Needs updating like crazy. Parking is hell. Inside isles are tight and clustered. Lots of senior community members like to come here so try to go on an off time. Selection of meat is sad. The one in Hillsborough is much better. Morristown is even greater because of the large facility and food court. Staff is good and mostly friendly

It’s amazing how a store this unnecessarily massive, which contains so much stuff(read: shit you don’t need) can lack so many common ingredients I find at the significantly smaller groceries stores I regular near my home in Boston. Also, completely nonsensical and unintuitive store layout.

Best place to shop in the area. Store is organized well, staff is friendly, and they have almost everything that i need. My favorites are the extensive bread isle, bakery, and of course the deli! Always clean, and you can get in and out quickly if necessary.

It’s okay, but it isn’t as good as Stop&shop in watchung. From what I’m finding, they are just as expensive. Shoprite isn’t well organized in terms of health foods; everything is mixed in and their selection of organics just isn’t as good. I just can’t find anything I like more about this shoprite, other than that they stock organic chicken. I guess I have been spoiled

Hands down one of the best stores in the area, the staff is professional and courteous. Always helpful, the prices are good plus they always have good sales.

Out of the other shop rite’s in the area, this one is definitely my fave! I love the fact that they have fresh food out such as the«hot food» bar and the salad bar. Everything tastes great and is fresh. I work nearby so sometimes I buy lunch and it’s great being able to buy real food and not having to resort to the frozen food aisle. This shop rite is clean as well and they have EVERYTHING you could ever need.

I have posted pic’s of proof of how terrible this store is. I will continue to pop in to take pic’s but not go buy food. My last last straw was the rotten chicken that leaked all over me. It smelled like vomit. It GOT all over my brand new coat. It was most horrific experience I have had in a grocery store!!! It’s a very long story and wish not to get upset again. Also every day I would pop in there day or night carts would be bashed up against the cars. I complained multiple times to the store Manager BECAUSEPEOPLE like my mom who are Handicapped would have to get out of their cars, move A Bunch of carts so they can park In Handicapped. I has no choice and went the other night, got precut apples, pic shows they are rotted. This has happened manu time’s before but i let it slide. I’m not going to give ANYPLACE A REVIEWTHEYDNT deserve so I CANBEELITE. I’m so fed up with bad customer service! !!! It makes me sick. I have been a victim of horrific customer service too many times and hopefully I can help someone else. Seriously dnt go here especially if you dnt want dents in your car from carts and rotted food.

I have a lot of gripes with this place. 1) Parking lot from hell. Self-explanatory. 2) Unless you are cooking Spanish food, the produce section sucks. There is no reason why any major chain grocery store in America should not be carrying fresh ginger root, fresh sugar snap or snow peas, or a variety of sprouts. I don’t care if its January in New Jersey. 3) Bakery department is very sad, stale breads and often out of croissants by evening. 4) The busier the deli meat department is, the slower they move. It’s taken me up to 25 minutes to get lunchmeat. Baffling. 5) Purchase fish from the seafood department at your own risk. Nothing is fresh, just smell the area. The one and only time I got salmon from here, against my better judgment, it was riddled with bones. 6) Whenever there is a «can» sale, guarantee on not being able to find any canned tomatoes. I will never understand why shelves aren’t adequately stocked when they know that every coupon-clipping psycho will buy up everything on the 1st day. 7) The Redbox is in the worst possible spot ever, near the exit of the check out area which is barely wide enough to get a cart through. 8) WHYARETHEYACCEPTINGFOODSTAMPSINEXPRESSLANES??? Here is a story, which I’m suprised I didn’t post a few months ago when it happened because I was livid at the time. I asked the customer service wench where the boxes of Morton’s Kosher salt were, as I could not find them in the Kosher section or in regular salt aise. This mouth breather gives me the most vacant glare, then says«uhhhhhh in the Kosher section?» She might as well have said«duhhhhh» after it. I felt like saying no shit sherlock, I looked there. Then I hear her laughing and blatantly mocking me to another cashier! I would have reported her asinine behavior to a manager, but I figured she probably has the IQ of a dog turd so I let it go. FYI — Turns out they do not carry it, which is strange(anyone who cooks knows that Kosher salt is a kitchen staple). But believe it or not, this is one of the«better» ShopRites. I come here when I’m desperate and can’t make it to Wegman’s(e.g. during a blizzard).

The good: it’s pretty big, esp the produce dept. The bad: noisy, crowded, poorly laid out, seafood section is unappetizing, those darned announcements are really ear-piercing and supremely annoying. Did I mention poorly laid out? Annoying revolving door entrance. I realize that the extensive space dedicated to pre-cooked meals is supposed to qualify this supermarket as appealing to high-intensity career folks who don’t have time to cook, but the inconveniences outweigh the appeal, to me. I would rather have less pre-cooked meals and greater stock on the shelves.

Your average neighborhood supermarket. Nothing exceptional except maybe the extensive Goya section. Parking can get a little cut throat if you prefer not to walk far. There’s a redbox here by the checkout which is a bonus. Not too crazy about their cashiers, can definitely be friendlier.
