Great food, great service. Had the cashew chicken, pad Thai and garlic prawns, all were fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended!

I’m going to write this review based on what I would have thought had I eaten in the restaurant(I ordered take out), since I always expect take out food to be a bit less impressive than what I get in the restaurant. The appetizers were pretty good-summer rolls and papaya salad. The only knock is on the dipping sauce for the summer rolls, which was a bit sweet for my tastes. The rolls and salad were fresh and had very good Thai flavors.(the takeout papaya salad was swimming in the dressing, which I assume is due to the fact that it had to be put in a container, so no problem with that). The entrée was Phad Phed with Bison. This is not meant as a backhanded compliment, but the best part was the eggplant. It was maybe the best eggplant I’ve ever had in an Asian dish. The rest of the Phad Phed was excellent… it had a nice spicy kick and great flavors. Maybe a bit light on the meat(the bison was tasty, though I can’t say that I notice that much of a difference from beef in this dish so the extra charge for Bison could easily be avoided with no harm to the dish). Overall, though, one of the better Thai dishes I’ve had anywhere(I won’t be a douche and tell the Unilocal world how I’m from City X, and we have some of the best Thai restaurants in the US, but I am). Two miscellaneous considerations:(1) they packed a nice container of rice with my order, even though I didn’t order it; and(2) there were no utensils.(2) was a bit of a problem since I’m staying at a motel and had to turn the rice container top into a makeshift scoop/fork, but had I really been worried about this I would have asked for utensils. Between you and me, eating with hands is not such a bad thing. So not quite five stars, but I’d recommend Sweet Chili without hesitation.

Beautiful place; sweet people and delicious food. Restroom was bigger than my living room but they didnt have paper towels stocked. Ambience was great, wait staff were friendly. I ordered Red curry. First the portion of rice they served was tinnny. But when asked for more, they brought a gigantic bowl of rice relative to previous one. And they even didn’t charge us for that. A little upscale in terms of price but for the food and ambience, price is justifiable.

For a special occasion, treat yourself to this beautiful place with its tasty and beautiful Asian cuisine. We’re having papaya salad followed by the shrimp for me and stir-fry elk for Bob. The vegetables are fresh and prepared to perfection. There is an extensive wine list. I am enjoying a delightful Pinot Grigio. Bob’s Zin will complement his elk dish perfectly. Save room for dessert. Many delectable choices. Excellent service. Darling waitress!

The interior is incredibly well put together and makes for a pleasing atmosphere… as is their menu. The cooked lobster roll was excellent and worth the price. The curry was delicious and my protein choice(duck) was plentiful. I will definitely go back before leaving town next week.

Fun dinner spot with friends. Go check out the new drink menu. I had a tasty Basil Gin Rickey(lots of fresh basil) and a Thai mule. Lots of great cocktails to try.

The overall experience was pretty good. Had potstickers and summer roll for appetizers, the potstickers was pretty good, the summer roll I could’ve done without, it was pretty bland. Had the Phad Phed with Bison, see picture. I think the sauce was probably a little overwhelming, but still tastes pretty good in smaller doses. I have to admit I was very skeptical when I first saw the place because it was a fusion of Thai, Chinese, Japanese, typically that’s a recipe for a disaster. But I was pleasantly surprised.

I haven’t had better Thai food anywhere. This includes, Seattle, San Francisco, NYC, and Florida. Sweet Chili is doing something right. I haven’t had a bad dish here. All the flavorings are on point. They actually offer firm or soft tofu, and they prepare it correctly. Curries are amazing. Vegetables are always fresh and the rice is done right. If I am taking someone out, or showing someone from out of town, this is where I take them. I’d give this place 5 stars if it were totally amazing every single time. There was just a couple of instances where they had an off night and the Tofu wasn’t seasoned properly and just thrown into the Pineapple Fried Rice instead of being marinated and cooked in oil.

Ordered the Pad See Eiu, asked that it be made less sugary, but instead noodles were pretty salty. Broccoli and tofu was good tho– 3 stars for food, 5 stars for service, 5 stars for décor. Waiter was apologetic and offered to add steamed rice, but decided not to take offer b/c of the carbs. Boxed it up to give to a homeless local.

If there is a wait the front entry area, host stand is a cluster f&@k. One hostess handling seating, the list, processing checks and handling take out is horrible.

What a great fusion of locally sourced food with an Asian twist. Delicious meals, pleasant atmosphere and solid service. A fun respite from your typical steak and chop restaurant. Our family has been there 4 times in 6 months. 4 for 4 so far…

Horrible. Ordered some of their tom Kai coconut soup. And what I found in my to go sack, was a tiny little container that I paid $ 13 for! I immediately called them and asked them about it. The sweet waitress who answered the phone even admitted to me that their to-go container was smaller than the one that is served in house!!! She said«ya when I eat here I always order it here and put it in a to go container so I get all my food» But it is still the SAMEPRICE! They charged exactly what you pay for the bigger bowl, just because you want to take it home to eat it, they jip you. I asked to speak to the manager. He would not get on the phone. I asked her if they would do anything for us since we are loyal customers(were) and she asked the manager, again he said no. Well they just lost some customers. We have a big family and spend hundred of dollars there and they couldn’t even comp us for a little soup. Peace out!

Atmosphere– very warm, authentic, romantic(for dinner) and inviting. They had red roses on each table, white table clothes and the décor was well put together Service– we had a brand new waitress, but she was fantastic. She had a friendly personality, she was attentive and didn’t forget anything. Food– if was serve hot, fairly quickly and the flavor a were excellent! We had the duck rolls, the drunken noodles and the cashew chicken. All excellent. Best cashew chicken I’ve ever had! Price– because of the listed above points, I felt the price was on point. We had a lot of left overs, which is always nice! I’d go to this restaurant again when we are in town!

The food was a solid 3 stars. Nothing disappointed that we ate. the service was also 3 stars and they were mopping the floors and shutting down while we were still eating. Meh.

We walked the downtown area of Bozeman and chose to eat dinner at Sweet Chili. It was delicious. The calamari with the sweet chili sauce was lightly battered and seasoned perfectly. Hubby ordered the pad thai and said it was very excellent. I ordered the spicy seafood with three chili peppers and it lived up to my expectations. Tasty, spicy, and sweet. Yummy. A must try if you are in the Bozeman area.

I love this place. I’ve lived in Thailand and I currently live in NYC and I absolutely love coming here for the food. It can get spicy, though, so be careful! My favorite dishes are basil chicken and drunken noodles. The vibe is a little upscale for your average thai place, which means smaller dishes, which I’m totally ok with. Usually, though, I just pick up carry out!

I have have a love/hate relationship with Sweet Chili. I eat here often, but the food is not that great. It’s decent, but it’s nothing to write home about. I eat here quite a bit for the lunch specials, and I ALWAYS get the basil chicken, level 10. I eat here weekly, and I probably will continue to do so, but the lunch specials just aren’t flavorful — so I go the spicy route to give it flavor. Now, the seafood dish is pretty good and so is the soup. If you are looking for something inexpensive and filling, this is a decent choice.

Sweet Chili has made it’s mark in Bozeman and it could easily go toe to toe with with a restaurant of the same style in a big city. This is not your average Asian/Thai cuisine you might find in small town America folks. They have incredibly fresh flavors and fusion of ingredients that create some amazing dishes. The Thai curry is phenomenal and the lunch specials are a killer deal for great food. More casual at lunch and a finer dinning experience takes over Sweet Chili in the evening. Insane food, great location, friendly service, nice space– Sweet Chili has it all.

For 43 $ for 3 items I expect a couple things. Good service and I’m not picky here but some utensils or at least the offer of for a to go order. A nice interaction when picking up food. Neither of these things happened. If I order a salad I expect not to find the butt end of the head of cabbage which I did. More than three pieces of beef in a salad that cost 15 $, this was still the best thing. The rice was supper soggy and the soup was so salty it was unpalatable. The veggies in the garlic chicken were laughable. I don’t feel like I’m asking to much here.
