I am so happy with my cut & color. Thank you Debbie for the great cut & color and especially all of the info I left with about my curly hair, how to maintain the style & color. In all the years I have had my hair cut & colored no one has ever taken the time to explain anything to me the way you have. Will definitely return to this salon!

It’s pretty easy to cut my hair. I used to do it myself even. All I want is long layers tapered in the back, and, with my curls, it almost always looks great. But I just received the worst haircut ever. Armida seemed to shear the edges of my hair. Instead of my beautiful curls looking smooth, everything is jagged (the layers are choppy, uneven, not blended). I’ve never had a haircut that leaves my hair looking more dry and damaged than when I first entered, but that’s what it looks like now. And you know how you hate when hair dressers go shorter than what you requested? Yep, that happened, too. And I don’t know what’s up with the work atmosphere there. They can’t seem to keep hair dressers there for more than 3 months. I hate that I no longer live in Monrovia. The Fantastic Sam’s there has had the same people for years, and they are much more reliable than the hacks rotated in at this miserable place. When there is someone good, he/​she is run off by management if you ask me. I agree with another statement I read: people must be giving 5 stars just to receive a discount. I gave this one a fair shot, but now I’m taking my business elsewhere.

Do not come here if you already have a regular hair stylist or salon.
I came to this location because it had the highest rating. I was in desperate need of a trim and knew I wouldn’t be able to see my regular lady anytime soon.
First of all, the lady who cut my hair was extremely sweet (so nice I feel bad for even writing a bad review). However, I have never been more embarrassed or disappointed of a hair cut in my entire life.
As stated previously, I went in for a trim. My hair hit the middle of my back and in general was pretty long. By the time everything was over my hair hits barely past my shoulders with uneven/​unblended layers. After my hair was cut, the lady tells me «it will take about 3 months before your hair is the same length again». I almost cried. I had an uneasy feeling when my hair was being washed (which, by the way I now have a bruise on my scalp from the shampoo sink), but I thought it was because it was not my usual place.
I’ve learned my lesson… never stray from your usual hair lady (or man), no matter how impatient you get or how desperately you need a trim. Just wait!

My boss and I just came to get new hair cuts, she looking stunning. They clipped her dead ends and gave her a blow out, I can tell she feels beautiful!

Awesome service. Wasson Sano has cut my hair several times. She provides EXCELLENT service. I look forward to seeing her every 3 weeks. She is a definite asset to FS.

Lily did a great job on my elderly dads hair and included trimming his eyebrows which was nice. The salon is clean and nicely maintained

Halina did an amazing job cutting my sons hair! He is 3 and is a pretty patient kid but I was blown away at how at ease she put him. I really enjoyed the experience despite managing both of my toddlers at the same time! Would definitely recommend coming here and I’d probably come here for my own haircuts too (not just kids)!!

Tina is the best! Never wait, she always makes time for me and remembers everything I had done the time before. She colors my hair black and never leaves a mess on my face. She does a great job with flat ironing too.

UNSANITARY!!! SCALP ISSUES! Most of these 5 stars are because they’re giving money off if you do so!!!

Went to this salon a while back and had to report it to the Board of Cosmetology because of how UNSANITARY it was. There was hair everywhere and you had to walk over and on somones elses hair to get to the seat. They used soiled brushes and combs and never cleaned their clippers. The «owner» sat in a chair talking about food with one of thier stylist while the stylist cuts her husbands hair. She didn’t take any control over what was going on and made people wait so her husband could get a hair cut.
The nasty thing was when I confronted her about is informing her there was an issue, she brushed it off and said shes not their babysitter they know what they should do. She said it in a nice tone but come on. I dont want dirty brushes and combs used on my hair.
Staffs pretty nice. They’re are a couple stylist who that a rude but the rest are nice.
After coming here I started having scalp sores. Never had them before. I reported this to the Board of Cosmetology because I didn’t want anyone to have to deal with this. I hope they practice proper sanitation and disinfecting.

You get a good haircut for $ 18. I have really gray hair and wanted her to put some black back into it, I had this done once before, but she said it was all or nothing. Not really sure if something changed or not. It was really hard to understand her, so I just got a normal cut and left.

I always have a great cut here, all employees are well trained and friendly. The prices are reasonable and the products are wonderful for your hair. Living near by helps alot too. Plus they are open on Sundays :)

Wassam was awesome. Really professional and friendly. My haircut has never been better. Also gave me good tips on how to maintain my beard. Definitely found my new favorite barbershop.

Tina is the absolute best stylist! I came in earlier today and she was so sweet, diligent and engaging! She actually showed me what she was doing and explained healthy hair by showing me the before and after result of getting a trim!
If you go to this location, request Tina! You won’t regret it! She’s super funny and helpful and I can’t wait to go back!

The lady cutting my hair said «you put the hair gel in your self because am lazy» i thought she was kidding until she just stood there waiting for me to gel my own hair. I had to tell her to do it and she said «Im lazy» then she just put a little bit of gel in and said you don’t really need it its night time. WTH?
Then another customer wanted a receipt for her hair cut. They could not give her a receipt because she paid cash. What kind of business dose not give a receipt when you pay cash?!? When they proceeded to tell her there is and extra charge because she had long hair. Lol
Most people get a hair cut because their hair is long. Why any extra charge? Then they tell my girl friend they have to charge her extra because her hair is thick! So why did they not give me a discount because my hair is thin??? I would never come back to this place.
