Not a fan. Company ordered pizza and salad occasionally from this place, and their pizza was just okay. Some time they are good, while some time it tastes like greasy cardboard. Plus it is free so i have no complain.

The sauce is different here from other Viga’s — the tomato sauce. Service is okay but a little cool/aloof. Same menu as the other locations but they do seem to randomly use the«add on» sticker for unknown reasons.

Viga has been a recent discovery a mine that has quickly turned into an addiction. With affordable options and quick service, Viga offers everything from sandwiches and salads, to pasta, pizza and specials. They frequently rotate their options and most items are under $ 8. They even have lunch combos available to patrons. I’m particularly fond of any of their sandwiches and wraps which feature their delicious, rich pesto sauce. The one I most frequently get is their Treviso($ 6.59) which is a grilled chicken breast, pesto sauce, provolone, rice and tomatoes in a spinach wrap. Filling and pretty darn tasty to boot. I’ve never really had an issue with their service which is always very quick and never seems to get fazed by the lines. The place is pretty small though and does get pretty cramped. Occasionally there is some line confusion too but nothing too serious. On my agenda: to try their pizzas which I heard are awesome(and giant!). I haven’t had their salads yet either and plan on doing so. So far the sandwiches and wraps have kept me happy and coming back though. If you’re in the financial area and in need of a quick, cheap lunch, look no further.

We catered Viga for a company lunch today, ordering a variety of difference sandiwches: veggie, turkey, ham, and the chicken breast. I had a couple chicken breast sandwiches on the flatbread that were very good, however, were slathered in a bit too much mayo. Other than that, had a positive experience and will order again — Best, Charlie

The Food is good, BUT the employees need to change their gloves after using that wet rag to clean the counters. I was so grossed out, I couldn’t even order and walked out! This should be a priority. A few people in line, said OMG I never noticed that. now they will. Please make the employees change gloves for each order. Better to have tons of gloves thank people getting sick!!!

I really like their food. Wednesday’s chicken parm lasagna is my favorite. Chicken cutlet on wheat focaccia is also a favorite. Priced right for the lunch crawd. The set-up or layout of the place is horrible. They expect you to line up in certain queues depending on what you want to order and then get out of the way for the next person to order while you wait for yours to be made and then fight your way back to the front when they call your order.(run-on sentence intended for effect.) It was terrible the first few times I went, before I figured out what was going on. even now, I don’t like it and tend to wait until after the lunch rush.

So inconsistent. Chicken parm sandwich is my go-to but its a hit or miss. It’s either good or the chicken is like rubber. Won’t go back for a while.

The focaccia bread is awesome. Fast service, reasonable prices. Limited seating but it appears to be mostly takeout anyway. I had the chicken and steak with tomato relish — delicious!

The Turkey Club had two thin slices of turkey and stuffed with lettuce and tomatoes. The bacon bits were good and plenty full, but where’s the turkey? C’mon Viga, your better than that!

If you want a good, affordable, quick lunch consisting of Italian food, this is your spot. The pizzas are above average, although extremely hearty. The pasta dishes may be the most cost-effective, and are also impressive. The sandwiches are made with fresh bread, and should also satisfy your expectations.

Always good — no complains! I love the fact that I can pay with Level up. They also have some sort of cupons and if you buy from them 5 times then they give you $ 3 off your next meal or if you buy 7 lunches you have $ 5 off the 8th one. I LIKE! Bello is my all time favorite!!!

Great food options under one roof… pizza, pasta(small size portions available), hot and cold sandwiches/wraps. My two favorite lunch choices: Chicken caesar wrap Torino(grilled chicken with portabello mushrooms, provolone and sundried tomatoes) — though I request to have regular tomatoes instead of sundried They get the lunch speed down — quick in and out — generally within 5−7mins.

Definitely a lunch fan! My coworker and I were in town for a client meeting and wanted something quick to grab to alleviate our rumbling bellies. and we were recommended to Viga! I ordered the Naples Salad Wrap and my coworker ordered the buffalo wrap. Both were really good and super filling! Buffalo Wrap — My coworker had literally been raving about this buffalo bleu cheese sandwich he always gets in Jersey, so he was already craving buffalo something. Of COURSE, Viga would then carry a hot buffalo wrap. He was skeptical about the taste, but was really surprised with how well they carried out their chicken prep. Super moist and yummy, he was really happy with the purchase. Naples Wrap — My wrap was a cold wrap. and again, I worried about the chicken. The Naples Salad was pretty good! Lots of mayo and shredded thin like tuna. I really liked it. Chicken salad is hard to pull off when you have giant chunks of chicken, so I definitely appreciated them simplifying it. The grapes inside were little bursts of sweet/tart that really added another dimension to the wrap. Overall, I really enjoyed the food here. They were quick and efficient. and have a separate line for each and every one of their food types.(Pasta, Hot sandwich, cold sandwich, etc.). Will definitely be back :)

Viga is a cut above fast food, but still pretty run of the mill. I’m not crazy about their sauce, but it’s not nasty Prego or anything like that, just kind of blah. And their chicken parm is always disappointing. I can’t put my finger on exactly why, but I think it’s that they have a cafeteria style steel container of breaded chicken cutlets, which they use on all kinds of chicken sandwiches. So when you order yours, they grab a cutlet, put it on some bread, put some sauce and a slice of provolone on it and send you on your way. It just doesn’t work quite right. It’s not the worst, but it’s the kind of place I always regret going to, and only go to when I’m super lazy. Plus, all the consultants I work with eat at Viga, which makes me respect it even less. Maybe that’s not fair. But they’re mostly the kind of people that look at me like I have 4 heads when they first meet me, because they have never seen anyone moderately«different.» And think Panda Express and Pizza Hut are«ethnic food.»

My office has been using Viga to cater lunches for 60+. We love the quality, the value, and the variety. Their online order form makes ordering from them easy. And Priscilla, their Catering Manager, follows up after every order and delivery to make sure everything is all set. We have ordered a «basic» pasta lunch from them: chicken and broccoli in Alfredo sauce(lots of juicy chunks of chicken, delicious broccoli, perfectly cooked pasta); stuffed shells(a huge fave of my office); various salads(always perfectly fresh and crisp; the Campo with its creamy goat cheese is my personal favorite). We worked with them to create a build-your-own salad bar as a «healthier» option and it has been a huge hit. It took some tweaking to get amounts right, but now I think we know what my office likes: various greens; platters of fresh and roasted vegetables; yummy protein like bacon, chicken, tofu, and tuna salad; bowls of freshly shredded cheese, olives, and croutons. We have had platters of their hearty and delicious calzones with the fillings always perfectly cooked and ample. Of special note: Their dinner rolls are to-die-for. I could eat them with a bit of their balsamic dressing as a meal unto itself. Also, their tiny cannolis are the first thing people zoom in for at the dessert end of the table. Viga has happily accommodated my requests for dairy-free and vegetarian options. We use them more than any other local caterer and have never been disappointed by their food. I have never been inside one of their locations, but I have my fingers crossed that they will eventually 1) offer lunchtime delivery for small, individual orders and 2) extend their catering delivery hours to include weeknight evenings and weekends.

Ooooh, so good and nicely priced… not cheap like LA but probably as good as it gets in Bastin, as the locals say. We had pizza, veggie sandwiches, salads, stuff with pesto :) and ate it at some super cool park with music — I think they(who’s they? I don’t know) paid a guitarist to entertain us on the lawn… so cultured, but what happens in Winter? I digress… Food — tasty, kind of rich with all the dressings but still yummy. Maybe because they cater, they understand how hot food textures change and dealt with it accordingly. One of our sandwiches was hot and of course the pizza — they held up really well and didn’t get soggy and gross. 4 stars Even though our order was to go, I was tempted to eat there if it weren’t for the thousand things we had to do that day. Their ambiance is warm and comfortable. Perfect for rainy days. Otherwise go to the park! 4 stars

Shite. I swear the partially decomposed vegetable matter in my salad today is the same stuff I picked out of an expired salad container in my fridge 2 days ago. I gotta start locking my compost bin. Viga is supposedly an Italian restaurant. I couldn’t find the word in the Italian dictionary at , but one meaning of «viga» in Spanish is «balk», as in «I was thinking of eating at Viga, but then I balked.»

A good option for a quick, inexpensive lunch. I just wish they would stop overcooking their pasta! And I’m not sure where the chicken is in their weekly special chicken lasagna — the small cubes of protein sort of get lost in the ricotta and sauce. I love their bread despite the oils easily seeping through the papersack. It comes in white or wheat — I prefer the white. They have a few tables if you want to eat in, but they do mostly a brisk take-out business. There is a frequent diner card where you receive $ 3 off on your 6th visit(with a $ 3 minimum purchase per visit) and $ 5 off on your 12th visit. This location is a stand alone, and is not related to the other Viga locations at Federal Street, in Pi Alley and on the corner at Stuart Street. Fix the pasta and I’d change to 4 stars easy.

If Viga was running the famous breadlines in the U.S. after the Great Depression there would have been no actual«line» to speak of, this place is insanely efficient. It felt liked seconds, not minutes, after I placed my order I was paying for it at the counter, and this was after watching 5 people in front of me do the exact same thing in almost no time at all. The food here is pretty basic Italian sandwiches, pasta and pizza for the most part, but if you’re in a rush at lunch it sure beats the hell out of traditional fast food, with probably even quicker service. I decided to get the sausage and pepper sandwich( ), which I had to ask for some marinara sauce on top, because otherwise it’s literally just some sausages and peppers in bread, a bit too simple for me. It was still a little lacking flavor wise, but at least the quality of the sausage was pretty decent. I would not recommend getting on the foccacia bread as I did, because it’s just too flimsy to support the meat. As a result, this can get somewhat messy, so grab a handful of napkins and be careful if you’re wearing white, as you’re likely to have some splatter damage. One of my co-workers ordered 2 slices of pizza, which I only mention so I can include the picture( ) of them. Freakin huge. I can only imagine what an entire pie of this must look like!
