TCB Carpets

They do installation for Lowe’s — I had to wait two weeks for the apt — the installer Jason King arrived a little late (the time promised was between 9am and 11am — when he arrived he was outside on his cell phone — he told me in a not friendly way to wait until he was finished — he then came inside (no protective booties) and said he has a personal problem and that I would have to reschedule — still he wanted to see what I wanted done — we came downstairs and he abruptly walked to the front door saying I can’t do it today I have personal problems — about one hours later (after I complained to Lowe’s) he came back to my door –no apology just in a harsh manner asked «still want me to install»
I do not want him in my home — you can imagine with is attitude what kind of job would have been done — I just hope Lowe’s finds a different company to do their install.
Lowe’s did call back and said they could come back in 4 or 5 days to do the job (TCB) I am not sure I want to deal with them at all — so I am at a stand still — my products are all paid for as well as the installation charge — I asked Lowe’s to send me a list of products I have purchased so I can perhaps pick up and get another installer on my own.
Apparently Lowe’s only has this one installation company — they need to rethink their choices.
The tile I order has been discontinued but they have enough for my job so I am stuck with their product as it has to match the existing tile.
I would like to cancel my review — I was angry — they came back this evening — we realized it was just a bad day — They began the project and will be done tomorrow — Lenny was great to solve the problem and Jason is a very nice guy

They put this really squishy pad underneith the wall to wall job they did for me. Its like walking on sponge. Its aweful. When I complained sbout the quality of the carpet that they sell they told me high count carpet isnt made anymore. Thats not true. I asked for low pile what I got was high. When I complained they told me it was my own fault for not inpecting the carpet before it went in. They justified their mistake with the notion i would get used to it. Exactly 7 days after the job was done they show up without asking permission to enter gated community waving legal papers threatening to sue if I dont pay the balance immediately.

Lenny the owner helped me pick out the right carpet in the right color that would go with existing carpeting in my house. He sent two men over to install who worked hard, were very polite, and left everything clean and tidy. The job entailed moving some furniture, installing carpeting, and stretching some existing carpeting. Everything looks great. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.
