I had two previous bad piercing experiences with a gun and my daughter wanted her ears pierced for her birthday. I researched gun vs needle. Decided to go with needle. So happy with my decision! She did amazing and did not even cry. Iris was amazing! They spent a ton of time with us and explained everything throughly. They even let my daughter pick the music she wanted to listen to. Wonderful place and wonderful staff.

Wow, this place more than exceeded my expectations! Jacob greeted me and was friendly and helpful, and Luke walked me through all of the jewelry and piercing options in which I was interested.
Luke walked me through the jewelry display case and the benefits of one piece of jewelry versus another, and never once did I feel as though he was pressuring me to buy the more expensive items. The selection is amazing and the prices range to fit anyone’s budget.
Impeccably clean store and piercing facility, it get very clinical and professional. I had my daith pierced today and I’ll definitely be back to replace the lesser quality helix jewelry I got from a competing store.
I would recommend Iris to anyone interested in a piercing. Thanks, guys!

The best piercing experience I’ve ever had! Jaymes was extremely professional and informative (and hilarious). The place itself has an awesome vibe, and everyone made us feel extremely comfortable as soon as we walked in. The receptionist was very attentive and informative, and answered a ton of questions that we had while we were waiting. They also have a pretty extensive selection of jewelry of all types. Would 100% return and recommend to anyone looking for a clean, professional, and fun piercing experience.

Got my Tragus pierced here and my ear lobes repierced after they closed up. This place was awesome she took the time to be extra sanitary and did my piercings with ease and hardly any bleeding. Definitely returning here for future piercings and maybe even a tat cuz it was a good experience

Got my rook pierced at this piercing shop in December of 2015 and it was the best piercing experience I have ever had! I was pierced by Sam, who was extremely knowable and experienced and did an excellent job. Lisa who was working as the receptionist also was very helpful and customer friendly. Over all GREAT experience and will definitely be returning and recommending! Love this piercing shop!

We came in on small business Saturday after the mass text we got earlier in the week for the specials they were having for the weekend. SUPER smart move. I got a new ball for my tongue and Steve helped me with stretching my ears up! I love this place!

I got my nostril pierced by Samantha yesterday, which is my 4^th body piercing. It was a great experience and the best I’ve ever had at a piercing shop! Right away my friend and I were warmly greeted and told about the Small Business Saturday specials. I was given input and direction of what jewelry to choose, but was not pushed in any direction. The staff was super patient with my indecisive nature and explained the entire process in complete detail. Samantha made my feel very confident and comfortable throughout the piercing process. As a whole, Iris is a professional, fun, high quality piercing shop.

This is an updated review. My first 5 star review was for the outstanding customer service I received even though I did not have my piercing done at Iris. This review is for the top notch piercing done by Jaymes. Again, the staff was really helpful in picking out a piece of jewelry that I would be happy with for a long time. They were so patient with me as I went back and forth between two pieces. The sterilization process was explained to me and the studio was clean. I cannot recommend this studio enough! As my first review said, you get what you pay for! It is worth it! And Jaymes is AWESOME!

My friend and I went in to Iris yesterday and Monica and Jaymes did tandem piercings on both of us. They made us feel really comfortable and relaxed and were very professional when dealing with sensitive matters. The store is very clean and classy and they only use the best jewelry around. I love my piercings and I highly recommend going to Iris if you want the best!

This place is clean and tasteful, with well appointed display cases and knowledgeable customer service. They even had a good selection of dermals.

Yesterday my sister and I decided to add onto our current ear piercings and I live close by to Iris and had walked past it many times so we decided to walk in since we were already on Pearl. Not only does their jewelry collection look like it should be in a museum but the staff, especially Callie, was so knowledgeable and friendly that the whole process was very enjoyable and I got a great new BVLA sun ring for my tragus!!! Super happy and will definitely be back for more piercings!

I’ve been to Jaymes for help changing a cartilage piercing (needed to put in slightly larger gauge) which he did gratis, and then a few weeks later for a new cartilage piercing! I came in with one idea and after taking a look at my ear, he made a suggestion for a different, more creative piercing. I went for it and love it (even my non-​pierced hubby loves it). Great overall experience and the shop is beautiful. Love that you can just walk in! Maybe dangerous but that’s ok :)

Great place!!! Beautiful selection of BVLA and Industrial Strength jewelry. And Jaymes was incredibly knowledgeable! My friend came in to get her industrial bar taken out so she could get a couple keloids removed and he provided a lot of insight as to why they had developed, how to avoid them in the future, etc. I just got my industrial jewelry changed out, but even during that brief and painless process Jaymes was easy to talk to and very friendly! Would recommend to first time piercees and piercing regulars alike! :)

I had a daith piercing done this weekend by Jaymes and absolutely couldn’t be happier. He does excellent work at the same time being funny and keeping things light to ease any anxiety you might have. The other staff member was just as personable and knowledgeable (wish I could remember her name!). The space is beautiful too. I would highly recommend Iris and Jaymes in particular to anyone looking for a piercing.

I usually don’t write reviews but I have to say this is the best piercing shop I have ever been to. The staff is super knowledgable, humorous, friendly, and the products are reasonably priced for such high quality jewelry and service. I will defiantly be coming back and referring everyone to this place.

I got my nose pierced today by Jaymes. Very professional and gave me good tips on piercing in the professional world. I’ve had my nose pierced 2 times before and it just didn’t work out. I couldn’t really put my finger on why, maybe I got bored or didn’t really want it– more like an impulse? But after getting pierced this time around I realized why… No more L or corkscrew rings, instead Jaymes gave me a (sorry for the lack of knowledge here) straight bar ring with a plate at the bottom (inside of my nose) and a rose gold push in top. I don’t feel it tickling me or bothering me at all. I’ll definitely be keeping this one in this time :-)
I spent more than I want expecting, that’s probably the only remark that I have in the slightly negative realm.

I am so lucky that Iris is close to where I work. It’s on Pearl St and easy to get to by foot. I was inspired by a teammate’s nose ring and I needed to replace one for myself. I found the place on Unilocal and I came in.
The place is clean and very presentable with much attention focused on display cases. The display cases have very appealing arrangements. It made me want to replace my current gauges for the adornments they had.
When I entered, I was able to have quick conversation with the coworker. He mentioned prices and sizes. I was not sure what my diameter was.
The process to get my new ring in took a little over 15 – 20 minutes. The coworker who put in my nose ring was gentle and showed sincerity when asking how I felt throughout. Now, that’s care.
I am coming back soon for a new piercing!

This is the first piercing studio that I have been to and felt completely comfortable. Both times I have been to Iris, Anna has greeted us, the second time we were in she remembered that we had been in before! She always lets us roam around and is always willing to check on any information we need on any of the jewelry. Jaymes is also awesome and remembered my boyfriend and I from our first visit. I have only gotten jewelry replaced so far (two nostril piercings, philtrum, and conch), but he is always willing to help change out the jewelry and is so gentle and knowledgable. I will definitely be getting my next piercing from him! Such a great personality.
The last time we were there a family had come in to get their daughter’s lobes pierced and they worked so well with her, and Jaymes even went out of his way to get a chair for the mom.
The jewelry is amazing and well worth it (gold for daaaays). I originally got my philtrum pierced by Luke Horton at Mantra and followed him to Iris. You can’t find jewelry like this anywhere else. This studio is also APP certified (look it up and do some research!) Definitely a customer for life, I’d recommend everyone!

So happy to be on foot today (would certainly not have stumbled upon this gem while on my bike).
For starters the space is just beautiful. As noted in other reviews there is an incredible array of unique and beautiful jewelry (megalodon fossil earrings, hello!).
While perusing the store I was greeted by Jesse. He was happy to discuss questions I had about a possible new body piercing. I do want to note that he was extremely discreet (another employee came out while we were speaking and he crafted his words so that we were able to continue our discussion without anyone knowing what specific piercing we were talking about). I must say this made an awesome impression.
I’m happy to refer my friends and colleagues here for their piercing needs.
