I’ve been a customer off and on for years. Customer service has gone up and down but I have had a great stylist for a time so kept coming back. New management took over, I schedule a brow wax, rec’d my confirmation email this am and just found the doors locked with a sign that they are out of business. They clearly did not inform employees, as instructions to collect their checks were on the door. Really poor form. Would it be so hard to cancel your appointments?!

Lacy is AMAZING! My sister and I both got our hair cut by her and we are so happy with our styles. Even though we came in with groupons, she really took the time to understand what we wanted and give us quality cuts. We are customers for life!

I had an excellent spa day! :) I was able to get an appointment for body scrub, mani/pedi and haircut with one day notice! The scrub was great! I also had a fabulous experience with my mani/pedi. very thorough and relaxing! I have very difficult and extremely thick hair and have had trouble getting a good haircut before… the girl who did it(I wish I could remember her name!) did a fantastic job! She is new and has only been there about a week and you would never know it. she also did my mani/pedi. She trimmed it and thinned it and it came out perfect. much lighter and healthier and still has all of my length! Thanks so much! I will def be back!

Hillary is a miracle worker! I called to book a massage appointment for the same day and they were able to fit me in about an hour later. This was fantastic news considering the knot in my back that I’d been suffering with for a week. No amount of rubbing from my partner could loosen my muscles — but she did it! She nailed it like a boss! I walked away floating on air, feeling like a new person. Plus the introductory price for new clients was an added perk. The space is so much larger than I had imagined. I’ve passed by on my trips to Glacier Ice Cream, but hadn’t considered how big the space really must be. Between the salon services, pedicures, manicures, and massages in addition to the numerous seating areas — good heavens! They made a fantastic use of all of the space. One star was lost for the amount of noise outside of the massage room. Unfortunately, one of the spaces is just outside of the nail salon. As you can imagine, ladies like to chat it up mid-pedicure — and reasonably so, but I could hear several bits of conversation perfectly. Before I went in, it was clear that staff in the nail salon did not consider their proximity to the room — as they were awfully loud. I can understand this to a point, but when I brought it up during check-out, the staff at the front desk gave me a shrug in response. Also, someone brought their small baby to the nail salon, so my massage was occasionally accented by fussy squeals. Who brings their baby to a nail salon? Between the acetone and nail dust from emery boards, I’m convinced it should not be considered a baby-appropriate environment. So for all of that mess combined, I must deduct a star. But let me reiterate: Hillary was amazing! From the luxurious locker room to the relaxation area(with both cucumber and lemon waters) to the well-decorated massage room, the atmosphere was primed for relaxation. I just wish staff could have kept the chatting and the baby moans to a minimum.

I’m giving this 4 stars for my laser technician, Nancy, and 2 stars for the salon based on the cancelation policy. I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal and saw Nancy for the package. She’s really great and friendly. Even though, at certain times, it can be a little painful, she’s able to distract me with conversation. The overall salon is nice. I don’t think it’s too dated like other people have mentioned on here. The only thing I don’t like is the cancelation policy! I can understand if you flat out don’t show up, or have a reasonable excuse for canceling but I missed a session because my flight coming back into town was delayed due to snow and when I got home my car was buried in a couple feet of snow with only an hour to spare until the appointment. Even though I called a couple times to give a notice and then to reschedule, the very next day, I was still charged in full for the session I missed. I think that’s bad business if the person makes an attempt and does immediately reschedule.

My wife and I got married in Estes Park, Colorado and after our wedding we went into Boulder for a relaxing spa day. I am generally not the type of guy that would go to a salon and spa but it was a special day so I relaxed and enjoyed myself. The entire experienxe was very relaxing and I felt extremely pampered. I learned that Finishing touch was under new ownership when I met the owners. They were very accommodating and ensured my wife and I were taken care of. All of the employees were pleasant and did everything they could do to make us comfortable. We got a couples massage as part of our day and I couldbt have been more pleased. The ambiance was relaxing and allowed us to let everything go and enjoy the message. Overall, I would recommend to couples getting married or just looking for a relaxing escape.

The stylist I saw a few times for a cut and color was decent but my 1-star review is based on the management rules and practices. I was scheduled for a cut and color and then because of circumstances out of my control, I couldn’t make my appointment time. Apparently, management at this salon will charge you the full amount of your service, if you cannot come at your slotted time(if you don’t move your appointment 24 hours ahead of time). I called twice but they couldn’t offer me another time that day and if I didn’t come in at my slotted time I would be charge $ 122. The simple truth is ‘life happens’ sometimes and you don’t have 24 hours of notice to give a hair salon. I would have been ok with them charging me a fee BUT $ 122 is EXTREME especially since I called the salon twice to try and mitigate things when I knew I wouldn’t make my appointment time. I’m a type-A ultra planner and a respectful person and the situation above is rare for me BUT Due to the inflexibility of management, I will NEVER spend money here again. This hair salon isn’t customer service oriented and their policies assume all customers are inconsiderate jerks. Stay away from this place if your life isn’t 100% predictable! Also, the last time I went to this salon I heard the owner and a stylist get into an explosive argument because the stylist’s mother had cancer and she needed to take time off to take care of her mother. It was incredibly awkward to hear this very personal argument that went on at the front of the store. Even without the insane charge for missing my hair appointment, the owner is incredibly unprofessional. Stay away from this place!

I stumbled upon this spa/salon as I was in need of a massage ASAP. It’s really quite deceiving at first glance it appears to be like a boutique but as you walk to the back it’s massive. The massage rooms are really nice as is the waiting area. There are locker rooms with showers if you want to change previous to your massage. The staff is really friendly and accommodating! They offer a membership for 35 $ a month that gives you discounts for services and product. My massage was good and the therapist had a good vibe. I’ll definitely be a return customer maybe even try a mani/pedi next time

I went here the other day with a groupon for a mani/pedi combo and was impressed. I thought my nail tech(I can’t remember her name, but she was from Hungary) was very sweet and I think she did a great job. Her massage pressure was nice and the polish on my toes and the shellac on my fingers are top notch. I enjoyed some of the other techs that were working as well. They all seemed nice and it was a nice environment. I will be back for mani/pedis.

I used to go to this salon and spa in the past, but I hate them now and will never return. As a regular client, I was mistreated. My favorite stylist was fired because she was trying to accommodate my needs, after I became chemically sensitive to many products and had to use very specific ones to avoid reactions. FT over charges for mediocre services. I can’t stand the gloomy atmosphere here. The décor is very outdated. Parking is horrible in this busy strip mall location. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I came in today for a HydraFacial and microdermabrasion appointment that I purchased through BoCo Deals. The front desk checked me in and had me fill out a new client form, which basically asked for my information and allergies. Standard stuff. I was then escorted through their huge maze of a salon to a dimly lit waiting lounge for my aesthetician, Jasmine. Jasmine was very nice and explained every step of the appointment. I had never had microdermabrasion done and was a bit nervous about it. She was great and the appt went smoothly. There was a bit of water leaking from the ceiling due to the recent flooding and storms but other than that the salon exceeded my expectations. They have a membership system where you pay $ 35/year and enjoy 10% off services, among other perks, that you can share with your friends and family! I’ll come back again for this same service and look forward to trying out some of their other services!

Update 2÷25÷13 Finished my treatments. The spa was nice, however after a total of 12 treatments(both here and at another shop) I did not experience the reduction I was promised. I did receive excellent customer service though while I was there, so I upgraded the update from a 2 star to a 3 star, on account of the tech being so friendly and nice.

Went in with a Groupon and got a nice Razor-Cut here. This is just a nice little salon with plenty of parking and right off the main drag in Boulder. I got a great Razor-Cut here. It took me a few tries to style it myself at home, but I got the hang of it. I hadn’t had a razor cut in a long time, and I forgot how much weight it removes and how much texture it gives your hair. Very nice.

I had a spa-wish gift card and this was the closest place that accepted them. I have to reiterate what a few other customers wrote below — it is more of a salon than a spa. I got great service on my manicure and pedicure, and since it was part of a special they were running, I also got a good deal. I did think it was a little weird that I was sent into the bathroom to scrub my own nails but. .. my nails look great and my feet and hands feel good. However, I also paid for a bikini wax. Ummmmmm, not so good. They took me into a room and had me put on an adjustable«skirt» for the waxing. Two things about this — for one, since that skirt has to be hiked up for the waxing anyways, what is the point? Also, a second point, it had hair and lint all over it so it didn’t give me the feeling of being in a clean spa environment and most spas drape with a towel or robe! The waxer offered that I could wear my own underwear, so I did — mistake! She got wax ALLLLLLOOOVVVEEERRRME. It’s fine if you need me to drape with a towel, or have me wear the plastic undies just say so! But don’t get wax on things I paid for. At the end of my service she asked me if it looked«even» but didn’t offer me a mirror to check. I would NOT go back there.
