Weaver’s Dive & Travel Center

I recently stopped by Weaver’s location to look at some gear and had the pleasure of working with both Audrey and Jeff. I have been to most of the dive shops in the Denver area trying to find one that could become our dive shop and I can gladly say that I now have a place I can call home.
Audrey took her time to work with my wife to ensure that we could find a BC that would fit her and provide a woman’s perspective on fit and comfort. It was great to find someone like Audrey that was not only technical but concerned about getting my wife into the correct gear that fit her well and would provide years of comfortable dive experiences.
Jeff is a superstar as well! You can tell that he truly cares about the people that walk through the door and treats everyone like he has known you for years. Jeff went out of his way to share the knowledge he has gained over the years and teach me a few tricks while getting our gear ready and I greatly appreciate it. Anyone can sell something but you can tell Jeff really cares about his customer, community and the shop.
Weaver’s is a great shop with employees that really make the difference.

What an experience! I signed up for scuba open water certification class with Steve Weaver and his team thinking it would make for fun future adventures. What I ended up with are genuine lifetime friends and an entire new social life. I can’t express enough gratitude to Steve, Steve, and Scott for walking me through this fun process from sign up to graduation. It started with excellent service and just got better. From the first minute I showed up to the pool for the first class I don’t think I’ve stopped smiling. I got the attention I needed to feel safe, educated and like I was part of an inner circle of wonderful friends. With the education I received I feel comfortable to take on any dive alone, however I couldn’t imagine it would be half the fun without these guys by my side. I’m now signed up for my open water dives and I’m doing it with the instructors who will be my dive buddies for life. There really is no substitute for what they provide.

If you are a scuba diver and find yourself landlocked in Boulder, this is the place to see. Not only do they have a good selection of gear (and the option to special order for fit if you aren’t a standard size) they organize fantastic dive trips. My husband has been diving with them for years, all over the Caribbean, the Galapgos (with a side trip to Machu Picchu) and Mexico. They also do trips all over the world. Their trips run very smoothly. The travel is well thought out and the resorts outstanding for dive quality and comfort and convenience. The trip leaders are always lots of fun and my husband has met interesting other divers. A diver can travel with a non-​diver for a vacation option but since my husband takes his diving so seriously and I barely swim, I prefer him to just go with this group. The travel agents here can also put together individual non-​dive vacations. Weavers also teaches Scuba and my husband has used their classes to update his certifications. Diving is not a cheap pursuit but the quality of the experience here is well worth it.
