Arrabiatas Italian Restaurant

The evening started off promising when we were seated within 15 minutes w/​o a reservation, but it was down hill from there. Following a 15-​minute wait for our server to take our order, our bread, although fresh, arrived well after our soups and salas did. Minestrone soup has some flavor, but could have used a sprinkle of cheese (none was offered). Entrees trickled out of the kitchen, one crawled after two requests. The late arrival, veal parm, was crispy and but the cheese barely covered the small cutlet and there’s a bare dollop of sauce beneath. A side of roasted veggies came out ice cold and was returned. We had to flag down a busboy to get soda refills, Water glasses were never referred. And when done, our server asked, Are you paying cash. There’s a 10% discount for cash. Only problem, I didn’t have enough cash to cover the meal. With so many other options for Italian in the Delray/​Boynton Beach area, I’ll be bringing my cash – or credit card – elsewhere in the future.

We went to this restaurant as part of a larger group for a surprise birthday party given to a friend of ours by his wife. The waitress we had was very friendly, but was overrun with other tables she had to cover besides our party of approximately 30 people that was assigned to her. As a result, several of our orders were delayed and/​or screwed up. For instance, I ordered chicken parmigiana and got veal instead, 15 minutes after most of the other dishes were already served. After another 10 minute wait my chicken came out but with meat sauce on the linguine rather than the tomato sauce that I had ordered. I also had to ask 3 times for a diet pepsi before it finally came out. This scenario happened to several of us in our party, enough where it caused agitation amongst o

Enjoyed Dinner tonight with Friends. The Sole Francese was over the top. Every thing else was wonderful as always. Chef Jimmy is a Genius and the Staff gives the same great service and they all smile.
