Rebecca’s Cafe

Hello,
I have noticed that Rebecca’s has changed the number of pieces of chicken from 3 to 2 and still charges the same price. 2 pieces of chicken in a wrap for 7 dollars? I don’t think so. I will officially never dine at a Rebecca’s Café starting today. I have told all of my colleagues and they will no longer be eating at your establishment. You not only didn’t take my review seriously, but you actually made it more expensive to get the normal portions inside the wrap. You have now lost several loyal customers and should think about keeping your customers happy instead of simply cutting costs to save money.

I’m not sure what is up with this location lately, but I work across the street in a business that caters and was given some free coupons to try it out. All three times I went (maybe it depends on the time?) the food options were dismal at best. Just not that many options out. The first time I went, I got a steak and cheese sandwich with caramelized onions that was on a non-​fresh white roll and the onions weren’t fresh at all. There was also roast beef thrown on there (not steak?) The other two times I went, I just went to the salad bar to be safe. Enough choices, but nothing impressive by any means.
I was pretty disappointed in general as I thought I’d heard better things about Rebecca’s food, perhaps from other locations. Sad to say, I don’t think I will be ordering catering from them.

Okay let’s break down the good and bad:
Good Breakfast:
Anything from the grill– my typical is a egg white veggie omelet
oatmeal
Bad Breakfast:
Bagels
Good lunch:
Salad bar– good selection and you can get a good salad for $ 4 – 6
veggie burgers
chicken tenders are decent– makes a good buffalo chicken wrap
Bad Lunch:
Premade food (burritos, pasta, quiche, etc) and the carving station– you are asking for a stomach ache
sandwiches and paninis
Other:
Iced tea is horrible
Cupcakes are okay
Cake is amazing. They are overpriced at 35 – 40 a cake but if you need one for a birthday they are sooooo good.

How much would you like to pay for your soggy fruit today? This morning I had to wait while 3 people consulted a calculator over my over ripe soggy fruit «medley». I’ve also come here for extra gross chicken salad wraps and coffee while desperate. I never walk out with a meal for under $ 10. SAVE YOURSELF the effort! This place sucks. Rebecca’s Café sucks. I have no idea why people in Boston keep reinstituting this gross establishment. We used to have Sebastian’s and now I have to walk 10 minutes for a big salad (for $ 10). But at least then it was worth it!
This Rebecca’s is extra special too, because the staff all take their breaks and lunch hour in the public bathroom handicapped stall. I love when people listen to me pee!
