By God, please save yourself some time. Poor customer service immediately upon arrival, outrageous prices across the board, and a decrepit space full of messy wires and defunct electronic products for sale. Simply one of the worst businesses I have come across in my entire life. So yes, please, turn the other way, smile, and enjoy the extra hour or two that I have unfortunately thrown down the drain at this place.

Let me tell you a story. I called on a Wednesday in early February. At that point in time, I just had my laptop and IPhone. I was told that it sounded like I needed a new hard drive in my laptop. They could do it, but because of all their other work, it would take a day or two to diagnose and a total of 3 or 4 days to repair, so I figured a week. I called back to specifically ask if I should also bring my external hard drive. Bill laughed and said it wasn’t needed because they would clone the hard drive. I brought the laptop over. I paid their $ 65.00 down payment on the work. I was quoted &165.00TOTAL and told someone would call me once the issue was diagnosed. A week later, I called back and was told that I needed a new hard drive and now the total cost was going to be $ 265.00. I was also told they weren’t sure when it would be finished but someone would call me. Two weeks later, I called to find out what was going on. Now I’m being told they were unable to clone the old hard drive and all my files were gone. Once again, I offered to bring in my external hard drive, which I did. Finally, I called back the following week and was told they were unable to retrieve anything but pictures from the external hard drive and now the total cost was just under $ 302.00. So what did they do besides replace the hard drive that I have to pay almost double the original quote? NOTHING! I gave the lap top to my best friend a day later along with the external hard drive. Not only was he able to restore Microsoft Office for me, he was able to restore my documents from the most recent back up to the external hard drive. Would I recommend Tech Computer? Not even to a Yankees fan! They made no effort to meet the time frame they set up, they were unable to retrieve data from an external hard drive and they charged me almost double their original quote. Nobody bothered to contact me, I had to chase them. Now I haven’t had my lap top for well over a month and my best friend has done the lion’s share of the data retrieval at no charge, whereas they charged me almost double for doing nothing but what they said was needed, replacing the hard drive! Nope, I wouldn’t even recommend them to a Montréal Canadiens fan!
