Ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich on white bread for breakfast. I was charged $ 8.55. I asked the cashier how come it cost so much. He told me «because it’s grilled» I get to work and look online at their menu and a ham, egg and cheese sandwich is $ 3.99. So I was charged a $ 4.65 grilling fee? Or I was I charged more because I had no egg on my sandwich. I’m confused. I should have ordered Hash Bash for $ 8.99 — 3 eggs and corned beef hash, home fries and toast or Godfather $ 8.99 — 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 3 sausage, home fries and double order of toast or Local 2222 $ 8.99 — 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes and home fries. Guess I should have paid more attention. More bang for my buck if I would have just ordered an entire meal for 8.99 instead of a «grilled» ham and cheese sandwich with 2 pieces of ham and cheese. I just got pimped like a $ 2 crack whore. DONOTEATHERE! You will get ripped off!!!

This place is much bigger on the inside! Lots of sandwich and breakfast options! They made breakfast for us at lunch time. Good food, vast menu. Neat diner-style restaurant with family-style seating and some«bar» seating. Friendly people. I highly recommend it. I got corn beef hash, eggs over easy, home fries. All very good. Less than $ 10 for a big plate of food and a drink in the financial district! Just remember they are not open for dinner!

I’ve only ordered from Sacli’s through«DiningIn» but I find their sandwiches to be so good, especially the roast beef and the buffalo chicken sandwich. I know salads can be mad so easily but I am obsessed with their Greek with chicken salad. The portions are huge and always so fresh. I don’t really have a bad thing to say about them. This is the go to place for me in a pinch.

If you’re looking for a lunch consisting of chewy cold bacon left over from breakfast, overcooked chicken, and wilted lettuce, look no more! You’ve found your utopia! Now just be prepared to shell out ~15 for sandwich, chips and a drink…

Scali is professional and dependable. They are fast and accurate. After my misadventure with Freshii nearby(you can see the review for that), I had to spend extra time(and money) going to Scali to get a proper breakfast of bacon and eggs. Consistently prompt, accurate, and no nasty attitude. I will return to Scali.

Will never go again. Food is really good but the guy that runs the place(not sure if he is the owner or not) is beyond rude. I am surprised he is still there if he is not the owner since he is not a good brand for this place… so he must be the owner. And if you don’t order off the menu he charges you a crazy amount extra. Not worth it!

I’ve been going to Scali’s for some time now, and I slowly started drifting away from them… Their food is decent but what I don’t like is they will mess up your food and say it’s your fault. I ordered bacon, they said I ordered sausage… That’s weird because I don’t eat sausage. Then I ordered home fries with no onions and the guy says he can’t make it without onions because he’s too busy. Well I’m allergic to onions sir. When you tell them it’s wrong instead of fixing the issue, the guy answering the phone will argue with you about how that is what you ordered. Their poor customer service is why they got 2 stars.

Scali makes an egg sandwich. Yes, an actual egg sandwich cooked on a grill top and not in the microwave. And it’s on a roll(what Bostonians call a bulky roll), not a bagel or an English muffin, or some white bread. And it’s good. So very, very good. Possibly the best(and one of the only) egg sandwiches in the area. They also have quite an extensive sandwich menu, with lots of drinks and other snacks. We only ever come here for egg sandwiches, but I might come back for lunch one day if I’m in the area.

I go more often for breakfast than lunch. Ham, egg & cheese on a croissant for less than $ 5. .. yes please. They have some breakfast plates that are a good meal deal too. I always see blue-collar guys fueling up for the day when I visit. There is more seating here than in a couple of other close by lunch places.

One of the best chicken parm subs in the city, the breading on the chicken is delicious and the sauce is spectacular!

Tried out some froyo. Turns out as good as it sounds to mix in, Twix is best consumed at room temperature. Applause for having a ton of choices, though, and still being pretty tasty.

I love Scali. Their breakfast sandwiches and iced coffee are to die for. I actually have cravings for their bacon, egg and cheese on a plain bagel. It’s the perfect blend of melty, gooey cheese, fresh egg, crunchy bacon and a soft, warm bagel. On top of that, service is always quick and friendly, and prices are reasonable. A great find in the financial district!

Scali is a pretty solid breakfast/lunch spot in the financial district. They have lots of options and offer fair prices. Sometimes I go and I’m less than impressed but then there are days like today when I have an amazing lunch wrap and think to myself why don’t I visit Scali more often?! It’s always packed come lunch time so be prepared for an «order quickly and keep it moving» customer service approach from the staff. I’m not offended as it’s typical in the area. I’m torn on where to rate them, so with that being said– three stars seems like the best fit for Scali.

Decent stop to pick up lunch during the week. Happens to be close to my office, so the location is a big plus. Not amazing by any means, but they do have an extensive menu and the food is generally pretty consistent.

I was looking for a change of pace for lunch today, so I took a walk. I traveled far and wide around the downtown area, nothing really appealing. I slowly made my way back to the office, when I walked by this spot and saw they took Level up. Sure, what the hell right? Get a little discount being my first time here… sure! For some reason all the other spots in the area had lines out the door, Scali’s was manageable. I grabbed some kind of chicken cutlet sandwich, from a guy that made it who clearly didn’t want to be there. I have to say that the breaded chicken was some of the best I’ve had. It was moist, warm, delicious. Overall the sandwich was on the small size, as now 30 mins later, I’m still fairly hungry. But it was a decent sandwich overall. From the reviews on here, this place might sound more like a better breakfast destination than lunch. I’m not sure I’ll be back, but to be honest, it wasnt totally awful, but not totally unbeleivable — so I’ll give you a 3 Scali…

Needed a quick egg, bacon and veggie fix before the gym. This place did that just for me. Here’s the scoop: Bellman Steve of Intercontinental Boston recommended it Upon arriving, it was eggs made to order, freshly cracked in front of you! Fresh tomatoes Bacon was okay… not fresh i don’t think Coffe hit the spot. All for under $ 10 in Boston! 5 stars because of location, convenience, speed of service, and friendliness.

I got up early enough on this Saturday morning to grab some breakfast. The waterfront area was pleasant and quiet, but lo-and-behold, it was madness in this little café. Luckily, we beat the rush by a few minutes. My sausage, mushroom and cheese omelet for $ 5.49 here was times and times better than a $ 10 one I recently had at an up-scaled French restaurant. It was perfectly seasoned. No salt was added. That’s rare for me while eating eggs. The homefries were delicious. No ketchup was required. Even more rare for me. Save the black pepper that I can’t live without, my breakfast platter was perfect without any additional condiments. Not to mention Scali’s enormous portion. I was able to finish only 1⁄3 of my plate, but felt very satisfied. And what’s not to like about sharing a table with waves of construction workers in the area?

Scali is the bee’s knees. Scali is perfect in every way. Scali makes my stomach, and me, very very happy. The menu offers a variety of options. Sandwiches, meals, bacon, everything cooked to perfection. They make a mean bacon egg & cheese on an english muffin(yes, I said english muffin). They make great pancakes. They have outstanding specials of the day. Did I mention you could buy their marinara sause to take home for the weekend so you don’t go through Scali withdrawal? No? Well consider yourselves informed. The wait time varies depending on your order and the line. Scali gets packed around lunch time(understandable), but it is worth the wait.
