Its A Cubano B was outside of BBB(Banging Banjo Brewing) during their first Beer Bingo night. I was hosting a UYE that night and there were several of us inside playing and sharing food. I wasn’t too hungry but I still wanted a snack, plus I didn’t want it to be too messy either. After going over the menu I saw the Yucca Sampson Fries. They are Yucca fries with shredded pork on top with cilantro, queso fresco and a green poblano sauce. The guy had me pay then he said he would bring me my food! Perfect! It was cold out and I needed to get back to the games! Within a few minutes he brought me my order and I was surprised at the size of these fries! Tons of fries and the pork and other toppings were piled high! A few people asked me immediately what I had ordered. The fries alone were delicious and had some sort of flavored seasoning on them that I absolutely loved! It was just salty enough to compliment my beer and it went well with the pork and queso. I ate the whole thing! Almost didn’t want to share lol! Next time I see this truck I will make sure to try more things on the menu!

We were playing beer bingo at Bangin Banjo… I was hungry! One of my friends is not a fan of Cuban food so was looking into ordering a pizza but, I was hungry! Everyone getting their food from the food truck, enjoying it… I did not want to wait for delivery, just had to forget about the pizza and go order from It’s a Cubano B. As they are a Cuban food truck, of course they have the Cubano Sandwich, and I’m sure it’s what they are famous for and it’s really good but, I’ve had a ton of those in my life and wanted something different. I asked them about their quesadillas and the guy said they were«amazing». I saw they have guava(which I love) and they add a spicy sauce to it so, I was sold. I ordered it immediately with, and the ham croquettes because I just had to try them(it’s a Latin thing, I guess). I paid, and in less than 10 minutes, they guy is delivering my food. Quesadillas are, as he said, Amazing! The sweetness of the guava comes through and is a great combination with the spiciness of the sauce. The chicken is tender and the cheese, perfectly melted. This is definitely a must try! The Croquettes were good, a little salty for my taste but flavorful. I also tried the Yuka Sampson Fries — these are Yuca fries with pork, cilantro, queso fresco and a green(I think Poblano) sauce on top. These were really good too. Friendly and fast service, great food, and no wait… definitely beats delivery pizza(which you can have any other day). Glad I gave them a chance. If you see them parked anywhere near you, try them, you will not be disappointed.

Yasssss!!! Okay, now THAT is out of my system… onto the review. I went to Copperpoint Brewery(fav place, love it) on a Friday evening and ‘It’s A Cubano B’ was parked out front. First time trying it, now a huge fan. :) I ordered a chicken quesadilla and Sampson fries to share with my table, plus their signature burger(I forgot the name, sorry!) Dude, those fries were THEBEST!!! Oh man, I’m a huge fan of fries and these were top-notch; very different and super fresh. The quesadilla was great, too, and the burger was well received by Zach H.(it was his birthday, awww.) Service was friendly, payment was quick and easy, plus they delivered my order inside to the table. I can’t wait to have them again and I’d recommend them to anyone that isn’t avoiding meat. ;)

This was the first time I got a chance to eat at this food truck. A bunch of us were heading over to Copperpoint Brewery to celebrate the end of Unilocal’s local beer week. These guys were there right out in front. My wife and I were pretty hungry since we didn’t have much for dinner and decided to give these guys a try. I got the chicken quesadilla while she got a cuban sandwich. Both were very good, but I have to let you know that the sauce on the quesadilla does kick hard, so if you’re not into the spiciness, it might not be for you. My wife loved the cuban sandwich, which is pre-made to an extent(my quesadilla wasn’t), but they do make their own pickles which are very sweet. I did talk to the guy who was working in the truck, not sure if he was the owner or not, but he said they only show up to breweries. If you’re in the mood for beer and cuban food, just check their facebook page and you’ll know where they will be at. Very well worth it! I’ll be trying some other food next time I see them!

A group of us caught the food truck outside of Copperpoint Brewery last night and some of us tried it out since we were hungry. Both of the guys on the truck were super nice and they stated that they only do breweries. It’s actually a very good thing since most breweries do not have food at their establishments. I went for the Big Cubano sandwich, which was mojo roasted pork, Swiss cheese, mustard, and ham. I requested the pickles to be put on the side since I’m not a fan of them, but my husband is. The thing I liked most about the sandwich is that the pork was shredded. Most of the time it’s sliced and I end up pulling the whole slice out when I take a bite into the sandwich. It was a little more pricey than expected, but it was worth every bite. My husband got the chicken quesadilla and he enjoyed it as well. There was a spicy sauce on top that had a kick to it. I hope one day in the future they’ll be at a food truck event. They got some good stuff and it would help to have the truck exposed to more customers. However, it’s awesome too If they want to stick to their original plan. If they’re happy, we’re happy!

Got to try out Its A Cubano B while I was with some friends at Funky Buddha Brewery a while. We ordered the Tower of Pork Power(Fried Tostones, Slow Roasted Pork, Carribean slaw with Orange Mango Dressing and Poblano Cilantro Sauce) and the Sampson Fries(Fried Yuca Fries, Slow Roasted Pork, Poblano Cilantro Sauce, Mamey Aioli and Queso Fresco). The food was delicious and flavorful. Yep it hit the spot. The best part? It came out very quickly and the staff was very friendly!

Caught these guys at Bangin’ Bango this weekend. After my first round I was feeling a little hungry and went to check out the truck outside after seeing someone with bacon on a stick. Bacon made with a stout from Copperpoint Brewery(It’s called Cuban B — named after them!) It was a sweet and savory couple of bites — but some of it was a little tough. There’s this one part on it though that is soooo good. If you’ve had this — or are about to eat this you know what I am talking about. Made the whole thing worth it. Fries — Since my with is vegetarian, I was worried she wouldn’t have anything to eat. Wrong! The super nice dudes on the truck hooked it up with a pretty awesome dish — yuca fries and tostones covered with coleslaw! Croquetas — Not only were they on point — the come with a garlic aioli that is fiiiiire. On top of the great food these guys were the best. Super personable, talked through some of the items and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing. They even mentioned they are opening a brick and mortar location soon! Will be in as soon as they open up! DALE!

Usually, Cuban food + vegetarians = no bueno as there’s a whole lotta pork happening. It’s A Cubano B has a whole lotta pork going on(a whole tower of it, in fact) but it also has creative, inventive chefs who realize that not everyone gets down like that and offers a fantastic, fresh and flavorful alternative. I requested the Samson Fries sans pork and the owner/proprietor/my new favorite person suggested I try the off-menu Vegetarian Platter: Half Samson fries(no hog) and half Tower of Pork(sans pork). So, wait. How does that even work? A Tower of Pork without the pork sounds kinda structurally unsound. Wrong! Perfectly fried, crispy tostones piled high with a sweet and tangy slaw and drizzled with verdant ribbons of cilantro sauce nestled next to crunchy yuca sticks, a sweet mamey aioli, a mildly spicy poblano sauce and dotted with teeny little morsels of queso fresco. It’s a fresh, delicious, spicy/sweet and savory delight that was basically the best meal I ate all week. The only thing that could have made it better was adding the chipotle aioli that came alongside the chicken quesadilla and I’ll be sure to do that next time. It’s a Cubano, B gets an A.

The food was great, but I was particularly impressed with the customer service. I ate at It’s a Cubano B when I was in town for a convention. When I returned home I noticed there was a problem with my credit card payment. I reached out to the owners and they worked with me to resolve the issue. Great service! I never would have expected such an effort on their part.

Unreal. Everything is good. Cubano is great, steak sandwich is great, Sampson fries could be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Nice people and amazing food in a clean looking food truck.
