This restaurant is in a good location. The first time I came here I ordered food with some friends. I waited 20 minutes for my food, usually when I order food I doublecheck for cross-contamination(I have a shellfish allergy). My friends ordered shrimp sushi and I ordered vegetarian sushi. when I got my food and asked about the food handling they took my food away and told me there was a cross-contamination. The lady who was talking to me had a little bit of an attitude while I told her about my allergy. All they can do is a refund, so I waited 20 minutes for nothing. No solution was offered, just that they could not accommodate my allergy. It is a nice place but unfortunately they cannot accommodate people with allergies, For which reason I give them one star.

Pretty good for typical Chinese takeout– I like that they have the option of brown rice. The interior of the restaurant isn’t very big but cute and good for a quick bite and the staff was friendly. Most of the reviews seem to complain about its delivery service, but it is in the middle of Boylston Street so slow delivery is to be expected. One complaint I do have is about the sushi. The rolls are pretty small and kind of expensive for the size. $ 6.50 for a salmon and avocado roll? I’ll stick to the rice plates.

A drunk college student’s dream. There food is great for the price. They do inexpensive Chinese food right. Their delivery is amazing. They delivered through Hurricane Sandy, the Boston lockdown after the 2013 Boston Marathon, Christmas, they are impervious to natural disaster. Their food is great sober too. There is a wide array of sushi. It’s done in a timely manner and still delicious. You cannot go wrong with Teriyaki House.

If I could give this place NO stars for what they put me through I would. The food at this place is not bad, your average Chinese restaurant food, although the white meat chicken teriyaki is decent… However the service is atrocious and their digital know how and presence is devastatingly bad. They should not be on GrubHub or Foodler or anything! On three seperate occasions I have ordered from their Boylston street branch through GrubHub only to have the food never show up which in turn had me on a round robin of phone conversations with them, their South Boston location as well as GrubHub, in the end I got the food 2 – 3HOURSLATER, no food is worth the aggravation they put you through because of their utter incompetence. Also with all due respect to immigrants(I myself being one), no one there speaks a lick of proper English which makes your complaints and frustrations multiplied by ten. I would never recommend this place to anyone it’s truly horrible on all levels and even if you’re just walking in for some take away I’m sure they’d find a way to disappoint you.

Foodwise, the quality is what you’d expect to get at a food court in the mall. Nothing awful, though it will probably lead to some indigestion later, but nothing to rave about, either. I ordered online and was given an ETA of 45 – 60 min. I understand things can get busy and deliveries can take longer than the estimated time, but the food didn’t wind up getting here until almost 2 hours later. After 90 minutes I contacted support who discovered the food had JUST left the restaurant. By the time it got here it was pungent, cold, and chewy.

Rude service! We ordered over $ 50 worth of Chinese food and sat at a table while we waited for it to be ready. When it was ready, we started to eat it because we were waiting on a friend to show up. Someone came over and told us we had to leave because we had ordered it to go. We said we had changed our mind and would be willing to pay a waitress a tip since we were sitting at a table. They insisted we had to leave. There wasn’t even anyone waiting for the table, and we had been sitting there the whole time we were waiting. Plus, it’s the type of place you order at the counter and then go sit down. Can’t believe they kept insisting we had to leave and stood there and waited until we did! Food is decent and relatively good price but not worth the rude people!

Got delivery thru Foodler for 2. Took an hour, but their estimated time was pretty exact. Ordered during dinner time(7pm) on a Saturday night. Expected to be busy. So order ahead if you are hungry! Chicken Teriyaki on rice & Sake(salmon) roll $ 12.50 Comes with Miso Soup too. Soup was actually very flavorful and lots of tofu, which I love. I asked for extra teriyaki sauce for the chicken; it was delicious and they use Japanese rice, so it was extra soft. Eel Avocado roll, salmon roll, and salmon skin roll. Sushi was average, simple enough. Salmon skin was nice and crunchy. Also ordered the mango green tea with lychee jelly. It was really sweet, but very cold & refreshing. They forgot to give us chopsticks for the sushi! Bummer. Fork & sushi didn’t work too well.

They give meaning to the phrase«mystery meat.» Have gotten sick every time I have gone here. I feel awful for days after. I’m assuming it is this place because it has happened more than once and I physically cant eat anything else after going here. Wouldn’t recommend to my friends, worst enemy, Vladimir Putin, or Donald Trump. 1⁄10.

I’m so jealous of all the Berklee students, because they have such a great late night Japanese spot to go to! Mostly everything on the menu is around $ 10(typical for Asian take-out), but the food is awesome and the portions are huge. My boyfriend and I split the Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice and it was more than the both of us could handle. We also got the Crab Rangoon appetizer to start, which was delicious. The wait time was longer then I expected, but I wasn’t in a rush, so this didn’t bother me.

Absolute worst service. After we waited an hour they only delivered half of our order. We called and they didn’t offer any discount. Had to demand our money back after they offered credit! The half they delivered tasted like ass too.

Teriyaki House is one of those random places in Boston that can easily be overlooked. But, I assure you, this place offers a lot of dishes that you might find surprisingly delicious and satisfying. Super affordable as well! They have a lunch special which I think runs from 11−3pm every day except for weekends. I highly recommend their lunch specials. It is a great bargain and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. If you are not coming here for lunch, no worries. I recommend their rice bowl selections. I personally really like their pepper chicken. I must warn you it is super peppery lol but its super delicious. I also highly recommend their eggplant with garlic sauce. It is one of the best eggplant dishes I have ever had in my entire life. In fact, I haven’t had any luck finding a place that prepares eggplants as well as this place. Lastly, I also HIGHLY recommend their spicy chicken wings. They are double-fried to perfection. They are super crispy on the outside but the meat inside is super moist and juicy!

not sure if you are in the mood for healthy sushi or junky chinese food? teriyaki house is the answer, which offers both. delivery is fast and fresh, and prices are reasonable. I really enjoyed the rainbow sushi roll, which was very fresh and had nice large pieces of tuna, salmon, and avocado. the free california roll was also pretty good and there was an additional little nori cone with crab, cucumber, and avocado that we enjoyed. we also ordered the teriyaki steak and lobster rangoon from the chinese menu. the steak was a little fatty but very delicious with a great savory sauce. the crispy lobster rangoon had a nice lobster flavor and a good balance of cream cheese.

The Food at Teriyaki House is really good, but the service really isn’t, that is why they don’t get five stars. I had the General Tao Chicken, it was great. I paired that with Peach Bubble tea, my favorite and I was not disappointed. The bubble tea was by far my favorite choice. My only complaint was that I called ahead to have my order ready, and I still had to wait 15 minutes when I got there. The up side is my food was piping hot and fresh, I just didn’t have enough time to enjoy it, before I had to go back to work. However the Bubble tea made the wait easier. If you are in the area, want good food, and don’t mind a little wait, this is the place.

I have ordered a number of times from this restaurant using Foodler. Last night my food was delivered to the wrong location and today the driver wants me to leave work and walk to his car to get the food despite ample parking. I would not order from this place.

I ate dinner here with a friend and it’s exactly what you would expect out of an establishment named«Teriyaki House»… lol. I got the spicy teriyaki chicken rice and it tasted slightly better than Panda Express(not a bad thing, I like panda express!) But don’t come here expecting authentic Japanese food. It’s pretty good for a fake-Asian place, and they have a good variety of options ranging from orange chicken to sushi. Prices are decent as well — I’d recommend if you’re not looking for anything special/in particular, and just want to grab a bite.

I had a pretty disappointing experience with Teriyaki House my first order. The resto had left a pile of menus on our porch, so we assumed they delivered. When we called to order(and we’d pick-up if we had to), they weren’t really sure if they delivered. So it took a little while to work that out. Then my partner spent awhile getting our address input and placing the order. We were on the phone a long time. Finally, they couldn’t get their credit card machine to work, so the woman said she would call us back. Never happened. Really disapponting experience and we didn’t even get a chance to eat.

If you went to Berklee and/or lived near Berklee, you’ve been to Teriyaki House. It’s kind of like a right of passage for all incoming freshmen and new renters to come to Teriyaki House, drink bubble tea and have a heart-to-heart about the woes of college/relationships/your phone service/etc. The food is pretty good — better than decent, but not, like, exceptional. I’ve never been a fan of their sushi, but I’d definitely recommend the crab rangoon and strawberry bubble tea. Atmosphere is cool inside, but we always sit outside in the summer for the sun and people watching.

Nom nom nom. I was actually surprised with the kind of restaurant it is when I first walked in. 3 registers in the back corner to take your order and then tables along the side and front. I was totally confused whether this was table service or take out and you can sit down, and apparently it’s both. Well, the hubster and I decided to sit down and order from a waitress and we got the chicken teriyaki bowl and pork lo mein. Both were pretty good but completely drenched in sauce. I wished for more vegetables as I ate away at my fragrant noodles, but alas, it wasn’t meant to be. The service was fast, the place was busy, and the food was cheap. If I had the 1AM munches and wanted some food I’d definitely hit this place up and order out.
