Why are 99 cent shrimp cocktails always served at fast food joints? Hmmm, maybe it’s because they don’t wanna pay anyone to actually SERVE it to you to keep the cost down.
We tried this one out to compare it to the one we had at Fremont. This one was half the size of the one at Fremont although, they didn’t douse the shrimps with sauce till it was inedible. They give you a separate container of sauce… very good!
These shrimps weren’t bad. They lie on a bed of cabbage which gives it a slight kick — much better than boring lettuce.
There is only one guy working behind the counter. We waited about 10 mins to get service and ate the shrimps in about 3 minutes. It’s very very slow. There is also other stuff like hamburgers and hotdogs, but hey, the dogs here about 3x more than what we paid for at Fremont. That’s a definite rip off!
