I always love stopping by the Lithuanian Club for some«soul» food! A summer favorite is the cold borscht with potatoes just yummy! Everything is homemade like how my grandmother used to make it, but better! The Kugelis is so light and fluffy and the spirguciai(sautéed bacon bits and chopped onions) just make it perfect! Imported beers and spirits from Lithuania too. Cash only, they have an ATM if you forget.

This place is delicious! The thought of anything stuffed in a potato(Zeppelins Cepelinai) doesn’t resonate with me usually, but it is packed with flavor! The Zrazai is delicious as well, meat stuff with veggies. I will be back to finish this review! I just had to start it on my phone!

The restaurant is only open on the weekends and is in a basement of a business building with no signs outside, very inconspicuous and not easy to discover by just wandering into it. But I’m so glad we did: the food was great. We ordered a zeppeline cepelini and a cheese crêpe for dessert, both were delicious. Service was quite fast and they actually separated our food into two plates for us when we told them we were sharing. Lots of people there were speaking some european language, which I usually take as a sign of authentic ethnic food. Highly recommend it and I’ll certainly go back myself to try other dishes from the menu.

I love this place. It’s definitely an experience — a good one! First of all, the entrance is a little dramatic and equally scary when you ring the bell and walk down the stairs to the fluorescent lit, bare bones establishment. The décor is really lacking but honestly you come here for the difficult-to-find Lithuanian food. Once you have figured out that you need to go to the kitchen to order food, you’re good to go. The borscht is warm and tasty and homey. The potato pancakes are crispy. And, the cheese dumplings are awesome loved the tangy farmer’s cheese. As was mentioned on the other reviews, it’s also a really inexpensive way to gorge on carbs and sausage. Yum!

I can’t say enough about this secret heaven. Or maybe I shouldn’t and keep it all for myself. Being Lithuanian helped and i was directed here by a fellow Lit. I had vague memories of it as a baby in Southie. My grandmother was a member and spent a lot of time here. But I digress. The door is in an office front and you have to find the name on the buzzer. Once buzzed in, walk down the stairs and enter the kitchen. If you’re looking for ambiance, go elsewhere. The secret here is possibly some of the world’s greatest food. We had Ceppilinis and Zarzai, followed by a fruit crêpe. I’m sorry, but there are no words for how fantastic this food is. The crowd was small until the football game came on TV and then started to fill up. Only opened on Saturday and Sunday, I’d call first to be sure. AND they helped me with my Lithuanian!

Traditional & authentic Lithuanian comfort food. Super delicious every time & everyone who works there is so nice. Try the koldunai with sour cream and bacon bits!

To be honest, this is the only Lithuanian game in town. Not well known outside the LT community. Decent food, and a good introduction to Lithuanian comfort food.

Surely, it must be impossible to know about this place unless you know someone who knows about it. It’s in what looks for all the world like a church basement(without the church), acoustic tiles and windowless room and tile floor and all, and you have to be buzzed in. But once you’re in, you’re in for Lithuanian food, which is varying combinations of meat, cheese, dumpling, gravy, whatever, good things piled on other good things and fried and greasy. If that isn’t amazing enough, well how about cheap booze? $ 4 for giant bottles of perfectly alright beer(Svyturys, to be specific, an above average Euro-lager). Ordering stuff is a bit awkward, but friendly, and you need to have cash, and your phone won’t work down there(blessing? curse?), but it’s such a fantastic secret place. It’s worth seeking out.

Fantastic I ordered a Lithuanian beer and Zrazai it came with a side of cabbage which was amazing and other veggies. The service was very friendly, though ordering food there is a little bit unique, you order at the kitchen, which I thought was nice because I got to see the nice clean cooking area.

This Old Country comfort food was amazing. It brought back such good memories for me and my friends. I especially liked the potato sausages and the sauerkraut was amazing. Also it was so good to hear young people speaking the language. Can’t wait to go again. Too bad that the parking is awful and they are only open on weekends. Prices can’t be beat!

i had a great meal here about a year and a half ago. the food was great, traditional lithuanian fair. nice selection of popular lithuanian beers. service was friendly and welcoming(by lithuanian standards) and my partner and i had a wonderful meal. i had the koldnai and blynai with sour cream which was wonderful. the best part was the lithuanian beer.
