It does have beer and wine, and a security guard (which it needs). Bakery is pretty much non existent, as is seafood. I only recommend it for the basics. I have been shopping there for the past 10 years for basic supplies, and the management used to be even ruder. Last time I had a customer service issue, they were ok. But if one person is sending money on Western Union, forget waiting for customer service! It takes them a ridiculously long time to work the money sending machine.

This is a great option to pick up staple items for your grocery list AND they sell wine and beer! The store is clean pretty well kept. The produce section has undergone a revamp and is quite nice. I love that I can find fruits from the USA which is hard to come by at my fave, Wegman’s. They do not stock much organic food but have a small offering. While they may not have some of the name brands you desire I have tried some new things that I have come to enjoy. It is not crowded which allows time to peruse the aisles for deals, etc. The MVP card always offers savings. Their app is pretty cool; it populates your lists based on previous purchases. Finally, they offer self– checkout.

The staff and manager here are very rude. They seem to think that all Asians are alike and ration the Sunday newspapers accordingly. Avoid this place like the plague.

This is a very convenient grocery store for me. The good: seldom crowded, easy parking, and one of if not the ONLY grocery store that sell beer and wine in PG County! The bad: no hot bar or salad bar, small and no frills, no self checkout, doesn’t carry all the items you’ll find in the larger grocery stores. All in all, it’s a very satisfying grocery store experience. Not a fan of big crowds and long lines!

I’ve been to this Food Lion multiple times. I’ve never had any issues. Some things can be a little pricier than at some other stores, but with my MVP card I usually save quite a bit. I prefer Food Lion to most of the other stores because it has fresher produce. The meat selection is alright. Never had a problem with customer service. I will continue to do my grocery shopping here!
