As likable as Dr. Rucker is, and as much as he’s helped others, I wound up being started on too high a dose of Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) which ultimately had the side effects of depression, loss of appetite, inability to sleep, and achy joints and pains. Because of this, I began researching dosing for LDN and learned that a person with my health issues (Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis being one) should be started on LDN at no higher than 1.5 mg/​day. I was started at 3 mg.
Efforts to get me to a dose I feel comfortable with have gone ignored. I’ve phoned, emailed, and hand-​delivered a letter to the office, seeking a way to find a dose that works for me. My efforts to communicate with the office and the doctor have been ignored.
I paid $ 350 for the first appointment with this doctor, with the understanding he’d work with me with the medication he prescribed. That hasn’t happened. He seems to be a guy who doesn’t want to hear from patients who don’t respond well to his prescriptions. It’s very upsetting, but he’s quite a charming guy so I believed him. There are other doctors in the Sarasota area who also prescribe LDN. I’ll be looking to find another provider.
p. s. The office staff aren’t well-​trained either. One put another patient’s chart where I could easily have read it. They messed up delivery of my medication, blaming it on the pharmacy when it was the doctor’s office who’d set the policies in place, and they got my address wrong. In short, other than the brief meeting I had with Dr. Rucker, the rest of the experience has been disappointing.

Dr. Rucker is the best. He goes above and beyond to help with your medical needs. I recommend getting the ozone IV therapy and hyperbaric chamber combo. It’s so rejuvenating

If there is something that is important when you work with your Doctor that is communication. The Dr and His brother do an incredible job for athletes and normal folks like you and me. They listen to your needs and they approach your personal situation with a tremendous amount not only of medical knowledge, but also with a great approach of proven alternative medicine that gives Results. Is always great when you see passionate people who care for their patients and they are willing to help you in every step so you can be your best. Excellent customer Service and Professionalism. I definitely recommend this place.
