Awesome pizzas, in particular the clam. Beer selection is excellent, all around great addition to the neighborhood.

This place is awesome! Parking was easy and I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. The draft list had a wide selection of really great craft beers. The bartender Brian was super nice and incredibly knowledgeable while helping me select beers. The pizza was delicious! We also ordered a special, the charcute –house made bacon, sausage, pork chop, duck leg, and potatoes roasted in duck fat! It was out of this world(and very reasonably priced). The atmosphere and décor was lovely. I sat at the bar but the dining room looked cozy and family friendly. I would highly suggest checking this place out– can’t wait to go back!

I checked this place out last night after my manager had been raving about it and loved it! The bar is very nicely decorated and must have about 20 taps going across, and I think the exposed brick adds a very rustic feel to the place. They’re only 7 months old but have a great Charlestown location just off of the Freedom trail by the Bunker Hill monument. I was there on a Tuesday night and it definitely had a neighborhood bar vibe to it with some families and locals stopping in, along with some business people. We ordered the fish cakes with citrus aioli and mussels appetizers and then the salami pizza. You could get a great view of the wood fired oven from the dining space and the pizza was so delicious. The waitress recommended we come back for Brunch and I’m definitely planning to do so. Great beer menu!

Within walking distance so go here quite often. Off the charts craft beer selection, bit pricey, but par for the Boston course. Food is always great, although don’t expect anymore than what they can make in a brick pizza oven… but, if you have done your research prior to deciding on The Fork, this should not be a surprise.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city! We stumbled upon this place looking for something else and happens to find it. This is a beer drinkers bar that happens to serve some great food. The Yukon potato pizza is excellent, and if your sitting at the bar, the wood fired oven feels like a giant fireplace on a cold night. Definitely a great spot in Charlestown. Also, the charcuterie board is excellent!

If I could give this place 10 out of 5 stars I would. Incredible menu, beer selection, and wine list. It’s got a fantastic vibe and is also family friendly. The best meatballs I’ve ever had in my life, possibly the best pizza I’ve ever eaten, definitely the most exotic pizza. The food combinations are truly incredible, if the squash, kale pizza is available, get it! It’s sweet and savory and so inventive. The crust is to die for! Also the owners may be the coolest, nicest people you’ll ever meet.

What a great addition to the Charlestown neighborhood. Love the layout and space. Lots of character. Brewers fork has one of the best and most unique beer selections in Boston. Pizza is solid. Thin and crispy and not too filling(perfect while drinking)

Can I give The Brewer’s Fork 6 stars? Highlights include: Ambiance; happy people congregate around a large bar area and among several tables surrounded by a chic rustic décor to create a great casual vibe. Wide selection of carefully selected craft beers. Best charcuterie platter ever. Pizzas; their combinations and crust. Staff is fun, professional and knowledgable about the beers and menu. This place is reason enough to live in Charlestown. Pleeeeease franchise so I can have a Brewer’s Fork in Silicon Valley!!!

LOVED the ambiance of this place… and parking right out front! Super cute, chic and a ton of fun. The service was a little lacking(we pissed off our waitress because didn’t know what beers we wanted) and it made the experience feel like we were in the wrong as the customer. We got three pizzas for five of us which was perfect and it ended up being an inexpensive night(especially for Boston!). Would have liked some more family style salads… or appetizers. It’s definitely just a pizza place… would return if asked, but not running back.

As a lover of beer and all things carbs, I have to give this place 5 stars. I’ve been there twice and both times was more than pleased with my beer and pizza order. The pizza dough is amazing, it actually has flavor and a nice chewy texture. Usually I throw away pizza crust but this stuff I’ll happily eat. The beer selection is extensive. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and beverage. The service was good both times I went. The atmosphere made me think I was in Greenpoint or Williamsburg, very neat. Seating options could be better, it’s loud and I was a bit uncomfortable, but after a beer or two I forgot about that.

I’ve had the takeout a few times, great pizza. I keep meaning to go down and eat-in and drink their taps bc I like the look and feel of the place. Probably best pizza in Charlestown. Or 2nd best(Figs.)

This place was exactly what I was looking for while on the Freedom Trail: interesting, local food that is priced reasonably with great beers, wine, and ciders. It’s worth finding– just a block or two off the trail between the shipyard and Bunker Hill. The atmosphere was modern, comfortable, and the staff was friendly, casual, and well-informed about the food. The oysters and salami pizza were delicious! If you are looking to get away from the touristy areas, this place is for you!

LOVETHISSPOT! Almost hoping it doesn’t get too popular(which I know — then I shouldn’t be writing this review — but I gotta give them love as business owners) — because I don’t want it to become too difficult to get a seat on their sweet patio! Great beer selection that runs the gamut from sours to sessions to ales to porters. And the food is NOJOKE. Pizzas are delicious and out of a woodfire oven, and for apps — I recommend the tuna crudo(their most popular) and the meatballs. Just be forewarned, there isn’t an extensive menu — but if you want some delicious apps and a great pizza — all washed down with a fantastic beer, then this is your spot. They also have a good cider selection. Also, I don’t fancy myself an interior decorator — but the décor is really cool too. I’d classify it as a «modern industrial.» Well wuddya know — maybe I do need a new profession. But maybe the best part is that we’ve only been there twice — and we already have inside jokes with the servers. They’re a lot of fun, really knowledgeable, and make the experience all that much more enjoyable. Love this place. Oh also — there always seems to be plenty of street parking around this spot from those coming from outside of Charlestown. I mean… just A+ on all fronts with this joint.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a robust beer menu and a lighter meal. The beer selection is outstanding. Although, I found the menu lacked the ‘sticks to your ribs’ versatility typically sought after when sampling hoppy/full-bodied brews. The pizza is solid no question — it’s just in a tough market with so many other awesome pizza joints within a few miles. Maybe I’m just conditioned to desire pub-fare(i.e. burgers, meatloaf, and steak-tips) and my critique is missing the mark, but would be pumped if more savory comfort food accompanied the brews. All-in-all, the dynamic beer list wins out for me and I’m sure I’ll be back for more!

Outstanding beer list– we enjoyed a terrific Avery Raspberry sour & a couple solid local pilsners. The pizza crust here is other-worldly, we tried the mushroom & it was so satisfying– umami made less overwhelming by the peppery arugula greens. We were«upsold» to the scallop ceviche but happily so– it was as amazing as advertised. The pickled veggies were 9 different varieties all with their own sour-zesty uniqueness. It was super busy(we are visitors, guess this place is the new hotness… deservedly so!) and the only complaint would be no noise cancellation panelling in place, conversation was difficult. But we were still very happy to have dropped in.

This place is AWESOME. I have been long awaiting this place to open & was so pumped to come here on a Saturday night. We arrived around 8pm and were seated within half an hour probably. It is really busy and lively which is so fun for Charlestown because it is kind of a sleepy area of Boston that doesn’t have too many good spots. The pros: –awesome cider list. They have your classic Downeast and then so many other great ciders to pick from! Amazing! My favorite was the 25 dollar bottle. Dry but also sweet. –food was great: cheese plate, flat bread salad, and the oysters were all awesome. –the play list @ night is like Nelly and Chingy from the early 2000s– soo good. soo high school. –Service was excellent; our waitress(can’t remember her name but she is from Atlanta) was awesome and also plays the Viola(random and cool!). Wasn’t over the top and pushy but attentive enough to feel taken care of! –Awesome owners! Go for sure! They also do lunch and will be starting brunch as well soon! –Tamara

TLDR: The pizza is basically a better option than a bowl of peanuts to go with your beer. The atmosphere in here is great, nice place to sit. Staff was all friendly. The beer selection here is great and that is their main selling point. We ordered two pizzas and both were pretty disappointing. Way too much dough, and chewy in the middle. It was basically a big thing of bread with some tomatoes in the middle, and frankly too much pepper. There was supposed to be cheese on it and there was like, one little string of cheese hidden in there. I was really not impressed at all with the pizza. I would have preferred to just get a big NY style cheapo slice than this.

These guys are off to a good start. My wife heard about Brewers Fork and mentioned going, I didn’t pay much attention until she told me they have Trillium on tap(scuze me? Did I just hear you right?). So naturally we went as quickly as possible. The beer selection here is unearthly– for this reason alone, you should go. Now. The menu is brief but thoughtful, mostly coalescing around their wood fired oven. We started with nachos that came swimming in a beer-based cheese fondu(adapted from their cheddar beer soup). It was d’lish but needed a loaf of bread to sop up the remaining cheese bath — and yes, this proceeded to happen. The picked veggies and wood fired root veggies killed it on the small plate scene. The pizzas had, probably, the best dough I’ve ever had — it was bubbly and chewy with a sour dough tang that could’ve been had enjoyed with nothing riding on top. We got the margarita and the short rib/brussel sprout pizzas — classic and decadent. Both pizzas needed more salt(and we were unanimous in this assertion). I think a finishing salt on top would’ve nailed it. Nice job — good luck and hope to see your beer list soon again.

This place is new in Charlestown, just opened up. The backstory on this place is an epic of boston permitting and hoop jumping and we are all lucky that the owners kept with it. The pizzas are perfect and even better than the chef’s historical pizzas from previous restaurants. Oysters are fresh and though not traditional in a wood fired grill concept they offer a light way to start the meal. Standout small plates, though I suspect they will change with seasons, are: cheddar and ale soup, Cooney’s mussels, crispy maple pork belly, and oven roasted meatballs(love the sheep’s milk cheese). Beer and wines are hand selected and are lots of things I haven’t tried. So far every recommendation I have been given has worked out to my liking. And lastly the service is great, even knowing they just opened and any new spot has growing pains. The owners are long standing restauranteurs in Beantown and have a large and growing following from former customers, friends and colleagues.(Full disclosure I fall into one of those categories). I’m looking forward to making this a staple in the rotation of Boston spots.
