were no non-flavored vodkas or rums. It was not an awful place but it would not be a first choice. As stated the pizza was good, but the overall experience and cost wasn’t ideal.

Pizza was delicious– we went basic and ordered pepperoni. House salad wasn’t my style, Romain topped with mushrooms tons of olives diced tomatoes and balsamic vinegar and oil. Service was awful. Took forever for someone to come to our table. Long story short the man who seemed to run the place was extremely rude and short especially to the table next to us. His comments to the other customers even made us uncomfortable. Don’t order a soda unless you don’t mind paying $ 2 for a room temp can.

My girlfriend and I went to one of those Italian feasts a couple weekends ago and decided that we had not eaten enough arancini, fried ravioli, and cannoli. The line for Regina was out the door, so we went to Pushcart. My girlfriend claims she had been there before, but I have no idea when so I’m assuming it was a Tinder date with a guy named Salvatore or Giuseppe. I’ll be the first to admit that I think the North End is o-ver-rat-ed. It’s not the best Italian food, not the best pizza, and not the best pastries. The parking is atrocious and it’s mostly just tourists anyways. I’ve often heard from New Yorkers that Bostonians have no idea what good pizza is. Based on some of the 5 star reviews, I am finally starting to understand where they are coming from. The pizza itself tasted like old Papa Gino’s that was put in a convection oven. I would know this distinct taste, because I do that all the time. I’m guessing if you order a whole pizza, you get it fresh. But better than Regina or Santarpio’s? Not even close. It was odd that on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon where the line was out the door literally everywhere, this place was completely empty. I will also say that the staff does tend to smoke a lot of cigarettes(I would too if was forced to stand around all day). Also, when you order a soda you get a can with a straw(like that is normal). It’s not a ton of effort to put ice cubes in a glass and pour the soda over the ice cubes. I’d say a Diet Coke is probably the easiest drink for a bartender to make. Well, it usually is. Anytime I leave a review less than 5-stars I get an email from the owner, and based on other’s experience with the owner, I’ll probably end up sleeping with the fishes. I’d say stick to other places in the North End unless you happen to walk by and you’re dying of hunger.

If I could give this pizza zero stars I would. I ordered a Pepperoni pizza and received what looks like a frozen reheated pizza. This is an absolute waste of money and I will never go here again. I live in the north end so I’m familiar with other pizza options. If you name any other place in the North End, I guarantee it will be better than this.

The first time we got a pizza that was from a previous order and the lady even told that it was old. We decided to try it again, it was pepperoni and the cheese wasn’t even melted…

The pizza was great and we had a great time conversing with the owner. We sat down and spoke to him and our waitress the entire meal. We ordered«The Pushcart«and it was delicious, the onions were crazy good on it. Don’t know what all the drama with the owner is, he is hilarious, and the next time we are in Boston, we will for sure have another pizza. P. S. Anyone that quotes«The Godfather» is cool with me!

Totally empty restaurant at noon on a summer Saturday. We were a party of six, including my wife and kids from 7 to 16. Not an ankle biter or tantrum-thrower among us. My wife made the error of asking whether we could sit by the window. That prompted a big sigh and eye roll from the man in charge. When I asked whether that was a problem we received a tirade of verbal abuse and made our way to the door. No idea whether the food is edible but on the strength of the service I would recommend anyplace but this one. We had a lovely lunch at a Belgian frites place over near Fanueil Hall where the staff was was friendly and glad to take our money.

Was there a week ago and plopped our rears at the bar. The place was pretty full and after a weekend of seafood, I wanted a hot couple of slices and a cold beer. The bartender was excellent — gave us several dining options as we decided to get small pizzas. I don’t know who can eat a whole one as I wound up taking over half of mine back to the hotel with me. I got mine with sausage and mushrooms, which came out in less than ten minutes and was absolutely delicious. I’m not a fancy guy, and I read some of these other reviews before posting mine. I wasn’t expecting the finest pie in the world, and I don’t care where they procure materials for building one. My service was superior, I was fed in a timely manner, and my beer was cold. I also didn’t feel like I was getting robbed — the pricing was very fair for the amount of food I was given. A couple of women were sitting next to me that lived in the area and said they were regulars, and complimented my group on our somewhat eclectic topping choices. They lost a star for the draft system being down. Some guy was cussing up a storm over it in the cooler below deck from the bar. I found it more amusing than anything and a bottle is fine with me.

Great pizza however upon arrival the owner gave us crap for walking by his place, trying to go somewhere else and we came back(HUH?) The waitress was constantly outside smoking cigarettes. The ONLY good thing they have going for them is their pizza… The owner and staff are simply rude.

We came here for the second year in a row and had to wait 15 min for a table as it was packed on a Friday night while World Cup 2014 was playing on the tube! That didn’t bother us as we looked at other places down the street and the lineups were getting longer at all restaurants up and down the street! Ordered the Italian salad and a peppers and pepperoni pizza again and it was just as pizza should taste! Light fresh(a bit greasy) but so damm good! Restaurant is small but cheerful and service was solid! Highly recommend it as our go to place for consistent and solid Za!
