Everyone at this restaurant is super nice and welcoming. I am absolutely in love with the Thai tea, and the sushi was not only good looking but was delicious. And I totally recommend the duck fried rice.

I am surprised this place has such crap reviews. Came here randomly on the way back from the Theater with my roommate and there was not a single person in here. we did to-go and they were fast, efficient, and did brown rice. The food was REALLYGOOD. I got a spicey tuna and a salmon/avo. Both were great and I would for sure be back. They do delivery in the South End have a nice, cozy seating area, too.

Really wanted to like this spot since it’s so close to me however my one dish was sub par. I had the boneless chicken hot pot, which consisted of chicken wings(with bones) and overly salted mushrooms. I’ll go again to see if there other dishes are okay. The interior looks great, however the dish I had was not tasty.

awww. jae’s please come back!!! i’ve been to shun’s twice since my first review and it was even worse. i thought i would at least try again, but two times more, bad food and overpriced. i miss the old servers, too. some of them are not there anymore.

Dramatic improvement over what Jae’s had become. The new signature dishes are actually very good. Spicy steak tips were excellent overall. Next time I’ll try the ramen.

Used to be Jae’s Café. They told me they were just changing the name. They lied. I ordered my usual and it wasn’t nearly as good. Fewer shrimp, smaller shrimp, but the main problem is the dish lost all flavor. Also they got rid of my second favorite item on the menu, the unagi. So long, Jae. Shun. Whatever your name is now.

Really good food with excellent service. Stylish pan-Asian food dishes. Generous portions. We went here once soon after it opened. The dumplings we ordered as an appetizer arrived in probably 2 – 3 minutes. The Bi Bim Bop was enough to feed 2 and served in a sizzling pot. Would definitely go here again.

Food was excellent. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, from chinese to Japanese to asian fusion, to choose from. Shun’s Kitchen, formally Jae’s Café, has revamped the entire restaurant. The atmosphere is not only cozy, but the food has a different flare, which I enjoyed. I definitely recommend the grilled eggplant, sautéed bok choy, mango chicken, and chicken lettuce wrap. Sushi is still great if not better.
