I’ve been here several times. Their smoothies are pretty good. I’m hooked onto the strawberry peach smoothie.

The banana banana smoothie sends shivers up my spine it is so good. It is only 430 calories which makes for a great breakfast. Good service and convenient location.

Not bad as far as train station food booths go. They have a large amount of smoothie options, including their boosts, coffee blendeds, and non-dairy option. The service is always friendly. I can’t comment on their coffee drinks as I am not a member of the coffee generation, but I have liked everything I have had from them so far. I am a sucker for holiday drinks(gingerbread, pumpkin, eggnog, peppermint, etc…_) and they had a bunch to choose from over the Christmas/Thanksgiving Noe that Robek’s Juice closed in the financial district, this seems to be the only worthwhile smoothie place in Boston. And even better, I jave to switch Ts at South Station anyway, so VERY convenient to and from work.

I’m slightly hooked on the blueberry pineapple smoothies and that is a wonderful thing, considering that I have run around town looking for a decent smoothie for quite some time and always came up short.(Yes, this means even you, Starbucks.) They’re a little expensive — with tax they’re over $ 3 for a small and over $ 4 for a medium(haven’t even bothered to look at the large for many reasons…) And nine times out of ten, the smoothies taste like fruit and candy and not all milky and watery and iced. I have limited myself to going once a week for health reasons and quite honestly, that is a very arduous task!

I’ve been twice and ordered the same thing both times: Bee Stinger. A blueberry banana concoction with bee pollen and protein. Whatever. Personally, I don’t believe one word of those promises in a powder. Well, at least not from this place. This is just very convenient to the office so a quick summer time lunch item for me; hence the three stars. Pricey? For fruit and powder… yep. A medium will set you back over $ 5. For lunch… not too bad.

The only thing that has compelled me to write a review of this mediocre smoothie stand is its«Stripper Squeeze» smoothie. Apparently it’s supposed to help you lose weight??? In any case, I had to read the sign three times to make sure I was reading it right. Anyway, my smoothie was an impulse purchase made en route to my parents’ place. It was cheap(under $ 3), so I went ahead and ordered a peach mango smoothie. Imagine my surprise and disdain to find my «smoothie» tasted like melted ice cream. Only worse. It tasted incredibly artificial and was an oddly thick texture for being«low fat.» Haven’t tried the coffee, but the smoothies are most definitely not good eats.

Their smoothies are excellent. I used to be hooked on staw/bananana but am a fan of penut butter banana now(with a side of hep b thanks to the contaminated penuts). The muffins are awesome. Chocolate orange is an orgasm in my mouth and I have had a few of those! oh wait… no wrong reverse that. Coffee is good too. Inexpensive for s. station and the help is very friendly

Pouring a bunch of warm milk into a hot cup of coffee does not constitute a latte! That’s just a coffee with, well warm milk. With a Cosi, Au Bön Pain and soon-to-be-arriving McCafe within a stone’s throw of your establishment, there is nothing preventing people from acquiring their caffeinated beverages elsewhere so they can be made properly. With nothing but chains for as far the eye can see in South Station, I’m certainly going to choose the one that makes my order correctly and Surf City is not that chain.

I was lured in by catchy names and my overwhelming desire for fruit and frozen yogurt on a 6 hour train ride. You can not imagine how sad I was when I took my first sip of a strawberry banana smoothy! I have serious doubts as to whether any fruit was used in the making of it… but what offends most of all is that instead of frozen yogurt or ice cream or something delicious they add their special ‘smoothie mix’ to every blender-full. This sounds relatively innocuous, but I found it to have a very fake/chemical taste and just acted as a space-taking filler. I would take a quality boloco smoothie over this anyday! other commuters and travlers — do not make the same terrible«fruit-less» mistake as I! Just avoid buying food at South station.

How many places can you got and get a slippery slope or a loose lips smoothie. These things are awesome. I like to think of myself out there on a sunny beach or out in the back yard after a hard day of cutting the lawn up when I drink one of these fruit drinks. There are lots of combinations to choose from. They offer additives to make the fun one notch better for you. Things like bees pollen. ginko, ginseng and such. Now I cannot remember all the great things stuff like this is supposed to do for you. I just like to have a place where I can go to get a touch of summer taste in the middle of winter. Even if the winter has not started out just yet. They are in the main course of South Station. Right in the middle of all the doors to the train platforms. They have coffee and some baked items as well. So if you find yourself in the South Station heading out of town or even arriving. Stop by and pick yourself up a touch of summer.
