This place is a good find with great food and affordable take out. Been here a handful of times and have not been disappointed yet.

Our whole family enjoyed this spot while we were in town for Parent Weekend. Great pizza, cozy atmosphere. We called ahead for a reservation and were glad we did. There was a line out the door. We will definitely come back again.

Sunday evening dinner was fantastic with the addition of some awesome entertainment by Marko the Magician! Not some run of the mill kids magician(although he can gear it down to their level with ease) Marko amazed us multiple times with his illusions and comical wit! Can’t wait for next Sunday to see him again!

On a recent trip to the booming metropolis of Bradford to visit the Copeland Furniture factory we were treated to two excellent meals at Colatina. There were close to 40 people in our group both times. They handled the crowd masterfully. The timing was excellent. The food even better. Kudos to the entire staff. You couldn’t have done it better. Thank you to everyone.

My family & I were visiting the area for a wedding & were looking for a place to eat & happened to stumble upon the take-out portion of this restaurant. One side of the restaurant is sit down & the other is order anything to go. We ordered a pizza & breadsticks & waited about 20 mins… Totally worth the wait. The pizza was amazing. They have lots of specialty & unique pizzas to pick from & of course the normal choices too along with other food options. The prices were a little high but there aren’t many restaurants to pick from in this area & I would totally go there again.

We have been coming to Colatina Exit in Bradford, VT ever since I was a child. We went most recently on a Sunday night as a family to celebrate my sister’s birthday. Sunday nights at Colatina feature Marko The Magician performing table-side magic. It was definitely a highlight of the meal to have him come over and perform. We sat upstairs and had a great view out over the golf course with the mountains in the background. The quality of the food here depends on what you order. My sister and I shared a large Buffalo Stampede pizza. She said the chicken and blue cheese appeared as if it had all been food-processed together and then spread over the dough. Not very appetizing to look at. It could have had more blue cheese flavor(maybe blue cheese dressing drizzled over the top) and needed some hot sauce to really make it a Buffalo chicken style pizza. The overall taste was just okay. The shrimp and scallop carbonara was very good, with lots of bacon and a creamy sauce. The portion was large enough to take home for lunch the next day. We would order it again. Compared to the portion of the shrimp and scallop carbonara, the chicken and broccoli alfredo pasta was the opposite: the general consensus was that it could have used more chicken, more broccoli, and more noodles. Overall we had a good experience at Colatina Exit and we will continue to make trips to Bradford to go there in the future.

Dinner two nights in a row. Drawn to this restaurant because only place open after 9:00. Not many restaurants in this part of Vermont. Turned out to be delightful experience. Service was very good, checked with me regularly. Always looking for good pizza and sausage mushroom was tasty and well built. Expected ordinary Caesar salad, most restaurants this seems to be a must for menu and not always well thought out. It was really good. Nice red zin on wine list went well with pizza and salad. Per prior review, bread was outstanding.

The food is great. The pizza is awesome. Service is fine. ***heads up*** there’s a 50 cent charge for a sample of a beer, so if you’re not familiar with their eclectic selection of beer… Stick to a strlla. No one likes a bait and switch.

Wonderful restaurant on the main drag of Bradford. We had Brunch there several weeks ago. You know the story of me and good bread, we are so spoiled in Chittenden County with all the great bread, this restaurant had very good bread. My tenderloin and egg dish was excellent, meat done according to my taste medium rare and perfect poached eggs… you know how poached eggs sometimes still have the moisture from the cooking medium, these must have been first put on paper towels before being served. My husband is a Calzone nut, and he pronounced his dish very good. The server was attentive he seated us next to the window overlooking the country club. By the way the price was most reasonable. If we are that way again we will certainly go there.

Used to go here 30 years ago regularly. It was always good back then. Delicious salads, pizzas and Italian meals. 30 years later, the pizza tastes exactly the same. The restaurant is bigger. So glad to see recipes carried on for years and years!

Great pizza and good Italian dishes like eggplant Parmesan and lasagna. I wouldn’t order anything fancy here – stick to the basics. Portions are large. They have a decent selection of beer. Friendly service.

The table side magician was the best part. It took 45 minutes to get our food and my plate had definitely been sitting in the window for awhile. 25 minutes after we ordered our appetizers we were told they were out of stuffed mushrooms. 10 minutes later the spinach asparagus dip arrived. Kind of bland but it did look like it was made on site. Fettuccine Alfredo rather bland. My son did like his Chicken Masala but my other one didn’t like his steak and cheese sandwich. Bun was cold and should have been toasted. Steak and cheese mixture probably microwaved.

My husband and I stay in the middle-of-nowhere New Hampshire, and Bradford is one of the last towns we pass through before hitting the boondocks, so it is usually our go-to place to grab a bite to eat. I had intended on going to the Perfect Pear again(it’s been over a year and they have since closed), and the Millwaters wasn’t yet open, so we decided to give Colatina a try despite it’s 3.5 star Unilocal rating. We are in our early thirties, well traveled and spoiled by good food experiences. These days we come equipped with a pretty adorable infant-so I’m always looking for places where she’ll be welcomed. I will say things got off to an inauscpicious start when our waitress came over. We had a few minutes with the menu, but were rushed to make a decision on our mains. There were quite a few good looking items and I was having a hard time deciding. The waitress curtly explained«I’m just here for your drink order.» It was a relief, but something about her tone just put me off(maybe it’s the post-baby hormones, or maybe I’m just: sniff: sensitive). Hubs and I ordered a beer each, and we were both pretty impressed with the local offerings on tap. The baby was asleep, but she too would’ve been impressed, I’m sure. We ended up ordering two pizzas and a seasonal salad. I explained to our waitress that we were vegetarian, but I really liked the ‘Vermonter’(red sauce, spinach, carmelized onions, vermont cheddar and apples with a maple balsamic glaze) and the BBQ Chicken pizza(subbing eggplant for chicken). She didn’t make me feel at all a pain for asking to vegetarianize things and she was super pleasant. She brought over delicious bread and a roasted garlic oil for dipping(really awesome). My salad had a homemade creamy dill dressing(I’m a sucker for condiments) that was really, truly fantastic. The veggies within were fresh and crisp too. no complaints! We ordered another round of beers(baby? still asleep) and got our pizzas. Unfortunately the BBQ pizza was prepared with chicken. The waitress apologized and swept it away to be re-made. A moment later the hostess came to our table to also apologize. She also took our salad off the bill(a lovely gesture, but not necessary). We tucked into the Vermonter Pizza and it was AWESOME. Seriously delicious flavors which worked so well together(carnivores take note, the original version included locally sourced bacon!). By the time we’d each had two slices of that pizza, the BBQ returned and was also met with our rave reviews. By this time, the baby had awoke and she got some bread and pizza which she also seemed to enjoy. The ambiance is warm and homey, with many of the tables boasting a traditional melty candle atop an ol Chianti bottle. We were seating in a back nook, near the kitchen and wood fired oven and we felt very cozy and happy. My husband and I have been coming to the area for years and couldn’t believe we missed this little gem. We’ll be back and I hope Colatina gets some good reviews. To all those unsure of going-take a chance… You might be as surprised as I was!

According to Unilocal,2 stars translates to «Meh. I’ve experienced better.». No truer words. Yes, the Coli, as the locals would call it, has been a round a long time and is a Bradford staple. But with little competition, where else would the locals go? The previous evening, we dined at the Millwaters, previously called the Perfect Pear. The food at the Colatina is ok, as long as you temper your expectations. It was decent enough. Our party of 5 ordered various salads, an everything pizza, lasagna and their signature shrimp and steak diavolo. the service? What can I say? It was friendly enough, but very painful. To begin with, our waiter tried to encourage us to order wine with our meal. We wanted water, but I guess that did not satisfy him as he offered the wine a second time. We sat at an oblong table and he chose to stand at the far end to take are our orders. So we had to yell over the noise and music so he could hear us. The bread for the table took a long time to arrive and only one small basket and one small dish of dipping oil for the long table of five. Ok, it won’t kill us to pass it around. The food slowly arrived, then it got slower and slower. Two of us were not served when the other three got their salads and pizza. The waiter was MOST apologetic about the delay and admitted that he caused the mix up and delay. He offered to bring us some garlic bread while we waited some more for our food. THAT took a long time. After everyone else finished their meal, our last two orders arrive and not even together. To add insult to injury, our waiter came to asked if we wanted ground pepper and cheese for our meal, after we were half way thru. Sigh, the check came quickly, but he disappeared again. Actually he did not disappear and I saw him and many other waiters hanging out together, having a great time. I had to walk the check and credit card over to him. No, we will not be back.
